BEST WEST TIRE & SERVICE

THIS COMPANY IS NOT HONEST AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. They will not fix the issue and only want more money. Best West Tire and Service does not stand behind their work and they are not honest. I filed a BBB complaint and they ignored it, they have ignored my concerns as well I spent close to 4000.00 in the past 3 months and the car is not fixed and was told there was a warranty for the work they did. My car will not hold coolant and that it why it was initially taken in. It still does not hold coolant after having it in to them 3 times since December. They were good several years ago they are no longer a good company and cant be trusted. They only care about money and not helping their customers. Your hard earned money will be better spent elsewhere where they believe in being honest and doing a good job

Should your vehicle be equipped with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components, you may consider utilizing the services of this establishment, albeit with a degree of caution. However, if your vehicle incorporates any aftermarket parts, I would strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to them.

I had recently installed new TXX outer tie rods on my vehicle and sought the alignment services of Best West. Regrettably, the outcome was less than satisfactory with my outer tie rods sustaining damage during the process. Despite the clear sequence of events, the establishment declined to acknowledge any responsibility for the damage incurred. The manager, MJ, asserted that his team was not culpable. However, it is worth noting that Best West was the last service provider to handle my vehicle.

Subsequent to their service, my vehicle now exhibits additional components - dangling earrings - that are not standard with the TXX outer tie rods. The original design includes an easy-to-use snap cotter pin specific to the TXX brand, not generic cotter pins one might acquire from an AutoZone outlet. This raises questions about whether these anomalies are a deliberate attempt by the "mechanics" to generate additional business or simply a reflection of their incompetence.

These people are a fucking joke. I told the mechanic what was wrong with my car which was a bad V V T Solenoid. He said he needed to do another diagnostic which costs $95 and the results came out the same and price came out to almost $400. Fucking ridiculous. Go somewhere else.

I needed a 17" tire mounted on short notice. My delivery truck had a blow-out way back in the mountains and I couldn't get the lugs broke loose on the tandem axel to move a tire forward. Most other places wanted 3 to 5 days just to get the tire in. MJ got a set from their warehouse while I was in transit to their shop. I hadn't even paid yet. They mounted it while I waited and I used it to get my delivery truck back to their shop where they installed the rest of the set. I was dead in the water delivery-wise until Best West bailed me out of a tough spot. Can't thank you enough.

Matt, Lori, and the rest of the Best West Tire family has been extremely pleasant and helpful when it came to servicing all of my vehicles. Their customer service rating is through the roof! They will find out what's wrong with your vehicle and recommend the appropriate service needs.

My vehicles are like my kids, if you take care of them. Then, they'll take care of you in the long run! The service prices are extremely reasonable. But I realized that some people complain about the prices. Without truly understanding the time this shop is putting into each customer vehicle to ensure their safety and security while they're out driving.

I'm grateful for the service I've been receiving over the past several years from this shop! THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH! And continue to provide this outstanding service to our Colorado Springs community and other surrounding communities.

Efficient! Professional! Honest! Friendly! There aren't enough positive words to describe my experiences with Best West Tire & Service. They've performed routine maintenance on my vehicles and educated me on the best tires to purchase for my car and driving habits. Everyone is great, but Lori is my favorite. Not only does she go above and beyond for me, but she provides amazing customer service to everyone who enters the store or calls on the phone.

Called them asking for a tire patching and they had us come in right away. Took less than 30 minutes and we were good to roll. Great pricing, fast service. Other tire repair locations were saying our car would need to be dropped off for hours or even days! Thanks guys!

Best mechanic shop in town! Staff are always super helpful and accommodating. Hard to find a better deal on labor and prices. Highly recommend!

I took my mom's truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. Should be a pretty simple job, but no. They put the basic oil in it and charged me for synthetic oil. We called and spoke to the manager and we were basically told that we are stupid by him and we don't know what we're talking about. I'm a professional mechanic for the past 15 years, I'm no rookie. I took my mom's truck in because she bought tires from this store. To make a bad situation even worse - today she was driving the truck and started noticing a squeak that kept getting worse. When I checked out the truck to see what it could be I noticed 2 missing lugnuts and the remaining lugnuts loose on the front passenger tire. What would've happened if she was driving on I-25 and had her wheel come off?! You guys could've killed someone because of your negligence!

I am posting a negative review with the caveat that this is a friendly shop that is good enough to do basic work or routine maintenance. Do not take your car here though if you need a competent diagnosis. I do not think this shop is dishonest or that they intentionally misled me. Everyone there is friendly. If you know exactly what you need done, like new tires, or an oil change, they can do it. But If you bring your car in with a real issue and are looking for help figuring out what is wrong, they can completely mislead you because they cannot diagnose issues.

I brought in a used Subaru that I had recently purchased that was having a horrible knocking sound when the car heated up. I strongly suspected the sound was not coming from the engine, because it happened when turning left. I told them I suspected the sound was coming from the steering mechanism, or perhaps the axle. I specifically told them that if they could not replicate the sound I described, they should call me and I could show them. They said this was not necessary. Sure enough they called me back and said the knocking was coming from the engine and that the only recourse was to buy a new engine and install it. I specifically asked the mechanic if he was sure about this. I asked him why I was only having this horrible knocking on a left turn. He assured me this happens because of the way the car tilts on a left turn. The car was good and although I could have just junked it and bought something new, I wanted to be back on the road and so I trusted their diagnosis. Huge mistake.

I got a car back with a new engine after a few thousand dollars. The noise seemed to be gone. Then a few weeks later I go on a small trip out of state and the noise is back. I immediately brought it back and asked the mechanic to ride with me in the car and hear the noise. Within one moment, the mechanic tells me I have a transmission issue and he could recommend a transmission shop to fix it. This means they lied and were too lazy to actually ever diagnose the sound and knocking that I had described, even though I had specifically requested they call me back if they could not replicate the sound I had described. The car may have actually needed a new engine, but the engine was never making the sound I had described and paid them to diagnose. The transmission work was another couple thousand, because I had made the mistake of thinking this shop had competent mechanics. It was the "viscous disk" that assists turning, which is why it made noise on turns. My initial instinct as a non-mechanic was better than the diagnosis I got from them.

I would have moved on but it got worse. The new engine kept having the check engine light come on. I brought it back and it sat for a day while this was diagnosed and they said they needed more time. I had to go up to North Denver to visit family so I said I would bring it back. While out of town, I went to another mechanic, who correctly diagnosed the problem in less than an hour.

Then I had another issue and brought it to them because the new engine was leaking too much oil. Again I specifically told them that I only wanted to spend money if their work could solve the problem. I had already spent more money on this car because of their bad diagnosis and at some point had to think about cutting my losses. Sure enough they told they could fix the problem, they did the work and the problem was not fixed. I went to another mechanic, who actually took the time to bring me under the rack and show me where the car still had issues so that we could actually fix the problem. I am switching and will not return. Like I say, you could trust them to fix something like a headlamp, or to get you new tires. I would not trust them with any issue where I need a competent mechanic to help me diagnose an issue.
