Carlsbad Airport Self Storage

I've had a storage unit at Carlsbad airport Self storage at 1910 Palomar Oaks Way in Carlsbad for 2 years.

When I moved out I discovered that water had leaked from the roof into the back of the storage unit ruining several items.

I filed the claim with Carlsbad airport Self storage and they did nothing about it they didn't file the claim I called the insurance company they said they had never received a claim or they would have immediately reached out to me Carlsbad airport Self storage that I had to pay extra money for the insurance which was included in the original quote it's mandatory to have this insurance and now they try to screw me over by not even filing the claim.

I was promised the rate for a certain period of time guaranteed then they raise the rates immediately there is a problem with the elevator which they never fixed they're in the entire two years do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but Carl's bed airport self-storage their customer service sucks they lied into your face they have not filed the claim that I sent to him I did a paperwork perfectly I had pictures and they didn't even turn it into the insurance company they figure in that if they delay delay delay I'll go away well that's not going to happen.

There are many more self-storage companies in the area that will treat you right I found a better one and I think you should look elsewhere other than Carlsbad airport Self storage on 1910 Palomar Oaks Way in Carlsbad off of Palomar airport road they are terrible.

I dealt with Corinne and Elijah on the claim there and they said no problem we'll take care of this this happens all the time so apparently they have a problem with the roof there and a lot of stuff gets wet and damaged but apparently they think they could just screw everybody over.

If you get a storage unit from them and your stuff gets damaged don't blame me I tried to warn you.

Staff never seems to be on site. Management difficult to communicate with. The two units I rented were both clean and well-maintained. Cargo elevators were usually operational. Disputed their ridiculous insurance charge that they kept adding to my monthly bill for over a year even though I presented them with proof that my homeowners insurance covered my belongings there and I didn't need theirs. Gave them a month's notice of intent to vacate and moved all my things to another business. They still called me a month later to try to get additional payment beyond the end of my lease. Either these guys are frauds or they don't know how to run their business.

STOP! This is the worst self storage. Gate security system gate doesn't work for days. Young girl in office ignores no apologies Simply does not care. Recently didn't work for all of Sunday Monday. Numerous tenants upset. Heard if you leave 1 minute after 5;45, you will be locked in for night. The emergency number on gate is bogus. They know & have Nothing to do with this storage. Carlsbad Police knows nothing has no emergency codes. Young girl in office is the absolute worst customer service rep. She is rude to everyone, never shows units. Tells them to go look. She should be fired. Understand no access after 5;45 PEOPLE should be able to GET OUT no matter- not locked in! Security co says this option in system can be bypassed so people are not locked in. According to This girl...heard her yelling at a tenant "be out before 5:45. if there is an emergency police & fire will have to break down gate!" Heard and see many tenants vacating due to the terrible service and lack of professionalism. Phone is never answered & messages full. Never receive return calls. Everyone complains. This person who always had her son there and now a baby!! needs to be terminated. they need to get someone who is friendly kind and professional. Too bad and sad the "StorAmerica" management does not care overlooks how this young girl is rarely there, horrible attitude, lack of courtesy, no professionalism whatsoever. This is why tenants are moving out. Maybe some day they will see the truth and find a replacement.

This place is a terrible choice. We rented a unit online, had our movers take our things there and when they arrived there was no way to enter and no one there to help. This move ultimately will cost us thousands of dollars more and the movers are threatening to take things to dump.
Unreliable storage with no customer service at all. Do not use!!!!

Horrible experience tonight. After being a customer for many years I have never been treated so badly by an employee. She was very u professional yelling to my car from the front office for no justifiable reason. I have a business account and come back and forth after hours but I was being refused to let go in my unit and threated. Not recommended after this.

This place is great, service is awesome and the deals are the best in town . I rent two storage spaces from this place . They are very affordable and the ladies in the office are knowledgeable and they help you get the best deal . This place is very clean and so reasonable for the area .

Conveniently located and Chanel is great! Always open and accommodating especially in today's times!

After three months of waiting and waiting for a settlement check for the damage done to my sofa because of the rats that got into my storage and ate my sofa I have yet to receive the money. Every time I call it's the same old story. Check's in the mail. These people are liars and crooks and will treat you the same way if any damage is done to your belongings. I have had to file a small claims court against them to get my money they agreed to give me . This is no was no way to treat a 70 yr. old senior citizen with limited means. DO NOT STORE HERE!!!!!

I came by since I was in the neighborhood and see my friend Chanel who I used to work with Awesome job Chanel! Just Awesome! Still the go-getter I remember.
