French tip Acrylic w/ Design - Jessica did my nails. She's AMAZING!! You HAVE to go to her but they all do very well. D'Asia does all types of cool designs! If you're wanting Disney theme, cartoon, whatever! She's the girl to go to! They're changing the nail salon name to "Be You".
I would totally recommend coming here!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charity T.TX, TX012Apr 26, 2024
My nails turned out amazing ! I believe I had Jessica. She was such a sweetheart! She was so kind and respectful and caring and I really appreciated her and her work. I also had to leave by a certain time (i added another service in the middle so it was my fault) and she tried her hardest to get everything finished by then. I highly recommend and I will definitely will be returning!

It took a total of 35 minutes for them to complete my spa shellac - mani! In and out!

This review is strictly based off pricing. I have gotten white gel on my toes for years now. Never have I ever paid $80 for just a gel pedicure before. The signature pedicure was good but not $80 worth ($48, +20 for gel, and 20% tip). It is my fault for not looking at pricing before going but I really thought i was gonna get more bang for my buck for an $80 pedi.

I wouldn't recommend this place. They do a fine job but the customer service is just not good. I got my nails done and a few days later they broke off. I paid like $70 so of course I went back in and they charged me to get them fixed. Ridiculous. You can't keep customers with business like this, no wonder they are never busy.

I had made an appointment earlier in the day since I was in a rush and they said they had put me down for the time today.
I came by and they didn't have me down and proceeded to tell me that I had to wait 20-30 minutes after I showed them that I called earlier in the day. I understand that of course there are people in front of me, but I made an appointment to avoid the wait since I was low on time and they were the ones who didn't put me down.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - C C.Houston, TX43112May 18, 2021
0/5.
I spent $280, including gift certificates. A recipient attempted to use a gift certificate and was denied unless she provided a SCREEN SHOT of my credit card bill with the transaction. THEN was asked the credit card number. I am glad I did not pay with cash as it would not be honored. I will NEVER patronize this establishment in the future.
I spoke with the owner, Tiffany, who stated she did not have a record of the certificate and/or the issuing employee is no longer there. While unfortunate, poor business practices are not the responsibility of a patron. As many parents gift services to students, one would think they would be honored without jumping through aggravating hoops. It is unacceptable to place this onus on a client.
As far as nails, I had a dip set, which began chipping after a week. This has never happened in my years of receiving dip nails. I didn't think it could, frankly, without aggressive/harsh treatment. As a professional, I do not work with my hands other than typing. So, not only is the business run incredibly poorly but the service is not worth the time, effort, or resources. SKIP this place and look elsewhere.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 20310554830Apr 11, 2017Updated review
So my nails started graying at the tips, which I have never had happen to me. I called to see if they could fix the nails and after explaining the situation, they told me to come in for them to take a look. I was basically told that it was my fault because the graying was due to reading the newspaper or reading a textbook, neither of which I had done. They used acetone and some of it rubbed off, but the discoloration was still visible so they reluctantly offered to redo the nails. They tried to assign me to the same nail tech who did my manicure the first time, which I very much objected to (refer to my original review).
The new tech, Justin, was infinitely better in terms of the overall quality and attention to detail. My nails look pretty much flawless, and I would almost consider coming here again solely from this positive experience with him.
The reason that I'm not changing the amount of stars though is because the nail tech next to me sneezed into both of her hands and then proceeded to touch products and work on the customer's hands.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 6, 2017Previous reviewThis place is overpriced for how mediocre the services were. My basic manicure was about 15 minutes, and I could tell my person was rushing to accommodate the 3 girls who walked in after me. My nails were barely filed, so they ended up a bit jagged-looking (not in a terribly noticeable way but they could have at least rounded them out)? My polish was not done very well near my cuticles and there was an air bubble on one of the nails. One of my nails looks like the cuticle didn't get any attention at all. There was a less than 10 second massage and just to put this in perspective, this manicure is probably going to run me $30+ while my preferred salon in Dallas does excellent work, gives a 10 minute massage, and costs just $25.
I'm currently sitting for a classic pedicure right now and the experience isn't much better. My water was filled half way with cold water before the same person who did my manicure realized. He didn't bother to drain the water to refill it, so my feet and legs are getting chilly. The massage was nice though with the exfoliating sea salt and there's also a massage with lotion, so your massage time is actually more than the stated 5 minutes. One of my hot towels is noticeably cooler than the other and those were quickly removed. I chose a beautiful pale pink Essie polish, and was only given one layer of polish?? I'm not sure when that's ever the case and especially for such a light color. - Tina N.Dallas, TX210104228Jan 25, 2019Updated review
I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS. I RAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE. I LOVE THIS PLACE. AND I CAN GUARANTEE YOU, that if you're looking for a place that does dip, tips, gel, etc. then this is your place. I have been going to this nail salon EXCLUSIVELY for almost a year and a half.
Not sure about the other reviews but I love this place and I LOVE TIna, Sarah is witty and sassy as is Jeff, Julie is extra sweet. I always love having small, fun conversations with the employees. Tina's the only one that I ever get my nails done with but I've recommended this place to many of my friends and they've loved all the other people that have done their nails, Sarah in particular.
I always call ahead for an appointment although there usually is not a wait if you avoid the weekends. I call ahead because I always get tips put on and dipping powder which takes about an hour. Tina lets me be picky, AND HONEY IM PICKYY when it comes to length or correcting any unevenness. She's always going to ask you how they look and be HONEST with her cause she'll fix it if you don't like it.
I've also broken so many tips within a week of having my nails done, which is a tragedy and makes me a mess, and all I have to do is walk in and in about 5 minutes they're fixed.
I've had some really strange requests and this salon is ALWAYS ACCOMMODATING. I've come in and gotten longgg stilettos and come in 3 days later to have them cute down to be functional. I LOVE that the staff knows that I'm typically a longgg nail type of girl and whenever I go short we all make jokes that I'm someone else or that there's something wrong. The atmosphere is light-hearted and you can tell it's a fun environment to be in.
So let me say this, I rarely update reviews. But I feel the need to say that if you are scrolling down and read reviews and come across 2 reviews that seems they're in cohort with each other, their reviews are not indicative of how this nail salon functions.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 21, 2018Previous reviewNot sure about the other reviews but I love this place and I LOVE Tina. I wish I had picturese of just my nails but I don't :( - Aug 17, 2018
The final result was great, they did do a good job. I just wish I understood what the young man was saying and trying to sell me. I smiled and nodded my head, as I didn't want to ask him to repeat for the 4th time. I also wish that staff didn't make it obvious that they are talking about clients in their native language. Place is clean, and comfortable, pricey since I nodded to services I probably didn't need.
Again, what matters is that my toes look good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
