Their service is awful. I had a water heater installed in August 2020 and I'm under warranty. I have gotten the run around with them going on 2 weeks now. Can't get an appointment,only a stand by which means it could take days or even weeks due to the storm that we had last month. They tell me that they are dealing with the customers that had damaged during the storm. So I had a neighbor call to get an appointment and they were ready to set him an appointment not a standing appointment because he would be a paying customer how funny. I will never ever use this company for any more home projects. So as long as you are a paying customer you can get service. But don't pay and have a warranty because you get nothing. Still waiting.
They don't even get a star but I had to puck one in order to post this.

I purchased a tankless water heater from ARS. They have been out more than once because of install issues. During the freeze in Texas, the unit leaked. I have been trying for more than two weeks to get someone to call me, come by, or give me warranty information. NOTHING. I have left more than a couple of messages, daily contact on their site (emergency)...NOTHING form anyone who can help. The freeze was in late February and today is March 11th. I would have thought I would be a priority since I am a returning customer who PAID THEM IN FULL. As of today, I am still waiting!

mitch is not a reliable roofer. he talked like a pro on the job he quoted to my 97 year old farther. we accepted gave him half up front. (was not the cheapest) that was january 2020.
it is now march 17 2020 and we have a 12 foot by 40 foot concrete tile portico that is taken apart. yes we have had some rainey days but also plenty of clear days he could of worked. we have tryed to contact him and no return calls. so it seems he has decided that he has done "half the job and quit". i wish there was a way to put pictures on here. what a mess he left with. dont waste your money like we did.

I'm not sure how this company has good reviews. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Does not show up on the days he says he will show. Ultimately the job got done after many, many days of hassle. We also paid 50% upfront (which was scary). Also, job was quoted to to take 4 days and he spent a total of 6 hours. Please beware!!

I had a leak in my roof and called ARS American Roofing Solutions. The owner, Mitch Hentrich, came out and walked around on the roof, showed me some pictures and said the wood was rotten under the tiles in a small area of the roof. He quoted a little over $5000 to do the repairs and spent an hour telling me how difficult and time consuming it would be. He said he would do a temporary repair while he was there but that he'd have to come back in two weeks to complete the job. He asked for a deposit of $2540.00 (50%) to secure his time to do the job.

He spent about 90 minutes on the roof and claimed it was fixed at least till he could get back in two weeks. However, all I got was excuse after excuse about why he couldn't come back as scheduled. After three weeks of delays I asked for at least a partial refund which he refused to give. He now claims that the 90 minutes spent on the roof making a repair that didn't work earned him 50% of the job that was supposed to take 4 days with tile removal, wood replacement and gutter repair. He provided nothing of value and did not perform the work. At this point I'm out $2540.00 and paid another roofer recommended by the original builder to do the whole job correctly for under $1000. Additionally, he presented a liability insurance certificate that was phony. I called the company and they said no such policy was in effect. He also uses the BBB logo on his materials claiming to be a "BBB Gold Star Certificate" recipient. However, the BBB says he's not even BBB member.

Mitch fixed our roofing in 2015 and there is a leaking on the side right now. So we contacted him and scheduled an appointment for him to check out the problem, but he never showed up on the appointment and never reposed on the calls or texts. Today he told me that he has to charge $350 service fee just to come out and check on the problem when this should be covered by warranty, but he said he is not going to do it for free to come out. This is very unprofessional service and ridiculous fee. Don't come to ARS for roofing service.
