5 stars all around: Peruvian food with excellent service with a sleek interior design.
5 star food: Arroz con pollo / chicken w rice was amazingly good. There was a greenish sauce (maybe with pesto in it?) that was terrific on both the rice and the chicken. The portions are huge and leftovers lasted through TWO additional meals. Throwing calorie counts aside, we tried Peruvian donuts for desert, they're sort of sweet and chewy, plus come in a honey based sauce. Believe me, they're worth the extra Stairmaster minutes to burn off the extra calories.
5 star service: polite and friendly staffers were happy to help with menu choices and checked back often.
5 star ambience: it's sleek and well-decorated inside. Outside it's an older small strip shopping plaza. They've done so well over the years that they are now 3 slots of storefront from the original single storefront.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matt P.Fort Lauderdale, FL116Apr 3, 2024
While the food is always good, this place could really use some basic, fundamental service training. During a recent $200+ for four, not once were we ever asked how the food was, did we need anything else, etc. It took so long from being seated to attended to, we ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees all at once. But to order dessert, get more drinks, or even get the check, we had to flag down a very inattentive waiter. Even after he was flagged down multiple times, he would complete mundane unimportant tasks like collecting menus, counting tips, and socializing with other employees.
Very disappointing service all around, even more so considering the price point.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 21794177Feb 12, 2024
Food: Some of the BEST Peruvian food I've had in a long time. We had lomo saltado and the bravo sandwich. The appetizer we had these small cheese balls that I can't remember the name. And churros for dessert. Honestly, 10/10. Definitely coming back. Food presentation was A1 and flavor and temperature was excellent.
Service: Quick and professional. Never slacked.
Ambiance: We went for dinner. Pretty romantic. Very nice for a date night or family night out.
Definitely returning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 21733504295Dec 6, 2023
Bravo is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in FTL area. Big and tasty portions like their roasted corn kernels. I usually go for lunch and never had to wait too long. I have been to Peru and Bravo does justice to many of the traditional dishes. Their chica morada is spot on.
The interior is more artsy and gives traditional vibes. Plenty of seating and parking.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - John D.FL, FL0103Apr 21, 2024

Okay... I was not prepared for what I experienced here. This was my last Florida stop on my way to the airport, and I was wowed! My friend drove me to this place and I was like wow this is a spacious spot! They had plenty of bar seating and dining tables, and the decor was lovely! We were seated immediately and given water.
During lunch, you can get an appetizer and main course for $22. I got ceviche was was deeeeeelicious -- and to stay with the seafood theme, got the pescado a la criolla (fish filet with rice and potatoes). It was a hearty amount of food, and it was delicious. I got a pisco sour as well... I learned that it's Peru's national drink! I enjoyed it thoroughly, and then mixed it with my friend's passion fruit juice... WHEW!
I decided to get picarones to go... I had no intention of doing dessert, but my arm was twisted. Picarones are Peruvian donuts... and these were made with pumpkin and sweet potato, and came with this amazing sauce / syrup. Let's just say I was extremely delighted once I got on my flight home.
If you're a fan of Peruvian food, or might just be interested in checking it out... come here. You won't regret it.Helpful 8Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - Sep 24, 2023
Once upon a time, I frequented Miami... Peruvian food was a staple we loved and have been so disappointed by the Peruvian offerings in my area. And then there is my father wanting to bring me to BRAVO but I was hesitant due to all the previous Peruvian let-downs.
Reluctantly, I joined him and as we stepped into the restaurant, it became clear that my pop has not only been here recently but he must've be the life of some party because I was in ahhh that quite a few of the staff were so excited to see him.
We ordered a pitcher (carafe) of SANGRIA and an order of MIXTO CEVICHE DE LA CASA (the mixto includes fish, shrimp, octopus, calamari and mussels)... they have plenty of other ceviche options but how can you pass on the "Mixto" !
We also shared a PULPO ANTICUCHERO (aji panca marinated grilled octopus with roasted potatoes and Peruvian corn with chimichurri sauce; this dish was unreal and in hindsight, I wish I ordered another one for my main dish.
For my main, I ended up ordering a classic Peruvian dish, LOMO SALTADO; which is cuts of steak with onions, tomatoes, fries with a brown sauce/gravy over it over (and served with white rice).
My pops went with the CHURRASCO A LA PARRILLA (churrasco steak with chimichurri sauce served with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad.
Kinda glad I gave in to my father's insisting to try Bravo !Helpful 8Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Oct 17, 2023
This place is a gem. The staff, service and food all excellent! The Peruvian ceviche is so damn good! All the food we had was outstanding! If you live around here and have not been you are missing out big time!
I could go on and on but I think you get the big picture. AMAZING!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2023
An excellent spot for authentic Peruvian cuisine with an elevated touch. Good for big groups, wasn't too busy but make a reservation if you can.
Service
Our server was incredibly attentive and welcoming. He made recommendations, took photos for our large party and cared a lot about repeating our order to get it right. He told us stories about the owner and how much she cares to preserve the foods authenticity. So much so that everyone preparing the food is Peruvian.
Food
My family ordered a sample of things including the grilled octopus, calamari, jalea, sandwiches, fried rice, and fish. All portions were generous and great for sharing. I'm always excited to try lomo saltado at Peruvian restaurants so when I saw they had a yellow pepper risotto lomo saltado I was intrigued. We ordered both the traditional and the risotto and I enjoyed both! The risotto was cheesy and super filling. The lomo was delicious, tender, cooked perfectly. Very innovative and impressive flavors!
Dessert
We ordered the passion fruit cheesecake and a vanilla flan for the table to share. The cheesecake more memorable. I loved the fruity tartness of the passion fruit gel on top.
It's worth traveling to Wilton Manors to give this place a try!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
