Walked in here completely clueless on how the service or the food was going to be and walked out super happy with the food and the price and even the service. The pictures online do not do it justice.
When we walked in there was no one there, so we got seated very quickly. The restaurant itself is small yet cozy, and the lighting really sets the tone and holds up the standard of an Italian restaurant. The bread and the sauce that they bring you in the beginning is the best piece of bread Ive ever had, I lowkey wanted to take some home.
We ordered the Mussels & Clams as an appetizer and yet again they hit the spot with the sauce that they are drenched in. Its so different from the bread sauce from the beginning but it is still so good and creamy, and i even tried it with the bread, omg i was dying on the inside.
We next ordered a fettucine carbonara, and a carnivore of love pizza. I personally loved the fettuccine carbonara better than the pizza but my partner absolutely loved both. We ordered a tiramisu to go and that as well was so good.
And our waitress was very sweet with us and attentive! I wish I got her name.
We're definitely coming back here again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carmen P.Dallas, TX032100Apr 8, 2024
We were told the food was amazing, but they had never been to the restaurant in person; they had only used DoorDash for 'ToGo" deliveries.
We were told the food was always HOT and delicious (except the garlic bread is always stale)! We decided to check it out in person.
It's a quaint little place--even a bit cozy! It wasn't busy at all, and we were immediately seated, reviewed the menu and the "daily specials," and were ready to order.
The server was kind and took our order... I wanted a glass of wine, but I said I would start with water.
The Tour of Italy (daily special) and the Lasagna Bolognese (reg menu)!
While we waited, I headed to the restroom--ugh, the RR really needed attention! After I washed my hands, there were no paper towels and nothing to dry my hands with. I walked out with my hands dripping and quickly asked an employee (also a server) for "...paper towels, as there were none in the ladies' room". She grabbed a handful of towels, wadded them up, and handed them to me (I kid you not)! I told her you might want to add some to the RR, and she said ok... but others had the same experience.
Back at the table, I was pleasantly surprised to see Garlic Bread and marinara sauce... it was so delicious; the bread was barely warm but still tasty. We gobbled it up!
Our food arrived. It was hot and smelled so good. We requested more bread, and it was amazing--hot and fresh--just as it should be!
We immediately noticed the portions. The Lasagna ($11.99) portion was generous, but the Tour of Italy ($17.99) was more like an appetizer. It had a quarter portion of Lasagna, a quarter of chicken parm, and a tiny scoop of fettuccini (Not worth $17.99)! The chicken parmesan was tough and tasted old. The Fettucchini was amazingly delicious, and the lasagna was very good! Once the meal was delivered, the server returned only when it was time to deliver the check.
In the meantime, I never got to order that wine; our water glasses were empty, and we wanted to order another entre to go, and dessert...
It had gotten a little busy, so maybe they were short-handed... we will never know.
We will definitely give it another try... Just no "Tour Of Italy"! lolHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 21, 20241 check-in
Where to begin? We only happened on this place as it was raining and next door to Tiger Sugar. But man- it is a new regular spot now. The complimentary garlic knots to start were pillow soft and seasoned to perfection even without the delicious marinara. Even with a full dining room, food came reasonably quickly and every dish was as good as the last. The Chicken Marsala had a massive portion of chicken and the signature wine flavor really came through, though it personally could have had a touch more acid and mushrooms. The Scallapini was refreshing with mainly citrus flavors and not overwhelmingly creamy. I would have liked it to be more basil heavy, but they used fresh leaves, so another point for Amoretto. Service a impeccable, constantly checking up and refilling knots and bread. The menu is expansive, so I will make a point to try their pizza next time. I'm gonna gain a lot of weight here.

Came in at 4:30p so it wasn't busy. Staff was friendly. Garlic bread was good but didn't care for the marinara that came with it. Slightly too acidic. Pasta dishes were good but nothing special. The favorite out of the dishes was the Alfredo.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I have been here hundreds of time and every time the food comes to the table I just dig in so this time I made sure to capture a photo of the amazing food first. All the pastas and pizza here is absolutely amazing, and the complimentary fresh bread is to die for. The staff is also very sweet and will also give amazing suggestions if you are unsure of what to have. Its a small yet cozy restaurant, and definitely a go-to italian place for me.

Wow! Great food with amazing service. Small little restaurant that gives the opportunity to focus on their guests. All the dishes we had were amazing. We will definitely be back.

The bread and marina for the table makes my mouth water for the rest of the meal! Manga!! This is what you call a hidden gem! Like other reviewers said, nothing fancy but the food is fabulous! We've never seen a dish with both Veal AND Shrimp! Hubby loved it. I saw the reviews about the Limone dish and tried the Salmon Limone. Amazing! Bring your own wine and no corkage fee! Oh! the cannoli's are also delicious!
