Athen's Towing

Horrible service. They came out to tow my sons car to the shop, and refused to tow the car because a tire was flat. The driver refused to wait 5 min for him to change the tire, he just left. Great customer service!!

Worse company ever. Nicholas completely unhelpful and really mean person.
My teenage son used this company thru our insurance company State Farm on May 2, 2022 due to a tire issue.
On May 6, 2022, my son was t-boned and since was not his fault, he contacted this company again and paid out of pocket (his own credit card).
This company double billed this credit card on May 9 and on May 10 (He just check the credit card statement today - learned lesson, check your accounts statement once a month, at least).
Since he is a 19 year old college student ( I mean, just learning how to make a claim or be mindful that a receipt is needed in most cases when dealing with merchants), I decided to contact the town company for a receipt. Nicholas answered the phone, I wasn't even finished explaining the issue when I was put on hold and then disconnected.

Called again, I was put on hold several times. Nicholas told that the only service was on May 2,2022 and could not provide the receipt (That is fine since we can get it from State Farm). He was brushed me off and wants to terminate the call. I insisted and he stated that he doesn't understand my accent (I speak more than one language and English is my third one, so I have an accent, actually a heavy one) but he understood before, well he was just not assisting me. I offered to put my son on the phone since he has not accent at all but Nicholas refused.

Finally after much wait time for the many holds that I was put thru, Nicholas asked me for my email, I was confused because he didn't want to answer me if he found the receipt for May 6 or not (remember, he already told me the May 2 can't be provide to me since was billed to insurance company), he answered that he found it.

I provided my email address and so far I have received not email or any receipt.

They are so nice when answer the phone and you need a service but after that service is ZERO.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE PREDATORS I had to give one star because no star wasn't an option. If they have your car good luck getting it back even if you pay them, cash only

Employee was very unprofessional, came out to tow a vehicle that was on my property due to an HOA incident. Called a member of my family a Nigger. Then he bragged about doing it. Athens towing "Lost" the EXPENSIVE keys/fob to my truck. It was towed to the body shop and left with NO keys. But from the reviews I'm reading, maybe there were other plans to stealing my truck later . They never found and never compensated for the loss.

Words cannot explain how disturbing their business practices are. They make multiple trips daily throughout my community because they probably lovable the contract to our HOA.. first experience was being towed while attempting to view a home to purchase... then they attempted to tow my agents car a second time within 15 minutes of being parked...

Then I had a neighbor parked in a designated parking spot whose tags expired that night... she was towed.. she already had the new tags just didn't put them on.. and still had to pay for the tow.. so now they are hunting our tags... its so disgusting.

Its greasy.. slimey business like this that makes me hate tow agencies as well as HOA's

We were in need of a towing service and they accepted our case and gave an estimated wait time. After taking twice the amount of time quoted, we called to follow up with them to check on their status and they cancelled our case without any notification. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude, not helpful nor apologetic, and did not try anything to fix their mistake. Not reliable, not friendly, worst customer service. Choose any other company besides this one.

Athen's Towing always responds to our calls for tow immediately, compared having to wait hours like some other companies make you do. They are super friendly and are always professional when calling. Someone is there 24/7 to answer the phone. They also provide real time tracking of their location providing you with a precise ETA.

It is unbelievable how many of these reviews are people upset for them doing their jobs efficiently! Follow the rules, and you don't get towed!

My car was not starting on a Sunday afternoon. Thought I would be waiting for hours to get a tow. Athens responded quickly (maybe lucky timing). Daniel was great and very quick to get my car loaded up and moved to the repair shop. Thank you Athens and Daniel.

My neighbor used this towing service and they used my lawn to back up! When I contacted them they basically called me a liar ( I have it on video). The tow truck driver who apparently does not know how to drive and back up properly, decided to come up on my lawn over the side walk. Imagine how they treat your cars! I guess it's off to small claims court, I will let you know who wins!
