Anytime Fitness

I am a very busy man. I go to work at 6:00, and don't get home until around 9 pm. That's precisely why I chose Anytime Fitness. Unfortunately it still didn't work with my schedule, so after paying for about a month and a half where I didn't go, I sent this location an email indicating that I wished to cancel my contract. I left 2 voice mails, and never got a call or email back to address my request to cancel.

I finally found some time today to call these people during business hours, seeking a refund of three months of charges since I notified them that I wished to cancel my membership, and the manager was completely unapologetic. Her answer was "well if you didn't hear back, most people would have come by the office to get it sorted out".

This place is a 24/7 gym that caters to people who don't have that kind of time to just pop in during normal business hours. For this lady to have sounded off with that remark shows me that she does not understand her clientele and their busy lives, and is more willing to gloss over an unsatisfied customer's concerns than to own up where the business has failed that person, and try to appropriately remedy that. She will be hearing from me through the court system. It's sad it has come down to this, but I will not let unscrupulous and sloppy business practices cost me any of my hard earned money. This is terrible business practice that should be understood by any prospective members.

I joined Anytime at a different location for its hours and convenience, but I can cheerfully report this location is even better than the last in terms of ease of access, and in a few other ways as well. Most gyms, the large ones especially, make working out a very impersonal thing. Some people prefer this, and can do their own thing in here, but the staff is unfailingly warm and friendly if you want contact, and actually make an effort to check in and remember who you are and how you're doing regardless of whether you're paying for training sessions or whatnot.

I won't claim it has All the amenities, because the location is small, without room for indoor tracks or a pool, but I rarely have to wait for equipment I need ( I haven't figured out when the real crush is, my schedule is too irregular) and there is a solid selection of cardio, weight machines, free weights, and calisthenics equipment on offer. It is also hands down the cleanest gym I've ever been inside. I've seen staff on their hands and knees scrubbing treadmills and the like on a multitude of occasions, and the attendees are excellent about wiping things down as well.

So I'm never going to complete the Everest challenge, that Jacob's ladder is murder, but I'll be here for the foreseeable future doing everything else.

New member, joined almost 2 months ago & so far I am very very happy with my experience there. It's very clean, tidy & organized. Being 24 hours was a huge plus for me since I can stop in any ol' time I want & not have to potentially worry about fighting for/over machines or equipment during peak hours. The sign-up process was smooth & quick, the price was right, they have everything I was looking for in a gym, what's not to like?

Saw a complaint about the gym's size but honestly that also works for me, since with their layout I don't have to waste moving between equipment to complete my circuit. I think of it being cozy instead of small-ish & I rather like that.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Jada (one of the managers there) is AMAZING! I sent an email a few days ago asking if I could bring in my own equipment, something small, but important for me, that I'd noticed they didn't have there. She responded within hours to let me know that I wouldn't have to bring my own, that they'd purchased one for the gym & it was on the way! I was stunned, such responsiveness, so quickly, they truly do aim to please. Not sure if I'd have gotten that type of response elsewhere, & I don't think I want to find out!

The best compliment I can give Anytime Forest Hill is, when I walk in, it feels like "home", what more could you ask for?

Jada and staff were very responsive to our concerns regarding health guidelines during the pandemic. This put our minds at ease during these tough times. We love this small, personable gym! Thank you!

Me and my boyfriend were happy anytime fitness customers, we moved from our Norfolk location to the Forrest hills location last September. We both began at companies that offered free gym memberships so we decided to cancel our membership in June. Due to the fact we completed our initial contact we were told our last payment would be taken out at the end of June and then it will be closed. Come July we were charged again, we contacted the office and was told we'd receive a refund. It never came..... August comes and we are charged again. After many phone calls we are refunded July and August. Now here we are in September and we are charged AGAIN. This place is a scam, if we received refunds for July and August how are we still being charged for September?!?!

Very clean. Never crowded. Knowledgeble trainers. All the equipment you need and more. Loved it.

Joined Anytime Fitness Forest Hill 2 weeks ago and the staff was really friendly. Explained to me all the perks of Anytime Fitness especially when I'm about to return to Singapore for work, and I'm able to utilize the membership here for Anytime outlets in Singapore.

And of course the best deal is that the membership costs is much lower than signing up in Singapore's AF!

Gym is always not real crowded during the time when I visit, which is good because I get to workout at my own pace without having people queuing up and pressuring me to speed up my workouts. My previous gym ACAC gets real crowded at peak hours and it was really irritating waiting for equipments especially.

This gym has all the equipment any good gyms should have and with it's competitive rates and perks, it's definitely a good deal!

Great gym, clean, and staff is helpful. I travel for work, so having access to 24/7 locations is awesome. The shopping center is well lit, and their is convenient parking available. I wish they had over 100lbs dumbbells though, but no big deal.

I love this place. The staff is really friendly and easy to connect to on a personal level. The equipment is new and kept in great shape. Bathrooms and the entire gym are ALWAYS clean.

I haven't taken any of their classes but people seem to really enjoy them. Also, they're one of the few gyms I've been to that sells protein and pre-workout drinks so anytime I forget mine, they have a backup right there.

What more could you want?

There are people of all ages and all levels of fitness. Place is very clean to include the bathrooms. Machines and weight room available.Obviously
flexible hours. Staff is helpful. Personal trainers available. Classes for folks at different levels of fitness. Not crowded. Can go on the way to the grocery store in same shopping center.
