In the past 10 years of being in business I have bought 4 buses from Charlie and his team at Authorized Resources. They have always well exceeded expectations and have been a great resource for all bus related things. They helped me secure a loan by referring me to a lender and have always picked up the phone to answer questions when they arise. I would highly recommend them and look forward to doing business again with them in the near future.

This person claimed to be an expert in the transportation industry and also operating as a dealer with several hundred vehicles under his control and came to our location with his mechanic to check out several vehicles for his business in the Midwest.
He picked one of the oldest vehicles in our inventory and was given a substantial discount. As part of our sales documentation, all sales orders and Bills of Sale clearly state that vehicles are not warranted as they are commercial vehicles. He determined that the bus was free of defects and he arranged for pickup by an independent driver. An extended warranty was offered to him at our cost price but it was refused.
Several hundred miles from our location a spark plug worked loose from the cylinder head which is not uncommon in Ford motors over 100,000 miles. The bus made it to his location safely more than 600 miles away.
Subsequently, the buyer demanded compensation for repairs without so much as a mechanics report. In addition, he sent a message threatening me with physical harm unless we send him money which has been documented as a criminal act.
We have been in business for 32 years and have sold thousands of used vehicles (mostly buses). During this time we have a perfect record with the New York State Department of Consumer Affairs as well as the New York State department of Motor Vehicles. Our customers have always been overwhelmingly satisfied and we work hard to make every vehicle safe and trouble free. - Danee D.Owings Mills, MD01Apr 12, 2013First to Review
We are a small day care center for seniors and disabled individuals. The quality of our transportation is of the utmost importance. When we purchased a van from Authorized Resources Ltd. of Westbury, NY all of this was explained. What did we receive? A van that could not pass inspection. A van that was found to have new brake shoes over rusted brakes. An inspection company by the name of AIM, Alliance Inspection Management, RECOMMENDED by Authorized Resources Ltd., that seemed to miss all that was obvious to the mechanics we had to take the van to after it broke down the first time we took it out.
We highly recommend never buying a van from Authorized Resources Ltd. of Westbury or take the word of Alliance Inspection Management unless you want to spend a couple of thousand extra on a vehicle.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
