I really hate to do this to such a nice guy, but business is business and I must protect the masses. I dropped my Rustler VXL 4x4 off to his shop to upgrade the front and rear end with aluminum parts. Greg the owner assured me it would be ready that Wednesday because I brought my own parts. I called him Wednesday to check on my car and he told me it would be ready that night because he work another job. He called me and asked me to come to his shop at 9pm I went and my car was not ready, but he requested $70 for the time he spent on it. Against my better judgement I gave him $80 hoping he would finish my car but he told me he was tired and would finish tomorrow. I called him checking on the status and there was always an excuse, he even told me he had to go to the gym. Another day he told me he had to do some work for another customer. I told Greg, I paid him in good faith and then he stopped answering my calls, so I called him from my wife phone and he answered. When he notice who I was he abruptly said he would have it ready tomorrow. Now 14 days past and I was very patient with Greg, so I parked at the gas station and walked in his shop and my car was sitting in the same place with minimum work being done. He tried to tell me it wouldn't start and he had to reprogram everything and run test...I plugged my battery in my car and turned on the remote and it started up. I told Greg that now since he don't have to reprogram anything I would like to sit there until he finished my car. He then told me he had to put up groceries and earlier he told me he had to pay his rent (On a Sunday) I sat there with Greg while he attempted to work on my car. He finally put all the parts on my car but the steering was off. He charged me an additional $94 which totaled $174.00. I told him I'll just take my car as is and take it to professionals. I prefer action any day over a nice guy. I don't recommend this shop for any repairs.
