Absolutely awesome, little coffee shop. The croissants are as good as they get, probably one of the best I have had in a long time (they import the dough from France), crepes were a bit underdone form me, buts personal taste and great tasting coffee. The service is great and helpful. Absolutely worth a visit!

Never been very crazy about this spot. Their drinks are good, but their food is bad.
Service is okay. Not the best, which is shocking for the area that this spot is in. Mom and I decided on sharing a wrap and each got a drink. Their beverages are very good, it's just their food that is not.
Mom got a iced green tea and I got a boba tea. The strawberry milk tea was almost too pink. Like pepto bismol pink. It also had a very funky taste to it. Though the mango bursting pearls were very good.
I would go back for drinks, but not the food. It's not my favorite at all.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Business owner information

Angie,
We appreciate you taking time to give us feedback. Thank you for the compliment on the cleanliness. We've been extra diligent during the Covid-19 experience.
With regards to slow service, our items are made to order. With such a small footprint, it can be deceiving, in that there could have been a guest or call in order ahead of yours. Due to guidelines and less foot traffic, we reduced our staff to 1-2. We made this decision vs closing, and are bearing the burden to keep them employed vs putting more financial stress on their families.
We understand it can be frustrating if you approach the counter and someone is not readily available. There are a number of things the staff could have been doing away from the front counter such as preparing pastries, restocking items, using the restroom, prepping items for future orders. We will look at using a bell for the counter to ensure our guests can be assisted in the quickest manner.
We do hope you would stop in and give us another opportunity to give you a great cafe experience. Thank You / GFYApr 30, 2020Previous reviewAll I can say about this place is it is very clean. However, the service is lacking. Every time I have been in here there is only one to two people serving and they are typically always away from the counter. It takes forever to order and or get your orders made.
In the time it takes them to make my order I am sure I could have made 4 of them myself and I don't have experience making coffee or crepes.
My best advice going forward would be to hire friendlier staff and make sure there is always someone watching to door to see who comes in. - Alfredo A.Scottsdale, AZ105241Mar 18, 2024
If you're in the Naples area of town, there are a few options but none better than Black Letter. Although most of the tourists here order basic b!tch drinks, the staff knows how to make a great coffee drink should you decide to venture out on something like a Honey Lavender Latte. The Breakfast Croissant w/egg, cheese and bacon is quite possibly the best breakfast sandwich I have ever ordered from a coffee shop. There are ample tables outside on the patio with umbrellas, public restrooms nearby and WiFi. The only suggestion I have is to put the names of the pastries in the pastry display case. It seemed to slow down the ordering process when every customer is pointing and asking "what's that?". Still, the staff was gracious and energetic in their explanations of the pastries nobody ended up buying.

Cute shop, want to try again some time
Bakery, lots of different drinks, gluten crepes and many other great treats
I just would not get the mango smoothie and the bubble, tapioca was too hard.
The smoothie was too thick and strong, needed more water or something to dilute it
Outside seating is perfect for dog watchers Lots of cute furry friends parade by
Nice location

I decided to come in today for the first time in a while to get a strawberry crepe and add Nutella since they no longer offer the strawberry and Nutella one. I used to come all the time when it was named Le Petit and it was wonderful. The two times I have come since they changed to Black Letter the portions have gotten smaller and smaller for the same price point, not to mention I have to pay more since the Nutella is an add-on now, which is fine. Not to mention the small size, the crepe was also very tough. I broke the plastic fork they gave me trying to cut it, and when I got home and used actual silverware a butter knife was still having trouble cutting through. Overall, I don't think the crepes are worth it for the charge anymore.

Best espresso/coffee on west coast of Florida and probably top five I've ever had in the world.

We found this by accident and were so pleasantly surprised. The coffee was delicious. They even put a Chocolate covered espresso bean on top of the cup which we thought was such a great touch. The staff was great and the food we had was so good as well. I had the avocado toast and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. They had several kinds of milk alternatives. I was so happy we found this hidden gem. I can't wait to go back.

Great boboa tea. They use popping boboa pearls which I like a lot better than the tapioca boboa pearls.
The gentlemen working were so friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them. We learned about their family & the history of their coffee.
