So many wines to choose from! Live music and a dance floor to enjoy yourself. The back alley cheese shop will deliver if you get hungry! We had a great time!

2nd time here and it was great as usual. This is the place you go for your 'cheese fix'
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 29, 2023Previous reviewFirst time here and it was good! We each ordered a really good dish (can't recall name of it, whoops!) with all sorts of cheese and it was so good. It was actually a bit rich for me, so my husband had his plus 1/2 of mine (he was a happy camper) If you're a wine drinker, this is your place! We don't drink, but we love good food and this place delivers! Nice to have such a cool place here in town.

Excellent service, fun crowd and good music. A very fun evening. I just wish they served whiskey too. I had a wonderful time there.

Everything about Back Alley Wine Bar has been amazing!!!
I can count on two hands how many times I've been there and not once have I had a bad experience.
The staff are very professional, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about their wine selections.
I like the fact that I was able to experience a few samples on some of their wines, with no hesitation from our waitress.
This is one of my Hideaway places that I would go to very cozy comfortable and there's always live music.
And they are connected to a cheese store.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 21, 2022
It is definitely in the alley behind everything. The nice bar owner let us go through his bar though and it was raining so it was nice.
The atmosphere was comfy and laid back. A couple was playing music randomly at a table and singing and it really made it a comfortable and home relaxing time. Made me think of Lukenbach Texas where people pick and play music randomly throughout the day.
The wines were good and you got $5 off a bottle of you purchased a flight. The employees were chatty enough, outgoing and welcoming and laid back. It was nice.
The Arizona tasting was good. I'm a RED drinker usually and there was only 1 taste I really didn't like. The taste came w olives too which was different. Would definitely recommend and return when I'm back in the area.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2021
Cute little place tucked in the side of an alley- but not in a creepy way.
Seems to be woman owned, which I'm all for.
Very friendly service!
They have tables and a bar to sit at, clean restrooms. Live music can get pretty loud because the place is kinda small, but it's a fun atmosphere. When the music is not going, they have trivial pursuit at each table.
Wine flights are actually a good price here, not an overpriced gimmick. The equivalent in size and price to a regular wine glass.
Wine options are all good, no cheap stuff but all reasonably priced.
They do have a charcuterie board for $15 but otherwise no food, you can bring in your own though
Will definitely return! Highly recommendHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Judi B.Newark, DE015Jan 1, 2024
We love the back alley wine bar. Great live music almost nightly -and no cover charge! They also offer beer for those who aren't in the wine scene.

The service and wine selection is great and they have live music almost every night. We came on a Tuesday for open mic night and heard an acoustic guitarist who was very good and provided a nice backdrop for chatting with new friends. My husband tried a flight of 3 red wines and I had a single glass of white which was excellent and served at the perfect temperature. They only have one food item - a charcuterie board, but you can bring food in, and on Thursdays pizza can be ordered from Limoncello's next door.

For a crazy busy night (Court House Christmas lighting) the staff kicked into high gear with great service, unique and tasty food offerings and the wine was delicious.
