BnT Impact Windows and Doors

I have to be honest the entire crew who works at Bnt Impact Windows are definitely great! Like any other company there are some negatives but Bnt always came and addressed them until we were happy! From our sales guy Charlie R. to the installation crew and finally the service crew they were awesome! I would love to name them all but I will do my best to name everyone who helped us!

If I had to do it again I would still choose them! Customer service goes a long long way! Don't go with a cheaper company because of that! Bnt wasn't the cheapest or most expensive but they definitely addressed our issues until permit was passed. I would like for Brett, Tom and Octavia to know I am glad I chose your company to protect my family!!

We ordered our doors/windows in September. BNT ordered the wrong doors. Three trips to the showroom and 6 months later we're FINALLY getting them installed today.

While waiting for BNT to fix their errors, we had 10 giant doors sitting in our garage. Hopefully there aren't any issues with today's install.

With so many companies in the industry, highly recommend you go elsewhere!

Obtained several quotes and BNT competitive but not lowest cost. Recommendation from a neighbour swung it. Three sliding doors and one window. Several options but salesmen very helpful in selecting right option. Delivery 12 weeks. Deposit 40% plus 40% on day of install. Better terms than some others. Tech came to confirm the salesmen's measurements. Two Brazilian guys installed efficiently despite rain. Follow up tech did punch list and inspection just fine. Final visit to finish a few minor issues. Always on time and clean and polite. Really could ask no more except no hurricanes please. Final nice touch. When I asked the tech on the final visit he said to spray with WD40 silicone spray. He did so and said " hey keep the old tin for when you need it".

I used BNT years ago to replace 3 windows after Hurricane Matthew when they leaked. They did an amazing job! I am ready to replace all of my windows so of course I contacted BNT again... 8 months ago I sent an email to Brett, no reply then I contacted them 2 months later via Yelp, I still haven't heard back.

I don't know if they have new management/owners or my job is now too small for them. But the polite thing to do would be to REPLY!

I waited a couple of months for a response from them because of COVID and closures. But after I continued to hear their advertisements on the radio I moved on to someone else.

Our project to change 3 doors started on October 25, 2022 and was completed on April 13, 2023. The project took much longer than planned due to multiple mistakes, unprofessionalism, and tardiness.

I was staying on top of our project, checking the status of permits and inspections on the city's website and responding immediately to phone calls and emails. I felt like I work for BNT.

1. It took 1 month for BNT to submit the documents to the city of Aventura when they had absolutely everything.

2. When I requested the status of our permit the response was that it was still in review with the city. I checked on the city's website and the status was issued.

3. One of the doors that was sent was wrong. Therefore we had to go through a painful process of phone calls, emails, meeting with a project manager (who repeated the work of the installers who already took pictures and notes of the wrong door) , and then another visit from the installers to reverse the doors.

4. BNT could not schedule an inspection with the city for over a month and could not get a hold of the city official to get a response to a simple question for the same period (36 days) to be exact. When I asked if they tried sending an email to the city official or utilized the online communication platform, the answer was no. I found the email of that person, it was posted on the city's website, provided them with the email, and we received a response right away.

5. After waiting 36 days for BNT to figure things out, we waited another 3 weeks for a BNT technician to be available, then the inspection on March 7 was cancelled, March 8 was also cancelled, and March 9 BNT failed again.

6. We failed 3 inspections and finally got an approval on the fourth one. BNT didn't install our front door according to the manufacture's requirements. The inspector spoke with the BNT officials, posted his notes on the city's website but they didn't bother to address the issues. Not to mention that they were late for one of the inspections, I was calling the main number, and everyone from BNT that I have communicated with - nobody picked up the phone. It took me 30 mins. to get in touch with somebody and the inspector was gone by this time.

This is just a short recap and I didn't go into much detail. If you decide to go with BNT be ready to burn out your PTO for numerous visits because they simply can't coordinate and do the job professionally.

Overall, we had a very stressful, cumbersome, and frustrating experience.

I had a terrible experience with BNT company when I hired them to replace my windows. The work took a whole year to complete, which is completely unacceptable. The whole process was poorly organized, and I had to constantly follow up with the company to get updates on the progress of the work.
I noticed that the new windows were not properly installed ,for this reason, they did not pass the city inspection. It was obvious that the team did not have the necessary skills or expertise to do the job correctly.
To make matters worse, I later found out that the company had scammed me- not fulfilling the terms of the contract. When I tried to get in touch with the company to resolve this issue, they were unresponsive and unhelpful.
Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone. They did an ugly job of replacing my windows, and the whole process was a nightmare. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to replace your windows, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Rofael leaded the installation team and did it very efficiently. Fernanda coordinated the schedule and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this company for your impact window replacement.

From start with Mike... to finish with Fernanda excellent service, response and quality. Showed up always on time and even had a phone call 15 min ahead to confirm he was on his way. Installers came in a very timely manner since we had time issues heading home to Canada. Installers were respectful, immaculate and efficient. Our neighbours had another company instal their windows and sliding door and are having major problems and wish they had used BNT. Wish every business had their work ethics and quality of product. Brett and his team came out and put all new impact doors and windows in my house.
they did an amazing job they were done in two days their crew is professional.
Great follow up and with the inspector everything passed one time through.
