Burrito Bandido Mexican Grill

I gave this place a shot since someone reviewed this place and said they were from SoCal and said this place was legit. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed and IMHO have to question the validity of that SoCal statement. I AM from SoCal and this place is just another restaurant posing as Mexican.

It was fine but there is no carne asada here and no corn tortilla street tacos with onions and cilantro. Service was great and the manager (I believe) who was waiting tables did a great job. Dry humor which works for me.

Nice little Mexican place with good food at good prices. The service was good during my visit too.

We came into this business based on recommendations but it is no longer Burrito Bandido. It is now a Honduran restaurant and the only menu is in Spanish and no one in restaurant speaks English. We are going to try the food.

Not a good experience at all. We came here because the yelp ratings were good, I don't know why. To begin with our waiter Louis was rude. I don't know any other way to say it. My husband said hi and ask how his day was, he just looked at him, like he didn't speak English? He totally ignored us. The food- stale chips and underwhelming salsa. Instead of going on and on... just eat somewhere else...it was awful. Sad.

Great food. We all ordered different items and everyone enjoyed. Cheese dip and bean dip were great.

Service was fast and waiter was really funny. For sure recommend this place.

The interior is elongated in kind of odd shape but the seating is fine, it's clean and pleasant inside and what that may be missing in space they more than make up for with nice portions, good prices and very good food. There's a lot of authentiity here with cooked to order dishes that are hot, fresh and full of flavor. This is a good combination of authentic and classic Tex-Mex style dishes. You'll find all the usual suspects tacos, burritos, taquitos, fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, tamales, releno and theirs even a few vegetarian offerings. In addition there's the newest additions of pork carnitas tacos and dinners that are bursting with flavor and my personal favorites. The shrimp inside their dishes are plump and well seasoned and cooked just right. The guac and queso excellent and both the chips and their salsa way above average.

Who doesn't love taco Tuesday deals? Well these guys got you covered with .99 cent Beef or Chicken, Crunchy or Soft Tacos all day from 11-8 AND takeout is welcome!

The only reason this is not a full 5 stars is the owners decision to not renew the liquor license. I know it's an expense but not being able to offer a Mexican beer or margarita with your excellent Mexican food, unfortunate. I feel like it's a short sighted but it's not my business but I am the customer, and while I don't always have libations with my Mexican, sometimes the meal just demands it. That being said this is a classic Mom & Pop operation that is toughing it out through Covid and I feel like it would be an absolute shame to see these guys go under. I highly recommend the food here because it is fresh, authentic and well thought out. Bottom line: The owner Luis and wife are very present, friendly, pleasant and appreciate the business. They make sure that your food and service are done right, it's refreshing. Recommended!!!

Don't bother going there. Sign is gone and the restaurant is closed. My husband asked a lady who came out if they were closed permanently and she said they would be open in two weeks. I really doubt it though.

I was nervous when we pulled up to a strip mall. But, don't be fooled...our food was so good! Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. We loved the food. Highly recommend!

We came for lunch on a Saturday. Easy to get seating and the server was welcoming. The menu has everything and it's all delicious! We had cheese dip and guacamole to start. The kids menu was thorough and all the dishes can out hot and well timed. The ambiance is casual with authentic Mexican music in the kitchen.
