C&D's Kitchen

This is a great takeout place to grab a inexpensive, quality meal...I've passed them many times to go to the French bakery next door but I'm glad I finally stopped in.

My favorite so far has been the wings n waffles meal and the fresh squeezed lemonade. The wings are actually really decent quality and the crispness is perfect. The guys that run C&D are very personable and polite... which is saying something since it is crazy hot in the kitchen! There is no seating, it is strictly takeout and most people hang outside while waiting. Street parking is easy/free and they take cards but prefer cash like most small businesses.

Great bang for your buck! I've tried the steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and sweet potato pie and everything was so good! I've returned twice in two weeks.

We saw the article in Next Pittsburgh today. Went for lunch. Delicious food. The owners, Cletus and Denise, were so friendly and dedicated. I wish we had more of them in America right now. Great food and prices...warmest welcome...community building people...a place to return and enjoy often.

You can not come to Pittsburgh without going to C&D Kitchen. Warm your heart soul food + such nice and friendly staff = A customer for life. You will not regret coming here

Went for the first time today at newest location. Their homemade Mac & cheese is to die for! Just live up the hill & will definitely be back ASAP!

My partner and I LOVE C&D's .. possibly best soul food in the city! They have lots of options, good prices, and staff is very friendly. Their recent renovation is really nice too!

This is a great place! Everything we ordered was made right in front of us, instead of being pre-made and reheated, and even the simplest foods were made with quality and food. Really friendly service as well.

Had chicken and waffles and greens. The chicken and waffles was nice and crunchy. The taste with hot sauce and syrup was a great blend of sweet and savory. The greens were the best I've ever had, and I'm from the south. Amazing restaurant and a good price.
