Be Dazzled Beads - Land of Odds

I took a class at Be Dazzled and then went to another store. I was just checking out the competition's classes. They took one look at my bracelet and said, "There really isn't anything we can teach you." This was after my first wire working class.

Be Dazzled has the best classes and the best selection in town. Anyone who thinks the people in this store are pretentious have no understanding of human nature. The owner has a very dry sense of humor but once you realize that, you realize he is very funny and is very kind and considerate and appears to truly love sharing his knowledge with others.

The people at Bedazzled are friendly, helpful, and most importantly they are knowledgeable. Another plus is the number of beads, work tools, classes, and more to choose from. I wanted to buy everything but had to make a choice. .

A huge selection of beads and tools at fair prices! I was able to find everything a needed and left happy with my purchases.

Be Dazzled was recommended to me to repair two necklaces that i got from my mother. They were beaded and had broken and many of the beads had fallen off.

Be Dazzled did a fabulous job repairing both necklaces. They replaced a few lost beads and the necklaces look brand new.

I would recommend them highly.

The crafting expertise and their customer service were AWESOME! April did such an awesome job on my necklace that I kept it on and wore it out of the store!! Though I'm leaving the state soon, you all have a customer FOR LIFE!

This review is for their jewlery repair person--Marjorie. I accidentally broke my wife's expensive pearls two years ago, and I was in the doghouse. My secretary was a client of Marjorie's, and she recommended I take them to her.

Not only did Marjorie fix them, my wife noted that they were strung better than they had been before. So, she took her other pearls--two bracelets and another necklace to her to restring, even though they were not broken. She repaired them all within a couple of days and once again, they were in better condition than they were when they were just purchased.

I am writing this after two more years where we have taken broken jewelry to her to fix, in addition to having her make necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for us to give as presents. I highly recommend her for all repairs and to have things made as special gifts that look like unlike any of the storebought or craft show jewelers.

No organization and completely overwhelming. I travel a lot and I make a point of visiting all the local bead shops and picking something up from every place I travel too so that I can later make something. After just a few minutes in this place I decided to give up and leave because there was no rhyme or reason to where anything was located. In the middle of the store, there is bin after bin with a hodgepodge of mismatched beads in them. I opened about 3 of the bins and figured it would take me hours if not days to look through that mess. I dont have that kind of time so I just left. I would not shop here in the future unless they were the only ones that had what I needed but thankfully there are lots of other choices for me.

Don't bother with the classes. They are short on instruction and hands on work/explanations and are mostly discussions of the types of beads and what to buy/not buy. I needed project help and was completely ignored with no offer of help from the instructor, so I chose to leave. What a waste of money and time! I found the class to be of very little use and got better instructions from free videos online.

Nice people! Very accommodating and knowledgeable, and lots of choices of beads, findings, Swarovski crystals, sterling wires, leather and suede and an assortment of colors of each. But the teachers are the "kickers." They are very patient and resourceful, and incredibly knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to sign up for courses. Almost everyone whom is there-is friendly and nice.

Nice, helpful employees. Great selection of beads. Classes are offered. They periodically run some sort of daily deal. Love, love, love this place. I don't go any where else!
