California Locksmith Company

I called California Locksmith at 2:05 p.m. on a Saturday, and they had my door open less than 30 minutes later. Can't ask for more than that.

I rarely right bad reviews but I've had the worst experience with trying to deal with this guy for a Key FOB and I gave him way more opportunities then I should have. He said he ordered a part for me and then 5 different times I called and he said he was busy on a client and would get back to me in a couple hours. Never once did he ever call back. Every time I'd call he said he was sick or something came up. Many times it would ring and then the line would randomly disconnect. Luckily I found a great guy right up the street who changed it right away for me.

My lock broke as I was trying to leave to pick up my vehicle from my mechanic. Gratefully, my mother was home and could be in my home until I returned. I was frantic. Once I returned, I googled locksmiths in Long Beach and found this company.

I used the request quote function and was immediately connected to a chat. The rep was attentive, resourceful and courteous. I was informed a technician would be to my home shortly and, to my pleasant surprise, he arrived within minutes.

The tech fixed my lock quickly and professionally. I thanked him and are grateful for the expedited service.

Great company, will recommend for all locksmith needs!

Alex is the best! We manage an apartment building where the old lock on our front entrance jammed and would not open from the inside after hours on a Friday night. He came within 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem and had the part expressed delivered by Sunday morning. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied.

Paid for keys and they brought the wrong ones. Promised he would bring the right ones and over two weeks later still nothing and now he has blocked my phone number. Very dissatisfied. Would not recommend at all!

Took care of the issues i was having turning on my wifes honda accord. Very greatfull to have found his video on youtube . Contacted him . Set up appointment. Took care of the issues for me . Very good lock smith . Thank u

Alex, the owner was very nice, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. My elderly parents car key was stuck in the driver's door lock of their older BMW X3 and they were worried. My dad didn't who to call to fix it so they were planning to bring it to shop which will probably charge them and arm and a leg. I went to Yelp to see if I could call a locksmith and this was the first place that popped up when I searched for car/ automotive locksmith. I called and Alex answered. I briefly explained the issue and Alex said, " that's a common issue with older BMWs". It never happened to my Toyotas or Lexuses. Anyway, Alex was confident he could fix the problem. Here's the clincher the price he quoted was reasonable. I wanted to make sure, so I called another locksmith. After explaining the issue, the other guy said he can't fix it but he knew someone that could. Ok so who? The other locksmith said call California locksmith!!! I went back to Alex and we arranged for him to work on it. The only hiccup to this was waiting for "the part " needed to arrive. Alex fixed my parents car on a Saturday night in a jiffy plus they got themselves a remote which makes it easier for them to open the car door and trunk! My parents were very happy and I'm happy. Problem solved! Thank you so much Alex.

I think I found my locksmith from here on. Never going to call anyone else from now on. I've had a few incidences ( locking myself out of my own house)in past that I needed a locksmith.

Dude is super wack. Rude on the phone and has poor communication skills. Locksmith tries to tell an agent how to do his job. I didn't know I called the bureau for a consultant on my job, thought it was a locksmith. Says he knows more about housing laws than agent. If you need a realtor , this locksmith thinks he knows it all, so call him. . Today I had time locksmith, hope you think about how you talk to people before you lose your company to bad reviews.

Anyways this is a know it all realtor not a locksmith, do not call.

I accidentally locked myself out in January and found this company on yelp.
The guy came and worked on the door for over an hour. I was freezing cold outside and Alex ended up having to drill through the doorknob and still charged $80! And he said because he couldn't pick the lock, he'll install new doorknobs for me for free. Well, the landlord wants the keys to all match or get copies of the new keys. Instead, he made excuses about how the doorknobs were too close to the door jam and etc... and ended up not installing the new doorknob nor making up for the damage he did after charging the full price for not being able to pick the lock successfully... I'm pretty upset. He gave me attitude and I never spoke to him again.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this...Let me know.
I only came across this company again because we are locked out again...but don't think I'll call him...

No you did not! You did NOT come to my home and install the new lock! I had a handyman friend come do it. And I did not threaten. I said I would write a review to prevent others from paying for a service they did not get. I should've read the reviews first. Seems like a lot of negative reviews had issues with communication and you keeping promises. You took money from me and wasn't able to do your job. At least, you could've accepted half payment for being unable to unlock BOTH sides of my apartment. Yes, the neighbor tried to help open the back doors but The front doors were not even touched by my neighbor. You even said that it was some high end tech or weird doorknobs/locks that were extra secure. And I found out the landlord bought them from Amazon. Yes, I have texts too! I kept them all. And nowhere did I say I was going to "ruin you" or your business. I don't like writing negative reviews. But when Your unprofessionalism is appalling, I gotta be honest. Maybe you could work on customer service a little?
