You're tired and maybe broke after spending 3+ hours in Ikea. You couldn't really dig the idea of eating Swedish meatballs from a furniture provider and you're also not really trying to wait in the 5 mile line for In-N-Out next door. So... what do? This place.
1) They serve beer. You need it. You just bought a $60 dresser that you're going to spend the next several days of your life trying to piece together like a puzzle, potentially risking your sanity in the process. You bought like, 100 votive candles for no reason, you've been standing and debating the merits of beige vs. white w your bf for several hours and the traffic on the 5 is going to be brutal. You need a beer.
2) Their sandwiches are huge and delicious and crispy and definitely not In-N-Out. I'm not bashing In-N-Out but after standing in the florescent megalith that is Ikea, the last thing I want to do is wait in line for a burger that I'm going to have to scarf down in my car on the 0.25 miles of road between the In-N-Out exit and the 5 entrance during which I will no doubt somehow also spill on myself. Bite Me's sandwiches are absolutely delicious and full of tons of good stuff, lots of room for customization too.
3) Their prices are great and service is fast.
We all might still be lying to ourselves and saying that our Ikea furniture is going to be special and better than everyone else's Ikea furniture (just have to arrange it the right way, maybe some marble contact paper will help?) but this place is one thing you can ACTUALLY feel good about after spending your day trying to pronounce Swedish words.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Oct 8, 2017
Found this place on yelp listed as a yelp cash back spot. We gave it a try last week.
First impression, we wanted to order bacon mozzarella sticks and were told they no longer have those. Uh still on the menu board.
So then we picked onion rings for our app... seemed to be frozen store bought.
My bf had a pastrami sandwich and I had a chicken/pastrami wrap. Both were just ok.
One and done.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2017
So, it was very hard for me to give a 4 star rating to this location. Because part of me wanted to give 5, but a couple of things prevented me to. I am staying at a hotel near by and stupidity decided to walk to this place on the 100° heat with humidity.
I walked by and the door was wide open, landscaping/cleaning crew was blowing with blower (dust and other things flying in to the restaurant) I wanted to dine in but since the doors were left open, no AC was running and it was as hot inside as outside. So ordered the Vinny wrap to go. Wakes back to my hotel and this sandwich was amazing. It had chicken, pastrami, red onions, roasted pepper, and parsley in it. On the outside, a thin layer of cheese pas melted. It really was an amazing lunch.
Service was just ok. The guy behind register greeted me, took the order and rang me up. As I sat down, he sat across from the TV above the kitchen, kicked back with his feet up against a shirt wall (or possibly a table, didn't look closely)
Either way, I enjoy my sandwich and would definitely come back. If cool inside I'll done in, otherwise a sandwich to go is way.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 23, 2017
Stumbled across this place online and with all the 5-star reviews wanted to try it out and I was not disappointed. The menu IS pretty limited, but what they do have was packed with flavor. This menu is almost exclusively wraps, but you can get everything as a bowl as well if you're watching calories.
I had the Carne Asada wrap and it was fantastic. The crunch of the wrap was great and the flavor/spice of the carne asada filling was so tasty and remains with you a good while after you're finished.
I'm not certain how this place has been in business, but I hope you find your way there to taste the flavors yourself and support their continued existence. I know I'll be back.
Found this place after doing a google for Sports Bars. This is NOT a sports bar, but you can have a beer and watch one of the 3 TV's, but it's not the kind of spot I'd watch sports all day.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nikki T.Los Angeles, CA5762891399Dec 10, 2017
Breakfast all day? YES PLEASE! I went here while I was waiting for a friend. Unfortunately, I was starving and ended up ordering way more food than I needed. Luckily, I had leftovers for the next few days!
Do get the wraps! I ordered the breakfast wrap sans bacon and ham and it was delicious! It came with a side of green sauce. The outside was crispy. I also ordered the chilli cheese fries and a chai latte. They spoiled me with a giant cup of chai! I'd skip the fries, but I'm a believer of their breakfast wrap. Everything was made to order.
Aside from the food, how could anyone NOT want to try a cafe named BITE ME? That's what really caught my attention and I'm glad I rose up to the challenge.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Hailey D.Los Angeles, CA57179521Jul 13, 2017
Great little hidden gem with delicious food!
I stumbled on this place late at night when I decided to go for a walk. The decor is casual yet trendy.
They have four TVs. One big TV is on top of the bar above the open kitchen area. They had the food network on, which was awesome. You see chefs prepping food on TV and you see it happing live in the restaurant at the same time.
The other TVs had sports playing. I can see this place getting packed when there's a game here. They serve beer and have a few good ones on draft.
I ordered the Melrose sandwich. Delicious! It has a chopped salad inside and chicken breast; the wrap is then grilled with cheese on top. Super good.
I will definitely be back to try some other menu items!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Eve K.Burbank, CA70569Sep 23, 2017
I have been avoiding this place since it has opened and I finally tried it today.
Today I learned a valuable lesson and that is to trust my instinct.
I ordered the chicken melrose wrap because there are a lot of recommendations on yelp and it sounded good. I also ordered the blt, bacon wrapped mozzarella stickers and the potato tornado.
To start off I had a big issue with the melrose wrap because the chicken they use is the kind you get from the frozen food isle, you know the kind with the fake grill marks. What's funny is on the website they mention that they only use fresh quality ingredients and I didn't get any of that.
Next came the blt, I have to say I took a bite of it and it had to be the worst blt I've ever had. I mean how do you get a blt wrong, it's bacon, lettuce and tomatoes with mayonnaise. The bacon was burned and not in a good way, there was no tomatoes and just a sprinkle of lettuce.
Now let's get to the bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks. These sound amazing right??? Wrong!!!! The cheese wasn't thoroughly cooked and the bacon was almost raw. If you order them please make sure to ask for it well done.
Lastly which happens to be the only 2 good things I ordered which is why I'm giving them 2 stars, the mido litro Coca Cola and the potato tornado. The potatoes weren't bad, they're pretty much chips on a stick. I just recommend you ask for more cheese sauce. In the pictures on yelp they are pretty covered in the sauce but that's not what we got. Which is a shame because it looked good.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elmira R.Sunnyvale, CA990442765Jun 6, 2017
I'm craving a Melrose Wrap as I'm writing this...
Bite Me Cafe is located in a shopping center on Glenoaks Blvd in Burbank. They have their own private parking lot, but there is also parking on the street.
The ambience is casual yet trendy. There are 4 TVs so I can see this place getting packed on a game/fight night. Oh, and they also have free WiFi.
Their service is welcoming and fast. The owner was really sweet and constantly checked in with us.
Bite Me Cafe is known for their wraps so I ordered their popular Melrose Wrap along with their Bacon Mozzarella Sticks. They have a bunch of bar snacks that look really good that I'll have to try next time. Also, I heard good things about their Breakfast Wrap. They have an open kitchen setting so you are able to watch the chef make your food while you're sipping on a beer or watching some TV.
Melrose Wrap: There is no description on the menu as to what is in the wrap but if you ask then you'll get your answer. Either way, I've decided to add a list of ingredients that I think stood out in the Melrose Wrap: chicken, cucumbers, tomato, lettuce and I believe there was also avocado in there. The wrap is then toasted with cheese on top. So delicious. 5/5 stars.
Bacon Mozzarella Sticks: When I read the name my jaw dropped lol. It comes with a thousand island type of dipping sauce. Honestly, you have to order this. It's so good and such a fun spin on Mozzarella sticks. 5/5 stars.
Bite Me Cafe is a great new addition to Burbank. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Anaeis M.Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA03223Oct 1, 2017Updated review
One partner left and another took over. Breakfast burritos don't even look or taste like their previous breakfast burritos. They are extremely small, not tasteful, and no hash brown?! It's also took 30 minutes for him to make the burrito; I understand if they are busy but there was no customers there and it still took 30 minutes. And we were given "complementary" french fries because of the delay, but it was a hand full of fries looking very sad. He gave the burrito and said "hope you like the new recipe". The burrito was $8 which is a decent price IF the burrito is decent, but it was very disappointing.
Advice- get the recipe from your old partner before you lose more customers.
Definitely not going back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I'm sorry for your bad experience at the cafe, but my partner did leave the business not the chefs or cooks, all staff And menu stayed the same,, and as for as the "wrap" we don't serve burritos, your boyfriend had left it got cold and I did not want to serve that so a fresh one was made, sorry it didn't come out the way you wanted they rushed it out because we were extremely busy, with a line out the door, would gladly comp you another breakfast "wrap" if you ever change your mind, we apologize
May 4, 2017Previous reviewCan't go wrong with the breakfast burrito! I ask them to add slices of avocados in there which makes it so much better. If you have a small appetite, I would recommend sharing the burrito with someone else because it's very fulfilling.

Not sure how to feel about this. It's been a few months since we've eaten here but the food is different. We were late night regulars, always met with Adam's friendly funny conversation, great food and a flight of drinks to top off the night. Any time we came, Adam was right in the thick of things. Did he leave? I hope he's still around.
It seems like things have changed. New management perhaps? The wraps and portions are smaller. What is up with the slice of American cheese on the top of your wraps?(see my pic) It used to be shredded, melted cheese that covered the top of the wrap that made it crispy and gave it just the right amount of gooey goodness.
The menu grew to 3x what it used to be. Is that a good thing? Who knows. I've always been a fan of keeping the menu simple. What's the point of making a menu big if the food will be mediocre compared to keeping a menu small and pushing out food that will be amazing? Ah just me.
May come back just to give it another chance. Hoping
it goes back to the original menu with the yummy food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
