I have been to this salon twice now and I am very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness, the quality of the services I have received and the customer service. Competitive pricing and huge selection of colors and products. Scheduling is easy too. Give it a try!

Don't do it. This is the WORST nail salon in Johnson County. They are so pathetic and childish they will block you on social media if you leave anything less than a perfect review. There are tons of local people who have reported this business for safety and health concerns. They have also been reported to the BBB numerous times to which they do not respond. Literally a trash business. They don't properly hire or properly train their very rude staff, that love to talk crap about clients and other employees while working on clients. Very dirty place. It appears clean but if you watch them you can see how dirty the place is. They allowed a child with her shoes on to jump around in one of the soaking tubs then sat a client there without cleaning it first. Absolutely floored me to say the least.
Go to Beloved nails they are beyond phenomenal with quality and service. They make you feel welcomed and heard. My first visit at beloved was to get what baby nails ruined removed and even the staff at beloved couldn't believe I had these atrocious nails done at a salon. I am STILL hurting physically from the disaster they did to my nails at B.A.B.Y nails. My nails have been breaking, peeling, chilling and cracking for months since they destroyed them. Terrible business that should be shut down. They don't deserve 1 star.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 6, 2023Previous reviewETA: 06/06/23 - finally made it in to a new salon to get my nails removed they were hurting soo bad because they were lifting horribly. The nail tech who was phenomenal told me they in fact, did not use black acrylic powder like I asked them to and like they told me they were. They actually used dip powder, which is why they were lifting so bad already. They started lifting within a week of having them. I just hadn't made it anywhere to get them off. The first thing he asked me when he looked at my nails was "who did these?" I know without a doubt in my mind. He was asking because he thought they were done at home by some amateur. Although, I know plenty of people who do theirs at home that would've done a whole lot better of a job.
Terrible beyond words. I give up. I don't know how this place is still in business with all the negative reviews on Google. I gave them 3-4 chances with different techs and I am done. Each time it gets worse.
I have a detailed review pinned on my profile. (See link below)
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Also they will tell you "come back in we'll fix it for you!" Don't be fooled it'll be just as bad in other ways if not worse. They won't offer refunds, you'll have dispute with your bank to get your money back. Wish I could have my 2 hours back as well. As a very busy mom of two who NEVER pampers herself to the point I haven't had my nails done in over a year, I get my hair cut maybe 1 time every 3 years, etc. I don't have a spare 2 hrs often. So no! I can NOT come back in for you to fix this monstrosity with another. Also, upon comparing with other local mama's this place is overpriced, especially for the crap job they do. 3+ techs later still won't go back.

ETA: this is NOT polish or dip poweder on my skin, it's acrylic. - Emma P.Lenexa, KS013Apr 10, 2024
I have been going here since this place has opened and I have always loved them and loved the work they've done but I left for college in august and haven't been in since. I have always gotten acrylics. I recently decided to start growing out my natural nails, so that I wouldn't be paying so much for acrylics and I told the front desk lady that when I checked in. I don't remember the last time I didn't get acrylics so I will admit I did not know exactly what I was asking for but the woman that checked me in told me to get dip. Today, I went in for the first time since August and I got a manicure, my nails shaped, a French dip, and I had one extension put on a nail that broke so that they would all be the same length. In the past, getting a full set of acrylics was $72 and according to friends that still go there and get acrylics, the price is still $72. Today, while getting my nails done, I had originally thought about getting chrome but made it clear to the man doing my nails that I did not want that. I also mentioned that I was trying to save money and was trying to grow out my nails so I wasn't going to be getting acrylics but that I didn't know exactly what to ask for and he recommended dip. Throughout the process, he asked if I wanted to do the chrome and said that "it would be cute"; however, when I asked about the price difference, he said that chrome would be $12 and without chrome it would be $72. This seemed very high to me considering I paid $72 for an entire set of new acrylics in the past, so I asked a friend how much she has paid recently for a full set of acrylics and she also said $72. After I had paid, I went to my car, called my friend, thought about it for a while and eventually decided to go back in and ask for a price breakdown. When I asked why the price was so high, I was bombarded by 3 nail techs saying that what I paid was correct and that what I was looking at on the website was incorrect because they "just haven't changed it yet". The man that did my nails stood up and said "you already asked me about this and I already told you that it was $72, so what's the problem?" I told him that the comparison of what I received compared to what I paid as well as what I have paid for a full new set felt like too much. I was again bombarded by 3 nail techs basically telling me that I was wrong and they were right and there was nothing I can do about it so I left because they charge for taking it off as well. After going to and fully supporting this business for almost 3 years, this makes me very sad and disappointed. I have made so many connections with the nail techs there, spent countless hours there, refused to go anywhere else, and I have referred them to literally everyone I know to go see them because of the work that they used to do. I have decided that I unfortunately will not be going back there after the way I was treated today and the work that I got done... so if anyone knows of any good nail techs in the area, please let me know.

I have been going to baby nails for 3 years now and my friend had Alex n he hurt her she was bleeding and did a bad job. Now today I went in and he was sarcastic and rude. I walked out. terrible attitudes and talking smack about their clients. Another guy also was rude
Unsatisfied customer. They don't like white people I guess. WLMHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin V.Olathe, KS882Feb 22, 2024
Overall I really like BABY. They run on time, I've never had to wait. Here's my one complaint: I've scheduled 2-3x now with a particular tech only to show up for my appointment and it be with someone else. It happened when I scheduled online so I called to schedule the appointment and it happened again. The tech I scheduled with most recently was with another customer so it would have only been putting myself out to reschedule. I drive past multiple nail salons and about 15-20 minutes on the highway to get there on my day off work so it's an annoying occurrence. Again though, the salon itself is nice and I've liked most the techs I've had.

Another great experience with a different technician! Kevin took my dip off and gave me some gel nails. He didn't rush the appointment, paid close attention to details, and didn't make my nails paper thin while removing the dip. I came to get my nails done for my trip to France and he took my nails from a bright summery yellow to, my favorite, Bubble Bath by OPI I forgot to take a picture of just my nails but found one from France that showed them a little. Thank you, Kevin!

They use plastic liners and disposable tubes for the jets in the pedicure chairs. Very creative and hygienic, I haven't seen a salon do this before. Emma paid attention to detail in my pedicure which I really appreciated. Everything was top-notch here and I will definitely be returning for my next pedicure :)

I wouldn't recommend baby nails. I have gone for a pedicure twice and they were super inconsistent, plus within a month they had raised the prices. My toe nails chipped quickly & they didn't even get my calluses or in grown toe nail. I have also gone to get dip with tips on my fingers and they didn't even last 2 weeks.

Less than 24 hours after a $50 dip manicure it's chipped and cracked, management and owner couldn't even bother to call back. They look down on walk-ins. Decided to give them a second chance after my first poor experience when they opened, and already regret. Take your money elsewhere

I am excited for a new nail salon in Lenexa. I scheduled a mani/pedi for a friend and I over the phone - totally easy to do and we got text confirmation as well. We didn't have to wait when we got in. It was an early weekday afternoon, so it wasn't busy but there was a steady flow of people. I imagine service is going to pick up fast here.
The salon is beautiful. It's bright, modern, clean and airy - you don't feel like you're squeezed in with a ton of people if it's busy. General sanitation and COVID precautions - They use plastic liners in the pedicure chairs and there are disposable jets. There are touchless sensors on the soap, water, trash cans, etc. I was told the staff has been vaccinated and all were wearing masks. UV lights come on at night to clean the air and sanitize the rooms.
My mani and pedi were done by two different people, but they both turned out great. I had good conversation with both - friendly, funny, didn't feel forced. I got dip on my nails with a gel design and top coat. It turned out really pretty and she did a great job. Also the citrus + green tea lotion they use smells amazing. Complimentary water, soda, or wine too! I brought my own coffee, but definitely something to remember! I will definitely be back again.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
