      Owner ruined a relationship. I had been going to them for years. She treated me like I was trying to rip her off. She offered a free groom once her hair grows back, but no thank you. I tipped her too.

      Came by for a haircut and a groom. Barks N Bubbles takes reservations online, by phone and text which is very conviennent! They were able to get us in same day with a lot of other places booked up, so making an appointment was very easy and painless. They also accept text ahead of vaccination records to help speed up the sign up process.

      Our pup was treated very nicely and came out looking very handsome with a bandana! He was calm and wasn't scare when we came to pick him up, and seemed like the staff at Barks N Bubbles made him very comfortable for his first groom.

      The staff listened to what we wanted and did a great job fixing a poorly done home cut.

      I'm really disappointed to leave this review, as I had high hopes - but it was not to be.

      This review isn't for the grooming, as we didn't get that far... It's for having a peek into how my dog was treated when one of the employees failed to realize I was right behind him.

      My pup and I just relocated to the area. It's been a seriously tough year for both of us... There's been lots of loss and change. My pup lost his companion and his pack, and is an entirely new/unfamiliar situation.

      He was in need of a bath, a face clean-up, pad clean up... Nothing major. This place is conveniently located. I hadn't checked the ratings, as he wasn't going in for a cut, as he typically does, and has, once every two months, for the last 7 years.

      So, we arrive for his 2:00 appointment. Shortly after our arrival, I hear a voice saying we will be right with you... A woman emerges, and noticed that my pup was a little nervous... She instructs me to put him down, and to let him hang for a minute... At this point - nothing seemed out of the ordinary... We filled out the form, talked about the services I was interested in - and within a few minutes, I was handing her my pup.

      When she took him to the back, he began to cry and bark - almost like a panic. I was taken aback.... He'd NEVER done that before... I said to the woman that he should settle down after I left. She asked me how much time I had, and told me that they'd call me as soon as he was done. As I left, it occurred to me that perhaps it was too much, too soon. My mistake. I should have pulled the plug then. I headed home, with the intent to call and check up on him as soon as I arrived. And - I did. When I called, I could hear him screaming in the back. I told her I was on my way to get him - as, again - that had NEVER happened before...

      The place is two minutes from my home. I could hear him from out front as I exited my car. I was shocked. I opened the door and walked in. The woman put her hand up, as to say wait a minute, as she was on the phone. I walked over to the side of the desk, and listened to my pup in despair. It was clearly too much for him. As I waited, and looked into the back, one of the employees YELLED at my dog, "BE QUIET" - and at that point, it became too much for ME. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. He clearly didn't realize I was standing right there - not to mention that he was yelling at MY dog... I was STUNNED...! Who does that?? I don't even yell at my dog like that!! I quipped back - "hey, do NOT yell at my dog" - and the woman at the front desk shot me a look to kill... I cared not.

      I get that he was loud - I get that she was on the phone - but I also expect people who handle dogs to be empathetic to the dog's behavior. He wasn't snapping or growling at other dogs - he was crying... He was FREAKED out and was in distress... I also expect people who handle dogs to able to handle themselves... and in a manner that is acceptable. THAT was not.

      I will not be back. Not even when we're settled in, and my pup is more comfortable and secure... What I saw/heard will never EVER be OK, nor sit well with me....

      Horribly disappointing.

      I've been going here for the past year and love it! First of all, I have a VERY hyper labradoodle who they take great care of with grooming, cut, and baths. My pup loves going there and doesn't get scared. Everyone is extremely nice especially the front desk receptionist. Prices are decent. I highly recommend this groomer. One word of advice - call ahead to make your appointment because they book up fast!

      This place is amazing, they always do a good job even though my dog can be a handful. Lol let them know Mr. Rupert recommended them.

      Wouldn't recommend this place at all they cut my pet twice and didn't let me know that this happened made me really upset .my pet keeps scratching and has been irritated all day . They were also rude as well!

      Friendly and great service. Would be almost 5 stars if it weren't for deceptive price changes. Was advised of change in packages and prices at time of pickup while paying and not when dropping off pets. Been taking pets for a long time, but that will change due to my experience today. Cost ended up being roughly $30 more than a month prior for same service. Sadly, Will be looking elsewhere.

      This is painful. My beautiful Goldendoodle was shaved after I asked for a puppy cut. I even told the groomer, I wanted a puppy cut. But she listened to the ditsy receptionist that just started working that week rather than listen to the owner. I even bought the groomer a caramel macchiato to make her morning a little sweeter. Funny how kind acts can bite you in the butt sometimes. Elvis was almost 14 years old and he passed away 4 weeks ago. He had CHF, long story, he was very sick. His last visit was the last time, sadly that he was groomed. They still charged $80 despite scalping
      him. They also informed me they would charge me this insane amount because he was older at the next visit. I knew when I picked him up, he may not make it to another grooming
      appointment because he was older and sick. I held off at the time with leaving this review but after this popped up, I decided to leave it because I don't want another Dog or owner to be treated this way. Now, they are so busy, I get the assembly line feel rather than an expensive groomer feel( although your pocketbook will feel it). It would have been nice for my baby to have a soft puppy cut when he passed. He was such a sweet dog. It hurt me so much to lose him. This crappy experience was not something he needed nor did I at the end of his life. Previously, he bled
      from his nail bed due to sloppy work trimming his nails.
      I will find a new groomer for my new puppy, when I'm ready to get one.
