California Repipe & Plumbing

We needed a repipe and weren't sure where to start. We first called Peter at California Repipe after seeing so many positive reviews. About 5 minutes into our consultation at the house, I knew he was going to get the job, but I felt I should get another estimate for good measure. The other quote was actually slightly lower, but my mind was made up.

The reason was simple, I could tell that Peter knew exactly what he was doing and that he took enough pride in his work to finish the job.

Our house had some unexpected things get in the way (HVAC, electrical, etc.). Peter put in the time and effort to figure out a way to make everything work flawlessly.

We decided to install a whole house water filter at the last minute. Peter worked with the manufacturer to get the exact model we needed and performed a great install.

Our water is clean and hot water gets to every faucet quicker than before. We don't have to worry about any more pipe leaks. Our neighborhood has a ton of issues with slab leaks and we will not have to worry about that ever again either.

All drywall patched up and ready for our painter to come in and finish things up.

We were in trouble, as our water pipes were over 35 years old and starting to disintegrate (the old, gray polybutylene (PB) ones), so we needed to have our whole house re-piped ASAP! (I had already repaired two leaks within the last three months myself up in the attic.) We had gotten two other quotes and his was by far the best and most comprehensive. Petar and his crew were nice, attentive and very professional throughout the whole process and they did it quickly and efficiently. Using plastic sheets, he and his people protected all of the surrounding areas and floors to keep them clean. And after they were done, they even repaired and textured the drywall they had opened up! He repiped and drywalled my ceilings very well. He takes pride in his work and wants you to be satisfied. This is the guy you want to do your plumbing.

A little backstory: my son had hired a "general contractor" to he found on craigslist to remodel his master bathroom. Thousands of dollars later and the work was terrible and everything that gentleman did was wrong, including the Plumbing, tile work, electric etc. To make things worse, the new shower was leaking!

We had to hire all new contractors to redo all of the work that this terrible person messed up!

When it was time for plumbing work, I called Petar and his company. Petar was such a blessing! He was able to correct all of the plumbing mistakes the bad contractor made and he re-piped the entire shower and bathroom in a timely and professional manner!

When it was time to remodel the second bathroom, I once again called Petar to replace an outdated shower with a brand new bathtub! Once again peters service and professionalism was amazing. he connected everything perfectly and replumbed this bathroom also.

Petar is very honest and knowledgeable. He will not take advantage of you and his pricing is very fair. Again I am so happy I found him and his company!

Petar repiped our home with copper pipe and replaced our water heater. He was instrumental in identifying the actual piping material (misidentified by the home inspector) that had been installed by the previous homeowner and explained in detail the risks and benefits of continuing with that material. Once we had decided on copper, Petar went over the repiping process, materials, pricing, and timing. We had received multiple quotes and Petar was the most competitive. The work was performed as described within the scheduled time window and the final drywall repair / texture including cleanup was excellent. Petar sent numerous photos of the completed work to us. I especially appreciated Petar' prompt communication and honest information sharing throughout all aspects of the project.
