Bubbles Mobile Pet Grooming

We've hesitated in the past with taking our dog to the groomer because she is skittish and easily frightened having been raised in a puppy mill. I've been cutting her hair for the last 7 years minus one other time, which only looked mildly better than when I did it. Sybie's hair had finally gotten out of hand, so we treated her (and ourselves) to a 'spa' day.

Catherine did a great job with her! Her hair was soft, she smelled great, and she was returned cool, calm, and collected. Despite little direction from me in terms of haircut/style, Sybie looks great and seemed much happier with a shorter hairdo.

As someone who has resisted paying for grooming, I will definitely be using Bubbles/Catherine again.

PS. When contacting for the first time, please keep in mind that she's likely working. I think its a function of being a mobile service -- it's really just her/her partner.

I have been using Cathy for several years. My two dogs love her and they always look great after their visit with her. She is extremely professional and provides the best customer service.

Called to have dog washed and cleaned -
Long story made short - not only did he not fully clean the poop off my dog and out of her ears, but he shaved a knot and cut a 3 inch area under her ear - big boo-boo almost bleeding! He never mentioned it! My sister was home having it done - Called him when I got home - he denied it - denied hurting her - and said he had cleaned her - when he hadn't! Beware!
Do not use!

Catherine was such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and proactive in communication by confirming our appointment, contacted us while en route and followed up with us to make sure everything was satisfactory.

Our precious puppies were well taken care of and looked spectacular when they were finished.

We were so impressed we have booked them on a 6 week rotation.

Extremely disappointed with David's service. I decided to choose a mobile groomer in order to prevent my 9 month old goldendoodle puppy from having to be caged and having to wait several hours during the process. It was easy to make an appointment with David but that was the only positive part of the experience. He was 40 minutes late and not especially friendly to interact with. He didn't ask questions so I had to be sure to let him know the style we were going for. Seeing my dog from afar she looked okay but very short. Upon closer inspection she looked completely hacked and ruined. Extremely uneven all over her body. Important areas for hygiene were hardly done, her butt was long and had poop in the fur, her stomach wasn't touched, and her private area hadn't been cleaned or trimmed.

I'm also very diligent about preventing matting in her coat and know there weren't many problem areas. However, David claimed there were. When I asked what areas were matted he seemed to reply in a dishonest way because I know there were no mats in those places. Lucy was trimmed so short she looked sick, she was very itchy, and seemed uncomfortable following the experience. I ended up taking her to Petsmart to fix the job, paying over $200 in total to have her groomed. I so regret ever using this service and wish I had looked up the Yelp reviews. I also wish I had been more direct with David at the time but I was shocked and have never received a service that wasnt worthy of full payment, thus I didn't know what to do. I do not believe David is a competent groomer and feel so upset for the others who have had similar or even worse experiences.

Not only does our dog love Mr. Bubbles, but we do, too. He is wonderful with Kodi and genuinely cares for our "boy." His attention to detail with grooming is always appreciated and he cares as much as we do about how cute Kodi looks at the end of his visit. Kodi also loves the great cookies Mr. Bubbles has and tends to carry them around for days before he will eat them.
I highly recommend this high level service and how much easier it is for you and your pets.

This was the worst experience with a dog groomer ever. I am new to the area and decided to go with a mobile groomer rather than take my dogs in. I will say that they are outdoor dogs, and the one grows was dirty and matted. But we get her shaved down after winter every year and she does great. This person charged us 140.00 to mutilate my poor dog. NEVER again! Spare your dogs, don't trust this person.

First off, I've been reading some of these reviews and these people are extremely uptight and have a stick up their ass or they are assholes. Ok now to my review. I have a 14.5 Siberian Husky with degenerative myelopathy, which means he cannot stand on his own and cannot walk on his own anymore. I would take my dog grooming every 3-4 months but ever since his health declined I could no longer take him all the way to Ashburn. I called multiple mobile pet groomers and every single one of them told me they can't help me because either they only wash small cars or dogs or they only serve the leesburg area or they can't clean him since he can't stand, even though I offered to help hold him up. Out of the 5 mobile groomers, David accepted. David is a very compassionate human being who shows his love and dedication to his work not only because he was the only one willing to take on such a big task but also because he was so gentle and sweet with my elderly dog and made him feel at ease and washed and groomed him so well!!!!! David I cannot thank you enough for helping my dear Maximus get his fur so clean and fluffy and his nails trimmed and making him smell so great!!

Very disappointed with David's service. I specifically asked that he not cut my 25lb mini golden doodle's hair super short. I showed him a picture of what my dog looked like after a previous grooming session to confirm that he understood what I wanted. He then took her and butchered her hair!! I was SHOCKED at how she looked. He said that he used the longest clipper he had, and I said, well, if you could not give me what I asked for then you should have told me up front. His reply was yes, he should have done that and hind sight is 20/20. WOW! He also said that he thought he did a good job, and I said that may be true, but it is NOT what I asked for. In addition, David told me my dogs hair was matted and that he had to cut it short, which may have been OK with me had he said that up front. Now, I understand that my dog's hair will grow back, and David was very nice, even when I was upset and raised my voice, but the bottom line is- if he looked at the picture I showed him and could not give me what I wanted, then he should have told me up front.
