Annie's Salon and Day Spa

My husband and I moved to VA from SoCal a little over 2 years ago and I was struggling to find someone who knows how to color natural brunettes. I started coming to this salon after I had great experiences with my nails. Hava Le always does amazing work. As someone who is used to spending a lot on my hair in CA, pricing is fair for the amount of time it takes to process bleach while keeping my hair healthy. I'm obsessed with my new color!

Excellent service. Always friendly. I had SNS and a pedicure (not easy since I have ingrown toenails). Wonderful experience as always.

I seriously went to this salon with high expectations due to all the good reviews it had. Unfortunately that was not the case. I went to this salon for a mani & pedi. Ended up with nails shaped unevenly- slanted strangely, and the polish is not neat

I am definitely unsatisfied and i will not be returning.

I've moved around quite a bit so finding a salon as home base is always important. When I started going to Annie's I knew immediately that this was my new place.

I normally get mani/pedis here, but have also gotten a facial, haircut, and multiple facial waxings.

I've had very good experiences with each service. There was only one time where one eyebrow was a little thinner after a waxing, but that was corrected the next time I went.

I like how you can tip in cash app and Venmo ... makes everything so much easier.

Everyone is super nice at Annie's! You can tell the business takes care of their employees, which is important to me. :)

I have been scouting hair salons and decided to go to this hidden gem which is not far from me at all.
I booked a color correction appointment with Annie's a month prior when I had messed my hair up with box dye. I had uneven color because of of 2+ years of old black dye at my ends which I was unaware of.
My stylist was amazing- she knew what she was doing and educated me along the way of how my hair was like just by looking at it. I especially only go to hairdressers that understand Asian hair, so it was great.
She bleached a test strand and it showed how not every part of my hair was lifting easily.
However, she worked her magic and her and another stylist applied the bleach on my ends and it seemed like my hair ended up lifting well. We both were ecstatic and she proceeded to do the color process when washing my hair. After that, was the cut and style, which I LOVE. I usually don't like getting my hair chopped off too much because my hair grows extremely slow but the layers honesty look really good. Hair does grow back and it'll for sure grow back beautifully because of the layers.

This salon is real special because they're like the jack of all trades- they do hair, nails, makeup, and lashes. I'll have to check out their other services too, and I already referred my coworkers to check them out.
I'm definitely coming back to get a touch up cause I'm not trusting anyone else besides my hairdresser here! Been in the DMV area for 5 years and I finally found the salon for me.

Literally love this spot, I have never gotten my nails done better anywhere else and I've gone to soooooo many different places. ALEX IS A LITERAL ANGEL! I like very simple colors and shape and rarely get designs which you'd think would be super easy however I feel like because I like such a simple and clean look I usually notice imperfections easily and I literally don't even check my nails before I leave, ALEX always gets me right! I've done long, short, and free handed french and he kills it every single time. I don't even wanna post this review bc I'm about to not be able to get an appointment bc he'll be booked up but he deserves the praise! Also I religiously get my nails done every 2 weeks and I haven't gone in almost 4 weeks bc my nails have held up and still look so good!

My mother and I have been coming to this business since she moved in with me about a year or so ago. We go about ever 6-8 weeks and sometimes we get an OK haircut and sometimes we get a fantastic one. We find that once we get a technician that does a great job, the next time we go in she's gone. However, last weekend was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The ladies we liked were no longer there and we got Haza who's never cut either one of us before. She dry cut my mother's hair and styled it and it looked good (my mother doesn't normally style her hair). Then it was my turn. I have wavy/curly hair so I always get a dry cut with no style. She had my head turning every which a way and I could HEAR the scissors working. When it was done, she slopped a half cup of product on my hair and sent me on my way sounding like SNAP, CRACKLE POP. I paid the $55 per cut and left. I got home and rinsed all that crud out and that's when I noticed. That heiffer FAKE CUT my hair. My mother feels the same way. My hair doesn't look any different after she "cut" it than it did the week before. I do not recommend it and I won't go back because of this and the fact that technicians don't seem to stay and it seems like the business is geared more towards nails than ahir.

Alec and Aden both do a great job! Today I had my hair done by Aden. What can I say, awesome!! I enjoy coming here. But please change the music! It's really difficult to sit here and listen to that geriatric music repeat itself over and over and over again thanks.

I love Annie's Salon! I have been a client since she opened her shop. I met her at another salon and followed her. The service is wonderful Tracy my manicurist and Aidan my hair stylist are the best. We have become friends

I highly recommend Annie's for a Womens haircut and style! The stylist listened to what I wanted and made my hair look great. The stylist was quick and professional. They cut, blow dried and styled my hair and they checked in throughout to make sure they were styling how I wanted. I will definitely be returning in the future.
