This small restaurant opened for dinner at 7:30PM, typical of local area Pisa restaurants. We arrived a few minutes early to find the doors open. A woman ushered us out telling us it opened at 7:30PM and locked the doors behind us. Just after 7:30PM we returned and the same woman seated us with menus at a small table in front by the door. She seemed annoyed that we were there. Standing behind a "reception" desk her focus was on her mobile phone rather than us. After getting her attention she slowly walked to our table. I asked a couple questions about the menu. Short incomplete answers and with an attitude that was not appreciated. We placed our orders. The food was mediocre. My wife ordered the fish soup with octopus, cuttlefish, squid, and mussels. She told me it was very salty and was missing the cuttlefish. She ate about one-third of the fish soup. After finally getting the same woman, our server, to our table I told her of the issue. No comment other than questioned if we were finished eating. She took our dishes away. I asked her for the bill twice. She looked over at me as if to acknowledge she heard me but did nothing. Finally a man appeared and brought our check. I paid him and we left. I would have to think the owner is completely unaware of her poor customer service or is aware and there's a family connection. Given our experience with service and food I recommend staying away from this place.
