I called Balanced Medical after a friend was raving about his experience on TRT. I was skeptical at first but I've had really good results. My energy level improved immediately and I noticed my mood got much better, even though I'm the type that's always in a good mood to begin with. I do little things like start talking to random strangers just walking down the street.

I had plateaued in the gym for years. After only a month on TRT, I started adding weight to the bar. I'm a little over a year into the treatment and I've had consistent gains to the point where people comment when I lift. I'm 42 and I'm outperforming the 20 year old's. My body also doesn't store fat like it used to. I feel like I can pig out (on the right types of food, not cake or junk food) and it all goes to lean muscle.

I didn't think I had any libido issues before but that has improved as well. I won't go into details but it's just better in every way. The TRT would be worth it for this reason alone.

In my opinion the price is reasonable and it's well worth it.

Unprofessional doctors. They are lying about provided services via phone. The information on website is not accurate. They don't provide specific treatment. I made an appointment and after an hour and half of waiting and taking blood test, the doctor just said, "no, we don't do this kind of treatment", that I was signed for visit.

I heard about this practice and decided to check it out. Glad I did. NP Larisa was easy to talk to about my medical history and weight loss concerns. Staff associate Adriana assisted with the necessary instructions for my at-home injection instructions/care. I really need help losing weight and I've chosen Balanced Medical Solutions to guide me. So far, so good. But I'm also incorporating exercise and eating healthier.
I follow up with NP Larisa next month. Give them a call and arrange for a consultation. Check their website as they offer various medical services. Convenient East Bay location. Clean, sanitary environment. Friendly, professional staff.

The front staff and their own "call center" is a chain, and are pitifully ignorant of what this pill mill is serving. As well as disorganized. I had to call them several times because they were communicating not at all. I asked over and over, do you use BioTe brand pellets. "Oh, yes." The non physician owner/manger said it's "bio identical", so it's the same pellet. It is NOT. Women MDs need stamina. I'm in a hospital all day. I need this medicine. I paid $799 and didn't get BioTe because of this shoddy operation. The PA told me Russian medical school was "as good as the US" and that getting her PA "was easier". Why did I need to hear this? Weird. I was obviously dissatisfied and I heard this crap staff and PA laughing about me. So they are jerks who need thicker walls in this like of an establishment. I am new in the area and picked the worst place obviously. Looking for better treatment options obviously.

BREAK THROUGH IN STEM CELLS FOR USA?

first had stem cell treatment in Tijuana about 2010...was not available here.
Then about 8 years ago at Steadman Clinic in Vail so not my first rodeo.

Was about ready to follow Mel Gibson to Panama after the Joe Rogan bit as I wanted mesenchymal cells; not just like my own before. Then found these guys offer it and at 1/2 the price of Panama, Mexico. etc. and it's USA!

Did it work? Too early to tell just had it yesterday----but i can say--

Facility, care, ease of appointment etc., was better than I expected--well run---no high-pressure stuff and they do know what they are doing. Impressive.

This is my first choice now. IF you are going to try this approach...no need to go another place.

Will follow up with results in a few months. In the past it has worked and allowed me to keep running at a competitive level so see no reason this will not be even better

I think the office staff are very welcoming and seem to be attentive to the patients. I can't say the same about the PA. She was abrupt, I felt rushed and that she whisked in and out of the room never paying attention to both my prefilled form or what I had to say only to have the "closer" come in with prices and "the program". Maybe others have had better experiences, I sure didn't. I felt like I was being persuaded to spend $1200 for three months and when I saw the program, I realized it was NOT a customized tailored program as I was told but rather a generic program they hand out. Just didn't get a good vibe that my health was the primary concern, but signing up for a program was.

I can say the team and the guy practitioner Adrian who is working at night is the best speciall Adriana for me is the best. She has a very good bedside manner and very charismatic. Thank you guys!

I have been a Kaiser member my whole life and do believe they deliver quality Healthcare. However, they are bound by their large systemic and beauracratic parameters, while the team at Balanced Medical Solutions has access to rapidly evolving medicine and cutting edge technology to deliver real results.

There are certain things in life you should always invest in - your life and wellness should be at the top of that list. When you go see Adrian expect to spend some cash because breakthrough medical treatments aren't cheap. But the cost is well worth it to expect what matters, which is RESULTS. I speak from experience as a living testament.

Balanced Medical Solutions does not have you or your health in their best interest. What is? $$$.

At first they seemed like a caring clinic, but after spending a bit of cash there I realized that they not only just wanted me for my money, but that they also don't know what they're doing. They lied to my face so they could sell me a prescription to "make me feel better." Before buying the prescription, they told me that if this specific medication was not helping me feel better, that we would look at other options. I kid you not I come in a few weeks later for another blood test and explained to them that I was getting severe side effects from this medication and wanted to begin something else. You know what they did? They said to keep taking this and that they wouldn't offer TRT for someone my age. Before buying the prescription$$ they told me the exact opposite. Sounds like a money grab to me.

They also offered me B12 shots after the first visit without even having my lab results which means that they're trying to sell you potentially non-needed medication just to make a buck. They were trying to tell me that the B12 shots would increase my energy etc. and while it could, I don't think that's a good first protocol to give someone and makes it seem like the clinic lacks knowledge. I declined and said that I wanted other options.

Their staff do not even know how to correctly dose the medication they prescribe you and it's insanely dangerous. Multiple staff member at this place gave me different instructions on how to dose my medication. The first guy told me to take an 0.5mg of Anastrozole (an estrogen blocker) once a week. Then when receiving my medication the front desk told me to take it twice per week. It was very confusing and the side effects/harm that can occur from a overkill dosage of an estrogen blocker is severe. It's disgusting that their staff members don't know anything about how to properly medicate patients.

While I was on the medication they didn't once contact me to see how I was doing. How I was feeling? Nope. The one time they did contact me? Was for a refill!!!! Meaning they only got in contact with me to fish more $$$ out of me!

One staff member that I would like to mention is the PA. She was disgustingly bad. Don't know how she is even allowed to practice medicine. She doesn't listen to your symptoms or even look at your test results. I realized that I knew more about hormonal replacement than she did by just having a back and forth conversation with her. I then kindly disagreed with her and she did not take it well. She told me she would have to "see" and said that I needed to see a separate doctor that they referred me to. She then quickly ended the conversation, ran out of the room and sent in someone else to try and collect payment from me. Disgusting practices.

As stated before, she mentioned I "needed" to visit their partnered doctor to talk to him before they would even discuss my lab results with me. I agreed at first but then they said I had to visit a doctors office downstairs (Dr. Robert Rowley, family medicine) and wanted to charge me another $90 for the visit!!! What??? Why would I need to go somewhere else to talk to another doctor if I'm visiting THIS clinic??? You know why? Because he owns this clinic. Dr. Robert Rowley owns Balanced Health Medicine and I know this because his name is on my prescription bottles from them. Check his yelp page... he has bad reviews.

Basically they kept sending me back and forth spending money left and right and I just wanted to feel better mentally and physically. They acted like I was a joke and didn't care about me one bit. I've already contacted Chase to try and get my money back, but I think it's a lost cause at this point.

I understand that there is a hesitancy when treating someone just shy of their 20s with low testosterone symptoms, but they did it in a manner that was completely unprofessional and unethical.

It was clear that they did not care about me, but instead, were taking advantage of me.

The clinic I am now with is much better, caring, cheaper and is entirely over the phone. If you're considering this place, please look into telemedicine clinics as they actually know what they're doing and how to treat a patient.

STAY AWAY! If anything, try out some telemedicine clinics, they are so so so much better than this joke of a clinic.

If I could leave zero stars for first impressions I would do so. I had a scheduled appointment for today that was confirmed via email AND text message for 9:15 am. It is now 10:00 am and no one from Balanced Medical Solutions has called me for my SCHEDULED phone interview. If this is any indication of how they run their business - I'm glad to find out now rather than later. What a waste of my precious time that I cannot get back. This place is a SORRY JOKE. No excuse good enough for treating potential clients this way.

Edit****So after posting my review here and on social media I captured the attention of Santos who called and left me a message telling me that because I had "rescheduled" my appointment he didn't receive it until late. And they were offering me a 25% discount to assist me with my "pressing issues." Or something of the similar. First of all...I scheduled my first appointment at 7:43 am before realizing I had a conflict in schedule. Immediately, I rescheduled at 8:19 am. My "rescheduled" appointment was immediately confirmed by Balanced Medical Solutions as evidenced by numerous emails and text messages. So please, don't put this back on me and my rescheduling-which by the way, was done as a courtesy to YOU. I could have done what you did - and blow off the appointment, waste your time, and seek services elsewhere.
