Body Kneads Day Spa

I have tried several of the chain massage centers while traveling for work but none compare to the service of Body Kneads. I recently have been sciatic nerve pain and looked for relief from hospital "specialists" but they all they offered was medication and/or surgery. I opted for the gym, yoga, and PT. The therapist gave me stretch exercises and suggested I try massage therapy so of course I called Body Kneads, told them of my issue and scheduled an appointment with Ko Ko. She took time to ask a few questions then proceeded to analyze my anatomy then went to work on me. I felt better than I had in months - I continue to meet with her at least once a week for maintenance and on the way back to "normal". I highly recommend Body Kneads for their service but Ko Ko is something specia!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience any of the services itself because the customer experience was so bizarre. I called yesterday to make an appointment for a foot massage today and the person on the phone confirmed my booking. I called again today and let them know I had an appointment this afternoon but was wondering if I could move the appointment up by half an hour. The person on the phone confirmed this as well. Immediately after we hung up, she called me back and apologized several times saying there was no availability for today. I asked if I should just come in at my original scheduled time (which was confirmed yesterday) and she said "sorry, no availability" and then hung up on me before I could get another word in.

I won't be rescheduling.

I'm happy I stopped by to get rid of tension in my shoulders. The place is very clean and everything is extremely organized.
The owner (I assume) at the front desk is very nice and Yoyo was very professional. I requested 90 minutes so I could just chill out. Before we began, I asked her if she could do hard pressure on my shoulders to help work out the issues. Really good pressure, was attentive, and pivoted if I felt uncomfortable at any time. Definitely going back when I can.

This was my go to place for a massage but lately the quality has gone down the drain. During my last massage session, I was supposed to have Helen but she was not available and they found me a replacement. She was not at all go

The massage was very weak. Even though I asked her to focus on my shoulders and back which were problem areas, she spent a lot of her time on my rubbing legs. Also, her nails has sharp edges so I felt a scratches on my body. She did massage my hands so hard that her nail cut into my finger.

After this experience I don't think I will go back again. I am sad that the quality has gone down.

My return visit was even more relaxing , had a different masseuse she was very experienced and addressed my my aches and pains very professional , feel like a new man highly recommend definitely will return very clean establishment

This was a great place I would recommend it especially if you don't want to have an appointment. I walked in right off the street and got a massage within 10 minutes. And there was plenty of parking that's always a plus.

I came in for a 60 minute massage. I was very impressed. Everything was clean and up to my standards (and I'm a germaphobe!!!)
I had the honor of getting Jenny. The first thing I noticed when I lied down was that the bed was very warm (which is great because being cold during a massage is lame!)
She was very good and applied just the right amount of pressure. I actually fell asleep multiple times during our session. I weight lift at least 3 times a week and she really helped get any kinks out of my system.
5 star experience for everything.
As a last FYI, make sure to go to the correct place! I was told there are two Body Kneads. Make sure you go to the one in Palo Alto! You won't regret it!

The worst therapy ever. I had a medical problem and came here for acupuncture. The therapist lied to me that I need to pay her $100 twice, and then all the visits will be free and covered by my insurance. I paid her $200. Then she asked me to pay more and denied to fulfill her obligations.
Apart from that, the therapy was terrible. Acupuncture was painful and I told her beforehand not to touch sensitive area of my body. Despite that, after the acupuncture she started intensive massage of that area making my pain much worse.
Don't come here if you value your health. Run away from this place.

I wanted a massage and found this place on Groupon. I called them to see if they had a female masseuse available since I was not far away from there and they got me in within 30 minutes!!

I walked in and the place was dark and quiet. The massage room was dimly lit, looked descent and clean. The masseuse who massaged me didn't speak very much, but I managed to tell her what I didn't need to be massaged (head, face). She had good pressures but not very consistent. Although, I wouldn't fault her much since I was sooooo sore that o was just ready to get a massage. I should have insteucted her more clearly in the beginning that I like stronger pressures. 8 did wish that she would ask me if I needed more pressure though (I did request more pressure during the masaage but I wasn't sure if she understood it since she didn't seem to speak much english).

Overall, the 60 minutes massage was reasonably pleasant. The price was excellent (thanks to Groupon!). I'll certainly come back again!

Love this place! It's slightly more expensive than the typical reflexology spots but SO worth it. It's calm, relaxing and clean. My masseuse (Nancy) was very nice and knew exactly the areas that I needed it the most. They were also very accommodating when I asked for a last minute appointment as they were closing.

This past weekend I went to a fancy spa and the massage was just average. I would have much rather gone here! It's my new go-to massage spot.
