Bellonas Pizza

Live around the corner always wanted to try. I walked in and got a slice to go and at first bite the pizza was very very good. Perfect Chicago thin stye crust and taste will be coming back! They are also extremely welcoming at the counter.

I love grabbing an Italian beef every week from Bellona's, the service is quick & the workers are very nice. Occasionally I grab a small cheese pizza with basil

We've lived in the area for 9yrs and finally tried this place. Got 2 small thin crust 1) Hawaiian which is fantastic ! 1) pepperoni, mushroom, garlic, onion also very good and 1 Italian beef.
Great prices can't wait to try the deep dish and we will totally be ordering the Hawaiian thin crust again

Best Chicago style pizza in the neighborhood (and surrounding). Love their stuffed pizza and thin crust. Sauce is super herbed and flavorful and toppings are fresh! Incredibly reasonable pricing. Very nice people!

Recently moved from Uptown and exploring local pizza spots and unfortunately was disappointed.

-Sauce flavor is great, but it's too watery
-Crust is flavorful, but too thin in the base
-Way too much cheese

My main complaint is there was NO structure. The ratio of cheese to crust was off and it completely fell apart. I love cheese, but I had to pull half of it off to eat the slice. The base crust was so thin, it was sogged through and super floppy. I had to eat with a fork and was left feeling not full.

A few adjustments and this could be a great pan pizza.

We ordered 2 large pizzas (one deep dish) and they were great! lots and lots of cheese which I was happy with.

We also got onion rings which were tasty

We were able to order and pick up our order so quick and easy. We decided to try their thin crust bellonas special and added pepperoni, I thought the pizza was good, the crust wasn't my favorite but the ingredients were fresh and plentiful.
I'm happy to support local businesses in my neighborhood and next time we'll try their deep dish!

I don't cook much and I've been ordering in a lot during the pandemic. I found this place online, so I gave it a try and ordered for delivery.

The guy on the phone was nice and I ordered a sausage pizza. It came pretty quickly and it was very good. The sausage is totally baked under the cheese, not on top like most places I've had pizza in Chicago.

The crust was OK and the flavor was very good. This is a decent backup place near my apartment.

I hate giving 2 star reviews but I'm feeling frustrated in my search for good (actually, I'd settle for decent!) thin crust pizza in Chicago.So, my apologies to Bellonas for ranting a bit. But darn, with all the 4 and 5 star reviews I was set up a huge disappointment. And indeed I was. The large pepperoni and mushroom pizza didn't meet the "decent" threshold. Am I being too tough you think? No. I'm sure I'm not. The sauce was ok, the toppings were almost average (mushrooms brought them down) and the crust was horrible. The dense thin crust tasted like cardboard. And as leftovers? Yuck. I didn't like it fresh or next day. Sorry. Still searching.

This place is ridiculous. Tony (the manager) is unprofessional.
He calls his female customers "honey" when explaining why a 7:34pm order doesn't get delivered until AFTER 9:45pm. He waited to update the customer until 8:40pm to tell him 20 minutes when we called at 9:22pm and he states he is drivers short. You need to communicate with your customers and redeem you business. Do not call your customers out of their name. That is disgusting and degrading.
