Great nail salon! Friendly staff. Family owned. Tina is a sweetheart and she did a great job. I highly recommend this nail salon. I didn't get a pedicure this time but I noticed they were giving long foot massages on the pedis and everyone looked like they were really enjoying their service. The salon is clean and well decorated with nice equipment.

Love my nails.. Great job Tina!

This place was terrible. They were rude, and the service wasn't good. I hated this experience and wouldn't advise anyone waste there time.

Worst gel manicure I've ever had. The technician convinced me to switch colors because the first wasn't coming through. Fine. I picked my second choice. This just looks bad. I could have done this for $30. I'll never be back.

      Bad Gel manicure.

A first and last time customer here. I went for a full set of dipped nails @ $40. I forgot my reading glasses and didn't realize until I was home what a rotten job the guy at station number 1 actually did. The sides of five of the nails were flared out way past the actual nail and there was polish on my skin and cuticle area. By the next day the nails were catching on clothing and lifting along the sides.

Upon returning to have my nails fixed I was directed back to the same guy. He began "fake filing" the edges which accomplished nothing. When I indicated I wasn't satisfied he said he could start again. He was sanding the top with the nail drill and cut my skin which was bleeding badly. He was unapologetic and unconcerned. He proceeded to do an even worse job than the first time with sloppy polish, poor coverage on the nail but plenty of polish on the skin.

After washing my hands I approached him, showed him my nails and told him honestly that it was the "worst manicure" I have ever had. An untrained child could do a bet job than this guy!

The lady at station 3 intervened offering to "fix" my nails. She too proceeded to cut my skin, apologizing about my skin being "sensitive." She added an extra coat of color and attempted to clean up the sloppy paint job even asking, "You don't like the polish on the skin?" Seriously?! Who goes for a manicure and asks for polish anywhere but on their nails??? She said they try to make everyone happy.

A happy customer would be one who got the service they paid for done by a trained/experienced technician in a professional manner. The dumpy older guy who did my manicure is a poor excuse for a nail technician. If making the effort to look at reviews, do not waste your time or money at this salon.

This was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. The staff was extremely rude and the tech was so rough. She also left lots of excess polish all around my toes. I normally don't leave bad reviews but this was a particularly bad experience. Save your money or go elsewhere.

Horrible! My first and last time here. I specifically told the man I wanted a thin acrylic and the end of my nails to not be wide or have a wide flare; he did the opposite and when he realized I was going to realize his crappy job, he rushed me out to check out. Horrible job!!! There is no freakin way that man did not realize the lumps of the acrylic and gel polish, the uneven filing, and especially the lift. The fake nails lifted so bad, it wasn't even glued to my real fingertips. Such a crappy a s s job! $68 down the drain! I do not recommend if you are not a regular.

Be nicer! I came in for my toes a while ago and had a great experience. Today was awful. Everyone that spoke to me was rude and the fact that the manicurist didn't fix the nail she messed up during the process is ridiculous. Honestly don't understand how y'all are open. I asked if someone could help me match colors to the ones I had on my toes and literally got no help. Like are y'all in customer service or not. My nails look like a 5 year old did them.

Tried Asheville Nails for the first time today. The man that did my manicure constantly was wiping his nose on his hand and then grabbing mine. It was gross. Also, you can still see my nails under the paint, he did not seem to time the drying process at all. There was no one in there so there was
no reason for him to have been rushed. The place is very nice, perhaps my first time experience would have been better if I had gotten another tech.

The pedicure that I got was okay, but that's not the reason for my 1 star. When I sat down and the man started filing my toenails, the lady next to him stared at my feet and then mouthed "woooow". She then proceeded to talk to the lady next to her, looking at my feet, whispering something to her, and then them both laughing. When we were leaving I turned around and saw her talking to another man who worked there, they were both staring at my feet and smiling. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and do not wish this upon anyone else.

      Updated review

I moved to Asheville this summer, and tried a handful of places before going here. Their prices are good and the place is clean. I've gone to Jennifer a few times now and am happy to have found a place and a nail tech that I like!

Updating review: I stopped going here after booking an appointment for 3pm (called a day in advance) and being made to wait till 3:40 before I finally left. At about 3:20 they put me in the pedicure chair. The water had gone cold by the time I left and there were still people ahead of me. Don't take walk ins if you can't handle your appointments!
