I was skeptical at first, but became a believer over the course of 2 months for my digestive issues. There's something about the age-old herbs. Archana is very assertive, but she really knows what she is talking about. It has been a wonderful cultural experience as well, and she has opened my eyes to new foods and healthier lifestyles. I highly recommend ayurvedic treatment for digestive issues.

I had Really Bad Herniated disc ,Which resulted in sciatica and Piriformis syndrome. I went to Chiropractor, Physiotherapist Accupunturist and also had Steroid shots. But Non of these helped. Finally thought of giving Ayutherapy a try and I am so glad I did. Dr.Rao is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. After Initial consultation of 90 min she gave me entire treatment plan. I went with her recommendation of full course of Panchkarma Treatments with all the different Ayurvedic herbs to manage pain. It was not instant result but Dr.Rao asked me to be patient & trust the process. Slowly I started to see the result. I went to Ayutherapy with pain lever anywhere between 8 to 9 with 10 being maximum pain. Today I am happy to report I am mostly in the the range of 0 to 2. If you are someone like me who has chronic pain I would highly recommend a visit Ayutherapy. Ayurveda as we mostly know is natural and has no long term side effect . Trust the process.

I would highly recommend this place for Ayurvedic treatment and massages. I was having lower back pain issues and tried so many different treatments from various places but nothing worked. Dr. Archana helped me with massages and kati basthi treatment my lower back pain has competed healed. I can't thank enough to Dr. Archana for helping me out. She is very understanding and explains us all her treatments very well. She is very helpful and kind.

I went through some tough time that caused me lots of pressure, lack of sleep, and not feeling good in my body. The first Marks and Shirodha session I did here brought back calmness of my mind, relaxation of my body and ability to sleep.

Archana was a great help for my frozen shoulder recovery .. her diet plan / meds/helped reducing inflammation. And Ayurvedic massages helped with much better arm movement.
It was a big relief just in two massages.

I consulted with Dr. Rao for various digestive issues I was suffering from. Abdominal bloating, intestinal motility issues, severe food intolerances and hypothyroidism. She recommended at home Panchakarma and I immediately accepted. She was meticulous, followed up with me every day and and adapted the process throughout to suit my needs. Additionally she prescribed various herbs and recommended life style changes. To be honest, I was not 100% complaint. The results however have been excellent. I will continue consulting with Dr. Rao and I have all the confidence that I will attain more

I really wanted to like Archana Rao's ("Rao") services, but I absolutely cannot endorse them. This experience was a huge disappointment, and a waste of a lot of money.
I suffer from an autoimmune disorder for which western medicine has no answers.
On our first meeting, Rao threw a lot of information at me, which I quickly jotted down on paper. She sold me some ayurvedic medicine, told me to order some online, and dictated a list of things I should eat. During that meeting, Rao suggested I undergo a Panchakarma. -If I understand it correctly, it is a 4 part cleanse consisting of throwing up, internal oleation, external oleation, and finally, enemas. - Luckily, she only suggested the last three, for which she charged $500 each. I was desperate enough for a change in my condition; so, I went home having paid over $1700 for the Panchakarma, herbs she sold me, and her discounted consultation fee.
She emphasized that I needed to follow the instructions she would send me to the 't.' The instructions seemed to be from some other institution. When I asked her (via text) about steps discussed in the instructions, she told me to not worry about them, which I found confusing. I didn't know what to follow and what to ignore.
I started the internal oleation on a Friday. Every evening she would text me the amount of medicated ghee to take (which she had sold to me during our first meeting). By Saturday morning I broke out in a horrible rash. I looked like I rolled around in Poison Ivy. I texted her immediately. I did not get a response until 11 pm that night. While I was desperately looking for a reason, I noticed that some of the medication she had sold me was expired by over 6 months. When she finally responded, she advised to stop taking any medicated ghee (I had to purchase my own instead), and to stop taking the expired medication. -$500 for five days of two to three text messages, and a lot of confusion.
When I met her for the external oleation, she sold me more medicine, and some oil to take care of my rash. Nothing worked. The oil contained turmeric and colored everything it touched yellow, but did nothing to alleviate the rash. To this day, I have scars from it. She also changed her mind on the foods I should eat, so all the foods I had been buying and eating, I should now not eat anymore. However, I can say that the massages were good, and for the external oleation, she definitely earned the $500.
I was feeling a bit jerked around, since Rao would tell me to take one thing one day, and then tell me never to take it the next day. The things she had me order were for symptoms I haven't experience in years, which I had told her during our first meeting. These medications now sit unused on my counter. After the first day of external oleation, Rao suggested I should start the Panchakarma all over, including the throw-up part. Of course, there was a charge of $500. In hint-sight, luckily, my schedule did not allow for it.
On my last day of external oleation, she kept saying that she is now "closing up" with me. I thought, "Oh, I guess I am on my own with the enemas". I was right. She gave me all the supplies (short of one day), gave me hand written instructions on how to cook the herbs, and emphasized how important it was I do it right. She gave me a hug goodbye and wished me good luck. Not with one word did she say to contact her with any questions. Had I known in advance, I would not have paid $500 for that. That's a huge mark up for an enema bag and some herbs.
I have never had an enema before this; the enemas consisted of two parts. One part, I believe, went well, the other part was a catastrophe. Three days into it, to my surprise, I got a text from Rao asking me about the enemas. I told her how it was going. Her response was "Oh, ok." Nothing else.
We had scheduled a follow up, since she had told me that she expected me to be her patient for 6- 12 months to deal with my disease, which she was confident she could cure. Just before the follow-up she let me know she didn't have time, and needed to reschedule. I let her know that I wasn't coming back; that I was a dissatisfied customer. Her initial reaction was apologetic and she offered a refund. The following day, when I confirmed that I was not coming back at all, she became accusatory, blaming me for not telling her that the enemas were not going well, and thereby justifying not giving any refund (she had already dropped it to $150 in a previous text). Obviously, her claim is not true, I still have her "oh, ok" response to my negative status update.
In addition to the disappointment with the services provided, it is sad to see her reaction. I assume that her business must not be going so well. Having had my experience with her services, it is not a surprise. My condition has not improved at all, but I believe that Ayurveda can help, I just have to be more careful in choosing a qualified, caring practitioner.

I recently received Pancahkarma treatment from Dr Rao and it was amazing. It's almost feel like I got a new life. I have more energy, concentration, clarity and overall I feel healthy. She explains the root cause of the issue and makes you understand the reason for your illness. She gave me a personalized diet plan as per my constitution. I have been seeing Dr Rao for almost 3 years now and can't say enough good things about her treatment. I also received pre natal and Post natal massage from her which always left me feeling relaxed and made my pregnancy most enjoyable time for me. I have recommended her to my sister who has come from another state to receive her panchakarma treatment.
