America's Best Flowers

We always went to the orange big box store to get our plants because they were cheaper, and that ended up being a very costly mistake. We have a spot in the front of our house that we had been trying to find plants for 2 years in a row. Both years the plants we put there died off at the end of the year and never came back. Over $300 down the drain. We decided to give it one last shot and went to America's Best. Boy are we glad we did! The staff has an incredible amount of knowledge and were able to tell us exactly why the plants we were told at the big box would work, didn't (mostly it was due to zoning issues, but also a brick wall). And even better, they were willing to spend the time with us to find plants that had a similar look to the ones that died, but were guaranteed to survive! That's right, guaranteed. They have a one year promise on their perennials, so it wasn't even a gamble this time. We were sold.

We were so happy with our experience we have returned numerous times this season to purchase many other plants for our landscaping and we couldn't be happier. Their flowers are so bright and beautiful, and are bringing so many butterflies to our yard! The staff is so kind to novice gardeners like us, explaining how to plant them and how to care for them once they are in the ground. I have recommended them to many family and friends, and they have been thrilled with their experiences as well. This place is a perfect example of the old adage "you get what you pay for."

I love this nursery. Wide variety, helpful staff. Good variety of seeds, pots, yard art, bushes, trees - they have it all.

Plants are healthy and have a nice variety of organic seeds, fertilizers and such as well.

This is my favorite place to purchase flowers for the yard! Their prices are reasonable in bulk and their quality is top notch-healthy strong plants. I've found the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about planting options. Their container workshops are a fantastic deal as you bring your pots to their work space, purchase their plants and they provide you with excellent quality soil and fertilizer.

I always appreciate being able to go to a greenhouse and work with knowledgeable staff. The place is HUGE! They have many greenhouses full of vegetables, annuals, bulbs, and perennials. So many flowers and choices it becomes difficult to choose! I felt that their prices for annuals and vegetables were very reasonable. Their perennials I felt were a little on the pricey side compared to other places I've found. If you buy flats, the prices for the flowers/vegetables go down. If you sign up to be a rewards member, they send many coupons in the mail, often being $10 off purchase (after spending a certain amount). It's a pretty busy place on nice days, the check out lines can get quite long, but they move people through pretty quickly.

This is the first place I go when I want to buy any kind of plant. They have a huge selection and on a lot of items their prices are reasonable. Though I will admit there some things that are priced way too high (like their fruit trees for example).
