B & B Overhead Door

Our garage door stopped working so went to Yelp for some Help! B&B got good reviews and is close by so I gave them a call.

Bob came out within a couple of hours and diagnosed the problem. Our door opener needed to be replaced so he quickly ordered and was able to install it the next morning. I can't believe how quick he was. We literally have a new opener less than 24 hours after it broke. He was polite, professional and super to deal with.

I would not hesitate to call him for any future garage door needs.

Called and they were there within an hour. Able to create a fix despite awkward situation with the condition of the door.

Came in to visit my mother in Bay Village and found her garage door opener completely bit the dust. She'd been trying to get it fixed correctly for about 2 years. Another vendor had already cheated her out of $200 to replace the rollers --- something Bob said should be about $50.

Called Bob from his Yelp reviews. Bob is legit. He knows his business and he is a professional. He was upfront honest in all his dealings with both me and my mom. He called me back, quickly worked me into an already full schedule, and was really communicative the whole time.

He came out when he said he would. He completely replaced the entire mechanism from how it was attached to the wiring. He did it for a bit more than the cost of the roller cheater that scammed for my mom. This fix is wonderful, she can open the door from the beginning of her driveway which is nearly a basketball court in length. She has two new clickers and an outdoor entry.

He cleaned up both from his work and the old stuff he demolished. MOREOVER, he warranties his work for three years. The mark of a real pro.

So, this guy is everything his reviews say. Thanks, Bob, really glad I called you.

Called on Saturday afternoon, told me he would be over in the morning. Replaced both springs in 20 minutes, would call him again. Please support local businesses!

Called B&B Wednesday afternoon with garage door problems. He came by early Wednesday evening, showed me what was wrong and what the necessary repairs would be. Set up an appointment for Thursday. They showed up a bit earlier than expected, which was fine. Long story short, couldn't be happier with the service!! Professional, courteous and timely! Wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Call B&B to repair my garage door opener was not opening the door fully and stopping half way open. He came out and said that I needed all new rollers and hinges (not needed to repair issue). He was out for a little over an hour and charged me over $300 and still did not correct the issue I was calling about as the door still did not open. He came out again and said that I needed to get a new opener and new spring as well. Another at least $400 extra to repair! NO WAY!

I called another repair service immediately and they came out and made a minor adjustment to my genie opener and tighten the main spring. FIXED! He only charged $75!! He said that the repair done by B&B should not have been more than $125 in total!

When I confronted B&B about the overcharge and not fixing the problem, he became very belligerant and threatened to take me to court!

STAY AWAY!

It is a pleasure to deal with a LOCAL business that does a fantastic job. They were on time, they did a great job at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY recommend them.

Saturday evening a torsion spring on my garage door broke, Sunday morning I called B&B, and Sunday around noon it was fixed. I'd always recommend getting 2-3 quotes before having any work done where you're either not familiar with pricing or are not very familiar with who is doing the work. After talking with Bob, I was confident things were going to be done correctly and that pricing would be fair for the work done. At a minimum, including B&B as one of the companies you talk to before having any garage door repair work done. They'll do good work...and you'll be supporting an established local small business.

Came out to my place same day, and fixed my garage door. Very affordable and informative. Bob told me that my problem was very quick and inexpensive to fix, and did not try to turn it into a bigger, more expensive problem, which I appreciate because I don't know anything about garage doors!

He came out because of a home warranty a few years ago. He sid a good job but he told me I needed additional items that were not covered buy the warranty. I purchased them. I recommended a friend to him and she bought one. Then a month or so ago he's went out and she called Bob to I stall a new one. Upon installation it had issues. He re adjusted it and put in a new battery
She paid him and thought everything was ok. Then the door started doing the same thing that it was when he installed it. She called him and he was supposed to come out and never showed. She called the number on the card and some man answers an said it was the wrong number. She called back and for the same response. I called the number and the name told me the same thing. He said it was a roll over number for another company and they had just got new service. I emailed B & B and was told the number was ok and he was going to call. She called him again and as of the date of this post he still is making empty promises. I did have a problem with my remote and he was supposed to come and see when I bought mine and he never showed. I am my friend have come to this conclusion. If there is no money involved Bob is not showing up.
