I received an email from Anarumo Inspection Services. They provided a link and an invitation to write a review.

I am providing a review, but I am doing so on a platform of my choice.

I am in the process of purchasing a townhouse. The house needs a complete renovation. Regardless, the realtor suggested that I have the house inspected. I took that suggestion.

The cost for the "visual inspection" was $505.03. I am underwhelmed with the work product (inspection report). To be frank, the report provided almost no information regarding the condition of the property that I didn't already know.

Do not misunderstand me: If you are buying a house, townhouse or condo--get a building inspection. But in this instance, the report was a wasted exercise. If I knew then what I know now, I would have passed on this inspection and saved myself $500.

They did a great job with our inspection of our new home! They found many things wrong with the house - which we were expecting given the age of the home. I would hire them again.

Frank did a fantastic job during the inspection process. He was very detailed and explained all items with clarity making us feel comfortable about the home. He is also very professional yet friendly and honest.

This is an update years later. I left a long update previous of everything I've later discovered and was missed. I've removed it due to personal reasons that have nothing to do with the review itself, it was up for years so I think it's done it's job. What I will replace it is this. I would not use the services again. There was a legal matter that affirmed the heavily missed issues during the inspection. This didn't involve anarumo but their inspection report was called into the matter and disputed by several professionals, including an architect. I reached out to Frank who insinuated that Jeff, the inspector, was let go and no longer works there. He said he would return my call and look into. He never did. I emailed him a few times and no response.

Working with Anarumo was great. Very professorial inspector, and easy to access final report for all details. My wife and I was very bless with have only a handfull or less of items needing to be repair now, and only about a dozen minor items going to be repaired during our warranty process. Anarumo gave me the piece of mind I needed to know my new construction home was as good as I thought it was going to be.

Frank is a consummate professional from the first point of contact. Signing up for different inspection options for my new home was a breeze. Frank did a thorough inspection (basic, termite, mold, sewer, fireplaces) and his feedback gave us clear assessment about the situation of our new home and the work needed to restore it to prime condition. Frank answered our questions patiently, gave us great insights on the seriousness of specific issues he had pointed out and even offered to connect us to professionals who could help us with the repairs. Very grateful - he helped us have confidence in our buying choice. I recommend him wholeheartedly for anyone who needs a health check up of their prospective new home!
