Hmmm so many bad reviews. I'll be completely honest. I did not utilize this firms services. I live in California but I wanted to help my family with a probate issue. I had a lot of basic questions about how to get the ball rolling and I felt that the person I spoke to was very responsive, respectful and helpful. In my experience the best way to see if you will have a good experience here is to go through the reviews and see if people who needed the same legal help as you got great service or not and go from there (for example, divorce help terrible, probate help great - just like you wouldn't go to a breast augmentation expert for your rhinoplasty)

Be extremely wary! Not everything as it seems. I was called a dick by their pompous office manager after questioning their practices. They took my family for $5000 for 3 hours work which did not help out our situation at all on a fraudulent criminal case. They claim it was a flat fee for 3 hours of work. I have an invoice from their offices showing different. They also Claim the attorney I was working with at their office had left and had taken my money with him. They give the same box answer for everything. Just look at their rebuttals to your reviews. They don't care. I hope and pray to see them in court answering to this in front of a real justice system.

Unfortunately, I am out $750 without any new insight. I was told by case management that the attorney was very familiar with provider contracts, but that was not the case when speaking with the attorney. I was told all the services I would be given including redlining of the contract, which was not prepared for me.
During the consultation, I was not told anything that I did not already know. In fact, I was more familiar with current Utah code for restrictive agreements than the attorney was. Misleading in representation by the case management department and disappointing service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tiffany E.UT, UT03Nov 22, 2023
This firm is horrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. They are dishonest crooked and will promise you the moon to sign with them take your retraining fee then tell you they can't do anything for you. When they sent our retraining fee back they kept $765 claiming that's how much it cost to review what was signed and given (mind you after our 30min consultation telling us they would love to take our case) just to call us and tell us they didn't want to take the case. We contacted our bank and they sent our signed agreement stating it wasn't fraud because we signed to hire them. Even though they didn't do a thing! I will make sure to tell everyone and anyone that ever needs an attorney to stay clear of this office.

The only reason I gave one star is it is impossible to give less. I went through Ascent for a divorce case in hopes to be defended and get the time I deserved with my son. This was the beginning to an expensive nightmare. I went through 3 different attorneys (Brandon Vitola, Michael Anderson, and Gretchen) within a year and none of the information about my case was discussed as attorneys left their firm. I was left the describe my case over and over again, what i wanted, and the whole works only to get the states bare minimum in custody which was most important to me, cleaned out by my ex as far as funds with the sale of the home and such, got little to nothing as far as personals went, and charged out the rear end to now be battling again for what's right. Ascent did nothing to protect me or my rights in my divorce and allowed mediocre actions to pass. How do I know this? I had another firm who specializes in proper rights and review of my case which stated the things that were gotten away with (Supervised parent time, loss of funds, significantly reduced parent time, etc.) should have never and currently should not be happening. Ultimately, I paid a firm for them to assist my ex in the original divorce process and getting what she wanted in the decree. If you are looking to be defended and get what you deserve, look elsewhere!

I had a not great experience. I felt like I was telling my attorney everything to do instead of him telling me what needed to be done. I lost a lot of money in resolving the problem and definitely did not win the fight which I should have. I was not very happy

We have a pressing Custody issue. I was so concerned about it. One consultation and my fears were gone. If you have worries give them a call.

I started a paternity test the first part of 2021 and now in dec 1 I am still waiting for paperwork and to finish up everything. This company has been horrible and just gouges your pocket book doesn't give you any updates and if they do it's nothing important. They only call you to charge you. I was passed on from lawyer to lawyer and at the end the attorneys secretary. They did nothing in my interest, I think they were working for opposing attorney and will never trust these blood thirsty , lying people. So before you look for an attorney make sure you look around because there are better but I'm sure not much better in regards to attorneys in general so good luck and and too Accent law "you suck".

On their website it states 0 Down for a chapter 13. Then I talked with a rude man and he said it was $1875 to file and he wouldnt add some things to it. Bait and Switch.
