Central Texas Property Management

I have been living in a property managed by this group for 3 years in Harker Heights. The management is phenomenal and the property was spotless when I moved in. Any time I contacted maintenance, I was given prompt responses. I cannot recommend this property management group more. 10/10!!!!!!

It's not the best or the worst company; it's just average.

A few things I don't particularly like about this company:
1. Shared maintenance fee - I believe taking care of normal wear and tear situations should be on the homeowner & not the tenant, especially when I know I'm not doing anything to purposely damage the home. If I were a homeowner, I'd incur all costs associated with normal wear and tear of my home. With this company, I have to pay every time a maintenance person comes out to repair an issue that likely existed before I rented the place. It just seems like another way to nickel and dime tenants already paying exorbitant rent prices and just trying to keep a roof over our heads in this terrible economy.

2. No contact with the office after 12 - You can't reach anybody in the office after 12 and have to wait the next day BEFORE 12 to be contacted by company staff because everyone is out "checking on properties" after 12. What kind of company doesn't have a receptionist in office to answer phone calls during business hours or some other type of communication portal where tenants can reach staff for general, non-maintenance related questions/issues? Then, when you do speak to someone, sometimes you don't get a thorough explanation that helps you understand what you need to do as a tenant or a response that seems like the company cares about you as a customer or person.

If I could've found a comparable rental with a different company within the short amount of time I had to move, I would've. I believe there are better options out there when it comes to rental companies.

If you want your deposit back, do not go with this company. After I moved out, I got lawn service, carpet cleaning, and a move-out cleaning. I was only given $53.00 out of my $600 deposit back. They ended charging me for a whole bunch of stuff that I had nothing to do with. The property is already 20 years old. Also, they have shared maintenance requests which end up costing you money even though the responsibility should be on them as it is a rental property. I would never recommend this rental company to any of my friends or family.

This company really cares about the homes they manage and strive to take great care of their residents. Properties are well maintained and I have had great experiences with everyone in the office. Would definitely recommend to any incoming military families to rent here or even manage a home if they are moving out of the area.

Central Texas Property Management is AMAZING!! We are a military family, and they went above and beyond to not only get us into a beautiful home, but also support us throughout the entire process. The entire staff was timely, thorough, and welcoming. Angelina was the individual we worked with upon signing, and she coordinated everything for our move in perfectly, answered questions the same day, and was in contact on the weekend to ensure we had everything we needed. We will never work with anyone else after working with Central Texas Property Management, they have our loyalty and we will be recommending them to everyone we know!!!

Angelina is fantastic! She is always BEYOND helpful whenever I have any questions or issues. Great property management company all around. Would definitely recommend.

If you want someone to manage your home but also take care of it as if it was their own, central Texas property management is who you should go with.
