Kandy was amazing! It's been a long time since I've done my nails and the last time I did them I was not happy but Kandy did an amazing job. I love my nails and I will definitely be coming back to see her! Just big love all around

Don't come in without an appointment. Admittedly .. I came in 30 minutes after they opened. I was told that I'd have a 20 minute wait. An hour and a half later, I am still in the lobby.
They have no idea how to manage guests. After an hour of waiting, They said it's because they had many people coming in for appointments. If they had appointments coming in, they should have factored that into the wait time that they told me. I would have run my other errands and come back.
Also, be careful with who assign to you. They let people with terrible skills "practice" and they leave you with streaky nails or a design you didn't ask for. I don't know why I keep coming back here. The only times the experience is good is if you book a specific person for a specific time. No ... wait ... a girl in the lobby did exactly that and was told the person she booked wasn't working that day so she was put in the system like a walk in. Terrible management. I won't even get into the language barrier when asking for something specific.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Chyna W.Houston, TX01Apr 19, 2024
This will be last time coming to Azulene. More times than not I walk in hopeful that they'll get it right but leave disappointed and frustrated at the service and lack of attention to detail for the premium prices they charge.
In this last visit, I went in for an essential pedicure with white gel polish and a manicure with dip nails in a natural color. During my manicure, the stylist rushed my entire service, to which I had to remind her to cut my cuticles and paint the full size of my nail. She barely exfoliated my skin or used any of the products that came with the package.
Then, I was handed off to another stylist for my manicure. I wanted a basic almond shape with dip powder, with a French tip and chrome finish. I even had a reference image. What I'm walking out with looks nothing like it. Firstly, this stylist starts cutting my nails before asking me anything. I try to stop her and explain how I want it done, but she insisted I let her do it her way. Then she proceeds to buff my nail down with the drill and was way too rough. I was visably in pain and couldn't bare it. So, I settled for a manicure with something on top for the strength of my nails just to make it through the night without breaking my natural nails I worked so hard to grow.
For a rushed service, lack of attention to detail, and clearly no regard for the clients need, I paid $109.00 of my hard earned cash, and yes, because I still believe in doing the right thing, I left a tip. But this is the absolutely last straw at Azulene. The economy is too rough to pay this much for services you're repeatedly dissatisfied with.
Also, I was getting my nails done for a graduation photoshoot the next day, so now I will have to find another salon to try and fix this.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danielle D.High Springs, FL031Apr 17, 2023
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! THIEVES
I wish I could leave a Zero. My husband told my daughter she could have a pedi before going shopping as we had errands to run. My 17 year old daughter abd my Credit Card went off as a walk in for what was supposed to be a simple "as advertised on their website" a Deluxe Pedi $40. We got to the car and my daughter called me in tears apologizing over and over again. Finally, she says, "Mom I am so sorry but I just got robbed by the pedicure place! Dad is going to kill me!" I asked how much and she said they charged her $127.75 for what was supposed to be a $40 pedicure! WTF? And that included a $20 tip. I handed the phone to my husband to help her while I ran inside Walmart to pick something up.
The highest pedi on their website included a private room and wine for $95. I know she didn't get that pedicure! So finally she calms down and says to my husband, then proceeds to tell my husband they started adding all these things and she kept saying no she just wanted the $40 pedicure with what it and a regular pedicure came with and her nails painted. But her tech wouldn't stop and kept acting like they didn't understand English very well.
So I told he told her to take the receipt and go back inside to the girl at the counter and explain the situation. She texted back a minute later saying, the girl at the counter would get someone for her to talk to and that, "This happens all the time." So we all waited.
For nothing, the person my daughter spoke to was the manager and he told her too bad, so sad no can help you! So now I am calling my credit card company to have the charges rescinded for fraud, especially after reading all these reviews of people having charges stacked on without being asked first. Yesterday, I would have been more than happy to pay the $40 plus tip. But now I'm pissed. Especially when she tried to work with the business. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THEIVES!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sarah A.Port St. Lucie, FL042Nov 5, 2023
I wish leaving a zero star review was possible. I personally think that my hands would look better if I had cut off my fingers than with this full set. When she asked what length I wanted, I responded with "not too long" and she proceeded to cut the entire tip off leaving me with tiny nubs. Every single nail is a different length as well, and it is obvious to anyone that this is a horribly done set. I will never ever succumb myself to such a horrible place ever again.

My experience in this salon is the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. The people were nice, but did not listen to the requests that I made. I had issues with my toenails being polished one color and when I pointed out that the color was incorrect, the tech dismissed me and told me it was correct. I had to physically put the color choices on top of my toes and show her that the color was incorrect and that it was labeled incorrectly on the bottle. Then the tech completing my nails shaped them crooked and when I pointed it out she told me she would fix it and didn't. I asked for a cat eye polish and she deliberately ignored my request. After being there for three hours without being satisfied, no one would own up to the mistakes. The ambiance was amazing (5 stars) but the lack of listening to the customer (AKA customer service which I would rate 1 star) should have been better. I now am leaving to go to a new salon that will listen to my requests to make me happy for my purchase.

I went with my mom and my sister for pedicure.
The people in front were nice and accommodating but people that was actually doing the pedicure was rude. The pedicure itself s*cks. My length of my toenails didn't match, the left was longer than my right. The manicure they use was clumping up. I tried explaining to the person what I want removed coz he didnt understand me so i just gave up. My biggest thing is how rude they were. Both me and my sister have the same problem. My mom's attendant was good thus the one star. I would never evr go back to that place, ever.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Rose A.Jacksonville, FL23364Aug 17, 2023

Price gauging and sneaky price raises at the end. If you do want to go, ensure you clarify prices of everything-ESPECIALLY when they offer you a scented scrub but don't mention it costs $35 extra. Walked out of there paying over $150 for a mani/pedi. Beware.
Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Oct 8, 2022Previous reviewThis place advertises one price but then pulls a bait and switch and charges you another. Manicure and pedicure cost over $150. I went with a couple of other friends and we all got charged the same amount. Not sure why they advertise a price and then charge a different amount. Poor business for a small town. They'll lose the small any of clientele in this town and we'll go down fast. I do not recommend this to anybody.

My husband got me a gift card here, I had the diamond tip facial and was very pleased ! Amy was my aesthetician and did a thorough job leaving my skin feeling baby smooth after. The bed was heated, private room with dim lighting and relaxing music. I'll def be back
