Bonsai Thai & Sushi Restaurant

On a dinner date night with my fiance, it was our first time here. We ordered appetizers of steamed gyoza and a house salad which comes with a delicious ginger dressing. And we chose a Cabernet red wine and a lychee martini cocktail. But they took so long to bring our appetizers because they were backed up in the kitchen. So our great, friendly waiter gave us a soup of our choice on the house (we got miso soup). Then, for entrees we had the Favorite roll of Atlantic and specialty Bonsai "G" roll. To finish our course, we had the Oreo blast which are fried Oreo's. Everything was amazing! We recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for awesome food and drinks.

For my son's birthday we ordered two large party platters and they were a HUGE hit. The taste, freshness, and presentation was just perfect. We will definitely be ordering again from Bonsai in the very near future.

This restaurant is closed down and still active on Uber eats had to go on a mission to receive a refund. I posted the sign on the door where it says the restaurant went bankrupt.

Food is okay but the service is terrible. I recommend the pad thai, especially the seafood one.

Came here because other places had like a 30min wait time and last time we came here service was incredibly
fast. Food is amazing but we sat down at 8pm and didn't got out food until 9:05.. the server didn't bothered in letting us know the kitchen was taking "a little too long", and we only found out because we had to ask him where our food was. Definitely should've waited the 30min somewhere else and get my food on time.. so inconsiderate, the only reason why we didn't got up and left it was because it was too late.

Always a pleasure! Very friendly and accommodating to kids fast service and very helpful. Love this place it's my go to for sushi!

Went to eat here with my daughter around 8PM and we were the only ones there, first red flag I guess... We ordered two rolls and two soups and it took around an hour to get the food, it also was extremely expensive, each roll was greater than $20! Go to Sushi Corner down the street, not as nice but way better quality food and pricing.

I've been recommended to come to Bonsai seeing as it's close to home. So we decided to give it a try one night and I can say we weren't wowed at all about the food. I was actually kind of shocked tbh. The gyozas weren't even hot when they came, and the chicken teriyaki was so bland and flavorless. I don't know about my boyfriends sushi, but I don't think I could actually come back here and waste money.

I can say our server was extremely nice and attentive the entire time but it just wasn't enough. I truly think they need some go bistro flavor in their menu lol even getting take out your order comes out wrong as well. If you're looking for a more lively place also, this ain't it. It was pretty quiet and empty inside. I believe they need to step it up here in my opinion, and again even with it being conveniently close to home I still can't return.

Updating my review. Sushi remains good but honestly really nothing else to offer. Service was mediocre. Beer and wine only with only 4 choices. Just much better options nearby. Won't be going back.
