      Updated review

Nearly a year later. And we finally returned (from the US, not local).

Service remains unmatched. The seared foie gras was absolutely next level. Steak was delicious. Duck confit was a tad salty, but eaten wither the potatoes well balanced.

      Excellent delivery again!!!

Service was slow because the proprietor had no help but he is quite friendly. The food was superior to most everything we have had here in Paris. We plan on going back.

We made last minute reservations here for dinner.
The owner was short staffed so the wait was ling but he was very apologetic for it, service was very friendly.
The setting was simple, laid back , can pass for a casual dinner or a special occasion spot.

The food was out of this world and came in quick once the order was placed. There seemed a lot of regulars here so must be very good food all the time.

Friendly, small restaurant in walking distance from the Marais and Louvre. Only 24 seats...reservations required w credit card guarantee.

I started w a fresh gazpacho that hat just a touch of heat...was so yummy. Someone else at our table had the ceviche. For main courses, one person had the scallops and vegetables, another had the special of the day, which was beef bourguignon and I had the duck confit. The duck was perfectly cooked, crispy and came with some delicious small roasted potatoes. The other dishes looked equally delicious.

Very limited wine menu with fairly reasonable prices.

Service was a bit slow to start, but the food came out punctually and was hot and delicious.

      Mix of French and tourists.

      Gazpacho appetizer.

Thanks to some online research and Yelp reviews, we found this place during a downpour evening and the place was packed! It was filled with locals and very charming! The owner/server was so gracious and found us a table! We tried the salmon and beef tartar which were both fantastic! This is the type of french bistro you want to find while exploring Paris to enjoy the foods of that amazing city! Due to so many amazing food spots in Paris we planned to not repeat anyplace but we broke that rule and went back the next day for the scallops which were even better!

I'm in love! The food, the ambiance, the owner who serves all of his guests hearty portions of beautifully crafted, delicious French food leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. We were the only non-French there but it was packed so this small, unassuming restaurant in a more remote area is definitely a hidden gem! I cannot recommend this place strongly enough as it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! We had lots of food and everything was amazing. You absolutely cannot go wrong by dining here!!!

This place is small and seemingly in the middle of nowhere but they serve amazing food for very reasonable prices. The decour inside is nice as well.
      For the starters:
The foie gras is amazing and for the price it definetly seems like a steal. The salmon tartar was also top notch.
      For the main courses:
The steak dishes here were definetly the best. The pork was great too. The duck was definetly the weakest but not bad at all. The only con for me was the roasted potatoes were drenched in vinegar so it was sour, not my cup of tea. If you enjoy that taste, you'll love the potatoes too.
      For the desserts:
The Cheesecake and the Molten Lava Cake were both very good!

If you are looking for a restaurant with great service, this is not the place. The waiter, who might also be the owner, is in no rush, II don't think he knows about French service etiquette. He made a mistake in the order, after waiting 20 min, he offered to compensate us without specifying clearly what. I thought 2 desserts would be offered but No. when the check came we asked to divide the check in half with our friends and he rounded up the amount.
The food was good. If the service would match the food, then it would be a great place.
