This was my first experience at a rolled ice cream shop and I'm a half it was! It was very mesmerizing watching the creamery artists create the perfect rolls of frosty cream. The flavor of the ice cream was quite tasty and satisfied my craving. I was a little disappointed how little they put in terms of toppings/mix ins however that might just be due to la Vida Mocha menu item I chose. It was also a little pricey for my liking but half of what you're paying for is the ice cream rolling show and presention which was beautiful. 50 cents more for whip... what!?
So all in all 4 stars for quality, presentation, atmosphere and customer service. Minus one for value.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 4, 2019
My family and I have been here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. When I first heard about this place, it was an ad on Facebook that popped up. Somehow I heard this location and Da Boba Spot had same owners. Since I've been to the other side, I kind of had an idea of what to expect. Cream with mix ins then rolled with added toppings. They also offer shakes and boba drinks. I like the rolled ice creams, it's a cool trend. The shakes are alright and the boba I'm not a huge fan. Honestly, I really am a tea snob so it's nothing against this shop.
Located in the Mililani Shopping Center, on the First Hawaiian Bank side, right next to an orthodontist. It's a cute, small store with tables and chairs outside and maybe room for 2 people to sit inside. The setup is nice, with a clear window to see how they make the ice cream rolls. They participate in FiveStars so don't forget to punch in your phone number to earn rewards.
The menu is quite big and clear. Great for making the selection process that much easier. They have a preset menu, and a "make your own" menu. There's a desperate menu for drinks too. From what I can remember there are preset flavors like cookies n cream, mint choco, matcha (green tea), coffee, chocolate, berry, Smores, lava flow... there were probably others but didn't seem interesting to me. The last one on the list sounded very different, something with sesame? I'll prob never try that one though lol. The preset menu starts at $7.50 and the make your own starts at $8.
My thoughts: I'm glad Blue Bubble has chosen Mililani to settle in. I feel like the trends don't really migrate our way. Everyone that lives outside of Mililani feels like this is just waaay to far to do anything in. Like no one's heard of the H2! But all that aside, it's a nice addition to the community. Its not one of those treats we can enjoy often as it is a little on the pricey side. But with all the different flavor choices, it definitely is different from your typical ice cream spot.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 1, 2018
While we're out and about going our merry way, my son told me he wants to eat ice cream with Oreos. I remembered seeing this place on Yelp and suggested he can order Cookie Monster with some chocolate syrup, Oreo and cookie. My son said, "Yes." Easy to find via Google. Free parking. Walk inside as shop is not seen from outside. Located across from Rajanee Thai restaurant. There are three tables outside that can comfortably fit 12 people. Noticed a menu providing tips on how to order. As soon as you step in, there's two tables perfect for two people each.
Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Cashier and server was kind to inform us it will be a fifteen minute wait. We didn't mind and waited for five orders of ice cream rolls belonging to two separate groups to be completed before receiving Cookie Monster and Ube Mine. Server was very thoughtful to place Cookie Monster in the freezer while Maker prepares Ube Mine. My five year old expressed a huge interest in watching from clear window how ice cream rolls were made, male worker drew a happy face for us with the condensed milk while preparing Ube Mine. My son was in awe.
Each cup of ice cream only comes in one size for a hefty price and include six rolls. There's colored plastic spoons, straws for tea beverages, mini plastic cups, and complimentary water located on left toward back. My son loved his Cookie Monster as ice cream flavors represent a true cookies and cream ice cream roll. I expected a stronger tasting, and distinct purple colored ube flavor; however, I surely tasted more of condensed milk and coconut.
Yes, I'm very grateful for the TLC and hard work from staff making all ice cream rolls. I may return here once in a blue mood.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - May 15, 2018
This place is across from Foodland near First Hawaiian Bank. There's plenty of parking.
One thing I really hate about boba is when it's too firm... I'm happy to say I had a Matcha "Smootea" with boba and it was awesome! The boba was perfect and they gave a lot. They only make regular size for Smooteas and it's $4.75.
It took about 15-20 mins for them to get my boba drink out, and three ice cream rolls for my friends which I don't think is long at all. We came late, 20 mins before closing and they were polite and let us stay outside and eat. My friends liked it but also said it was a lot to finish and they could probably share with someone. Rolled ice cream dishes are $7.50.
When I got the boba drink they also handed me a stamp card. 5 stamps free drink and 10 stamps free ice cream rolls!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 16, 2018
Yes this new kid on the block deserves 5 stars. The set up is very well thought out with flow of orders and customers. On the counter to the right there are directions for ordering either your drink or ice cream rolls.
I like that you can read the selections on a laminated sheet rather than looking up on a wall.
As soon as you enter you are greeted by all staff on duty. Each employee has a specific job like a well oiled machine. Two are stationed with wide spatula like tools to form your ice cream roll goodness. One was preparing the drinks. I saw a different person sealing the top of the drinks and one person had the condiments like whole oreo cookies, mochi balls, azuki, whipped cream, etc.
The man who took my orders was super sincerely friendly
and we talked about Blue Bubble popping up on Yelp as hot and new. They have been in business about 2 weeks and I'm SO glad they opened up in Mililani. I definitely want to come again. Make sure you get a frequency card too so you can come back again and againHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Daryl H.Mililani, HI15101260May 18, 2020
Like always GOOD customer service is capital, this place meets all the check points there!
Next it's the best Ice Cream rolls and shakes there is. I say shakes because we always have our Ube Mine blended... just ono!....hits da spot!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Patiellos F.Honolulu, HI9024105Dec 31, 2019
Best place I know to get thai boba tea!
I love boba and this place is close to home, we come here very often and I don't remember them messing up our orders not once. I always end up getting the same drink; Large, thai tea with boba, extra sweet. Its the only tea I like and they make it good.
You can get card stamps for every $5 you spend, if you come here often and you collect 10 stamps you're able to redeem it for one of their rolled ice creams, or a drink for 5 stamps. We already redeemed 2 free drinks a couple of weeks ago and started a new card again.
The place is a bit small and could get tight if its during the weekends and busy time of day.
Parking there's plenty, just a short walk and you'll be there. There are also seats outside if you prefer to not be indoors.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2018
Super delicious customizable rolled ice cream.
Ordered the create your own for myself. With black sesame base, mixed in with Oreo crumbs, topped with Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream.
I ordered two more to go for my husband and mother in law. I ordered their two most popular flavors, Cookie Monster: original base, chocolate chip cookie mix in topped with chocolate syrup, Oreo and chocolate chip cookie; Cott-on Cloud 9: cotton candy mix topped with strawberry syrup, fruity pebbles and cotton candy bits. Both with whipped cream. I must say that it Definitely helps that when you order to go, they have covers and offer to bag it up with some ice for your travels.
Interior is cute and modern. Only a few tables but that's okay bc it's fairly warm while you wait for the frozen goodness.
Don't let my photos fool you, go in and try it for yourself. Definitely worth coming back to try their bubble drinks and icy cream shakes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 6, 2019
Why haven't I checked this sweets spot off my bookmark list sooner!? Omg one of the best ice cream spots ever! Today we ordered the Cotton on cloud 9, chosen by my little one. Or else I would have gotten s'mores, honey dew, or honey toast. It was surprisingly perfectly delicious. Not super sweet and topped off with fruity pebbles on whipped cream. It is the perfect combo! We'll be back at least once a week to try each one out. I'm so relieved that they have a menu of pre-selected items. Creating my own seemed a bit too overwhelming with 2 keiki's in tow. Students get $1 drinks on Wednesday as long as you show your student id. Does college count? ;)

Great place for desserts in Mililani!! Rolled style ice creams and also milk teas. We got the Cotton Candy Ice cream and it was fantastic! The kids ate it all up! Staff is very friendly and they have a lot of places to sit outside. They only have one ice cream station so it might take a while to get the ice cream of you have a big party. We didn't try the milk teas but will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.
