Called this firm Saturday morning after discovering a leak in our water main near the meter. Dane was on-site in about 90 minutes from my call. He was a professional and immediately went to work on the problem. After a brief but heavy rain shower, he proceeded to finish the job in about two hours. His quote was flat rate and he left my years looking perfect! I would use this company again if I have plumbing problems. Five Stars Dane!!

Bumped up to four stars. After seeing my review, the company reached out to me and offered to correct the work. After the work was rectified, they sent photos showing the piping strapped correctly

The plumber who gave the estimate was patient and he explained the issue in full detail that could easily be understood even by the most layperson. The plumber that performed the work also explained the repair very well. They also obtained a permit with the city.
Unfortunately, the workmanship was not great. For a re-pipe through the attic, the PEX pipe was only loosely strapped, was not suspended, and the slack was so substantial that the piping still ran in a coiled pattern. The pipe insulation adhesive backing tape was also left behind. - Ken B.Plano, TX267Sep 15, 2021
Excellent service beginning with great personal service in discussing my problem to answering my questions.
Dane showed up on time, understood the problem and quickly solved that situation. He checked other water areas in and outside the house, made suggestions and double checked the original problem.
Great work from all involved. Thanks Dane.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Isabella G.TX, TX01Oct 20, 2022
Do not recommend this place at all! Prices are ridiculous! Called them out to fix our toilet and spent over 450 dollars for it just to stop working the next day. Such a scam. I called a different plumber and he was able to remove the whole toilet and fix the issue under 200 dollars. The plumber said this was his 5TH house he's had to work on after Blue Star Plumbing tried to fix it. I do not recommend this company at all!!

Cody and Seth gave us piece of mind. Showed up on a Slab leak issue and made us feel a heck of a lot more comfortable after we talked through what can be done. Were clean, tidy and again explained all the items. Not an exciting thing when you see water coming up through your floor but happy with Blue Star to help us navigate the issues.

This company sucks &$$!
My kitchen sink had fallen through off the granite counter top and had them come out for an estimate. To either fix the sink (seal it back in place) or to install a new one was the same price- over $2500!
Yes, over $2500 to put the original sink back up or to install a new one. And that's if I bought the sink. And then they have the balls to change me $50 just to come out and tell me that crap. I guess they are so over priced that is the only way they can make money.
POS - stay away from here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Linda S.San Diego, CA093Feb 23, 2022
Just needed a simple fix of the sink stopper in the Master BA and they accommodated me on the schedule since I was a teacher and couldn't have them come during the weekdays. I also got a teacher discount, which is amazing to boot! They were punctual, efficient, and provided friendly service. Was impressed how they provided pics/video of their work, along with an itemized receipt. Would definitely use their service again! Thank you, Blue Star Plumbing!

The value and quality of work for my service was poor. Blue Star charged me $650 total for work they completed within 15 minutes. The plumber justified this prior to starting the work by using scare tactics stating they may need to engage a third party for brick repair. The plumber informed me afterward that the part they replaced I could buy retail for $45. Finally after completion of the work they left my water meter open while the temperatures were below freezing.

There was a water leak coming up through the sidewalk in front of my house. I had a couple of guys come out and dig on both sides of the sidewalk and they found that the leak was not sprinkler piping but in fact the water line from the main to the house. And now with the leak detected, I called Blue Star for an estimate for repair. Kevin Orr from Blue Star showed up and spent a lot of time walking my front yard and talking about various aspects of water lines and their material make-up. He asked a few questions to ascertain my level of plumbing knowledge, and when he was satisfied with my lack thereof, proceeded to upsell the job. His bid for the job was 1800, and the next day two guys showed up and replaced a 6' section of PVC pipe under the sidewalk... It took them about 2 hours. Material and labor should have been well under 500 dollars. I was smoothly led to believe this would be an involved piece of work, all the while Kevin knew that it would be a simple and fast job. And to make matters worse they gave no warranty on their work.

Originally contacted Hedrick's Service Now to repair a water leak inside a wall behind the hot water tank. I agreed to the quote and repeatedly called trying to schedule the repair. I gave up on them after several days of no show and called Blue Star Plumbing. They showed up on time, repaired the leak and installed a new water heater with new copper connections and emergency drain. Great job, very disciplined and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend.
