Good place to eat. You can go there sit down and eat in a decent amount of time. Service is terrific

Went in about 1:00 during lunch. Poor service and took 45 minutes to get our food, though the place was mostly empty and we ordered lunch specials

I was doing biz in Sylacauga and the guys recommended this place. Glad they did.

Had the barbecue turkey with white sauce with baked beans and maybe the end-all, be-all potato salad of all time. Cheerfully brought to the table, too.

Next time I'm in Sylacauga, I'll be back.

Great bbq and sides! Service is always great!

We've had everything from here and it's always top notch. This isn't just another bbq owner trying to sling out food. August's has a pit master that really cares about his product.

Love this place but I only gave them a 4star because they were out of the smoked turkey I wanted. I did wait in till they were almost closing before I ordered though. So that was my fault. The mac and cheese is amazing and I enjoy their slaw. Since it was a Thursday night I was able to get the brisket plate (Thursday, Fridays). I definitely recommend here. And I will eat there again.

Great food, loved the Wednesday Ribeye Steak Cooked perfectly, awesome flavor! Loaded baked potato with pulled pork was delicious & large dinghy to share. Excellent value for the price! Definately will return on my next visit to Sylacauga!!

My husband and I stopped here on our way home today for lunch because we were super hungry and it looked like a cool little place. First, the atmosphere is great and it's very well designed. I definitely want to come back on a day that it's not raining to enjoy the cool outdoor seating. The service was fast. The food was really good and honestly probably some of best Mac and cheese I've ever had.

I don't give 5 stars too often, but this is well worth it! My husband & I had the platter with 3 sides & shared it. So much food and so delicious! The smoked meat is so tender & full of flavor! The platter included meaty ribs, a large chicken quarter (breast & wing), baby back ribs, smoked sausage, pulled pork, 3 sides, & toasted bread. We didn't eat the bread because everything else filled us up. We had green beans for our three sides and they were so very good. Not heated from the can, but flavored with onion & meat, not too salty either.
I highly recommend August's BarBQue and we will definitely return!

They have steak night on Wednesday nights. That steak looked and smelled go good, I couldn't even wait to get home to take a picture. Took a big bite on the drive home! Best steak in the Talladega county area, maybe even further than that!

New Pell City location. I was excited when this place opened, but wow are they pricey...$13.65 for a bacon cheese burger, fries and drink. Burger takes 20 to 30min to get and is mediocre at best, fries are very average too. I really wanted to be excited about them and give my business, but that price is too much for what you get imho...
