I was looking for a jibarito nearby, but couldn't find anything. This place came up and I decided to check it out.
I ordered a lot of different items from the menu, as I wasn't really sure which I would like. The portions are huge and very generous! The food is sooo good. I am literally supposed to be on the way to the airport to go back home to Chicago, but here I am waiting for a 2nd order here!
My favorite is the arepas with shredded beef, cheese, black beans and sweet plantains. (Though all the things I tried were super good.)
The restaurant is in the back of the mall at the food court.
Try this place. Also the white cream sauce, is like a garlic sauce or something, it's super fire!!! Get an extra one of those if possible.
The workers are also very nice and friendly. Everything served hot and fresh, you can't go wrong!
I'm a picky, finicky eater...Please believe me. All my family and friends tell me I need to be a professional food critic.
This food is worth it. Sooo good. I'll be thinking about this place for a while lolHelpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 23, 2021
I love celidas cafe! I come here for the empanadas, very big, such great flavor. They have shredded chicken, shredded beef, cheese. I definitely recommend trying Celida's! It's a hidden gem inside the plaza by zaxbys off pleasant hill. The arepas look amazing but I have not tried yet.

Celida's Cafe is located at the food court of Plazas Las Americas in Lilburn.
I was up for checking the food court out to eat and explore more Hispanic food options.
Arepas in the house! Made fresh!
I've been wanting arepas for the longest time. The ingredients are fresh, the crust is piping hot when they bring out to the table.
It is good! I would just like it with more of the red sauce, it's delicious hehe.
Will be back.

Celida's Cafe is a Venezuelan food place that really stands up. Different kinds of arepas full of content, Cachapas and empanadas made fresh for you. True venezuelan cheese, not the plastic that you buy in the supermarkets.
Malta, Frescolita and Chicha. And the Salsita de Ajo that really hits the spot.

Delicious coffee and cachapas (corn pancakes with cheese). Both the ladies that work there are so sweet. They are located in the food court of Plaza Las Americas. If you haven't tried Venezuelan food or love Venezuelan food, I recommend trying them out.
Their menu also includes arepas, breakfast foods, empanadas, and paella.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tish D.Atlanta, GA15519431Feb 11, 2021
My husband and I dropped by Las Americas for the first time. We tried a few places in the food court. One of them was Celida's Cafe. Arepa selection looked really good. I picked up 2 beef empanadas and a passion fruit drink. The empanadas were fresh and delicious. The passion fruit drink was the perfect sweetness and super refreshing. Service was excellent as well.

This is my absolute favorite place in the world! I agree with this place being a true hidden gem. The cook and owner, Celida is very sweet and already knows my order when I call her and tell her my name. I always get either the Arepa de Perico or the Arepa de Pollo con queso. Both are absolutely delicious, not to mention the sauce that is put in them (Salsa de ajo) that tastes like absolute heaven! I couldn't be happier with this place, the people, the food, the prices, and everything that revolves around it!

I came to get an arepa but saw Mondogo in the menu. I can't lie, I had my doubts at the beginning. It was my desire to be loyal to my mother's Mondongo and also previous bad experiences in other Venezuelan restaurants. "To make mondongo is not an easy task", Always my mother says.
"You try and decide" Celida (the owner and cook) told me with a very nice smile and gave me a little cup with Mondongo.
Omg!!!! Excellent. !!!!!
Exactly same flavor from home. It was amazing, rich and very natural in flavor. I was delighted enjoying such a typical delicious dish. I want 1000% satisfied.
Thanks so much Celida's. I will come back again soon to try all you have there. Please make quesillo hahaha.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Caland Caillou O.Duluth, GA17845Sep 17, 2018
