This is the best run Cantina I've seen so far in Baja , certainly in Todo Santos area. Their fish tacos are served with all the fixings in four different ways. They've got smoked Marlin or many other delicious offerings for extremely reasonable prices , great service .
It's the only place I've seen so far that has sauces at your table.
Good mixed drinks, especially some of the non-alcoholic. If you are anywhere near Cerritos Beach, this is the place to eat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alex E.Pacifica, CA386239888Mar 7, 2024
My partner has been talking about this place for years and I finally got to visit. Sheesh! The food & cocktails here are incredible. The shrimp tacos were the best we had & the Paloma is simply divine. These items were so good that we came back the following day for round two. Barracuda Cantina has a great vibe... but the flavors and quality cocktails are what brought us back. The combination of butterfly-cut then charred / grilled shrimp + salsa & fresh toppings is what put these tacos ahead of any others we tried during our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, even during the busier lunch rush. I cannot wait to come back for more tacos & Palomas.

What a hidden gem! We stopped by for our first meal after our flight on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous tropical setting, strong drinks, and superb food. Here was probably the place we went to with the best guac, with the freshest tasting chips and flavorful dip. I ordered fish tacos, which were noticeably more fresh and loaded than comparable US spots. I highly recommend this place and venturing down the dirt road to find it!

Been here twice and can easily say this place is overpriced and overhyped.
Drinks are quite pricey but were delicious to say the least. Tried both the House margaritas and mojitos.
Tacos are okay ... but really not worth it. The only taco I liked was the fried avocado taco. I wouldn't recommend the sweet potato taco because the sweet potato wasn't cooked all the way. It would totally be better if they cooked it longer. Everyone who ordered it in our group said the same ... Buttttt... the fries were slappin tho. They're not on the menu itself, but just ask for them and they can make 'em. Perfectly crunchy and seasoned.
Our other friends with us who tried the quesadillas and said they were really good. They also said the shrimp tacos were decent, but if you get them battered then all you taste is the batter and not the actual shrimp itself... just figured I'd mention !
Service was great. The staff was very attentive, even when the kitchen was getting ready to close they made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we didn't want to order anything else.
Probably wouldn't go for a third time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 91120529Dec 23, 2022
Great beach restaurant! It hits the spot after a long day of surfing and sunburns. They have fresh food, and even better prices.
For a small restaurant, it was packed with everyone who ventured the block up the street from the beach. There were locals and travelers, and everyone was very kind. The service was efficient and fast. Once seated, you go order at the window of the food truck in the restaurant for food, and they will bring it out to you.
They do have bathrooms for customers to use as well.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James J.Chandler, AZ07Apr 18, 2024

Holy This hidden gem is top notch! The service was excellent, ambiance cheerful, drinks delicious... not to mention the food! Both of our taco dishes were amazing. Fresh, grilled to perfection. We're planning on a second round this week.

Well, I always hope that the reviews I read for eating establishments are fairly accurate. I also understand the impact of rose colored glasses while taking a vacation. When I travel I always search for spots to eat that are frequented by locals, so I have to weigh in here; this is not one of them. It is simply a hyped tourist trap that claims and perhaps ( owner driven reviews) that the food is great and the ambiance steps in line. Sorry to say, in my opinion none of it is accurate. Honestly, my wife and I tried to find fish in our cheviche while moving the white onions around...nope. Deep fried avocado taco...welp perhaps some revelers thought it tasty but you can certainly deep fry anything. Anyway..eat along the hwy..avoid this place. If you are a foodie and don't avoid this spot.. you will have let yourself down.
