One of the most popular cafes in Shin-Okubo, Cafe du Riche is spacious and modern with your usual selection of stylish sweets and drinks. There's heartier fare like pasta and other hot dishes, but the star here is of course the sweets menu.
This place can get extremely busy, especially in weekends, due to being adjacent to The Showbox and a prime space to sit and watch people.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Anthony G.Nesconset, NY47215337010Nov 17, 2017
Pleasant, spacious cafe in Shinjuku section of Tokyo is nice to come relax after a day of site seeing. Even better, it's one of the very few cafes I been to here that has pretty good coffee! They stay open pretty late too. Counter service was very welcoming and prices aren't too bad. I just wish I discovered this place sooner.

Nice place to hangout or to some reading. Great selection of drinks, desserts and other pastries. Friendly service with a smile. Mostly young people but all ages are welcomed.

This cafe is always busy and only a block away from our Airbnb so we decided to come here for our last brunch in Japan. My fiance got the breakfast with the scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. I was gonna get that too but I felt adventurous that day and decided to get the croque monsieur. It was not a good choice. Too much cheese and really greasy. So disappointing because my fiance really enjoyed his meal and I wasn't a fan of mine at all. It is also very pricey for brunch. I didn't think it was worth it. It did have nice decor and a good menu selection. However I would probably come back for a coffee, but will not stay for brunch. There are so many other options in the area.
