CGS Waterproofing & Foundations

We needed a new roof after 17 years. So I looked and compared roofing companies. I read reviews of 7 different companies, and then I read CGS waterproofing reviews, and I was satisfied with what I read. I wanted a reliable, honest, and professional experience. That's what I got from CGS. First, I want to say thank you to Carlos Martinez for getting his works out here on time and doing a fantastic (one day) job. They arrived at 7am, by 7:30am they was stripping the roof. Clean up their mess, and it was all done in one day. I have told my friends family about CGS and how wonderful of job they did. I recommend CGS waterproofing.

They did waterproofing in my basement. They showed up on time and were able to get the job done in one day. Ulysis was courteous and provided a fair price for the work. I would recommend them and have hired them to do another project.

After the most recent storm I noticed that my crawlspace had water coming in and it was really damp. I called 3 different waterproofing companies, so I could compare prices and CGS price was unmatched. The staff answer the phone are really polite and knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. When the inspector came out, they were really thorough when explaining the solution, and gave me different options in order to help me save money.

Once we started the work the crew were really clean and didn't leave a mess when they left. Honestly had a really good experience overall.

I used CGS to encapsulate my crawlspace and install a sump pump. The communication leading up to the project was fantastic. The team answered all my questions, worked with me to deliver exactly what I needed, and never pushed me to make a decision.

The installation crew was efficient, left the work site clean, and were very polite. The work is very high quality.

After the project was done, CGS returned to my home to do a follow up inspection on a simple question I had.

And if good customer service and quality installation wasn't enough, CGS found a cost savings without my knowledge and sent me a check for that amount!

I work in construction myself and I highly recommend CGS. Good work and good people.

CGS charged me appx $2400 for 3 catch basins front, side, and back yard with drainpipe, 5year warrantee. Numerous problems still exist.
First day, they only installed 2 catch basins: front and side (charged for 3).
I noticed the front basin was bouncy, turned out it was held together with duct tape; after getting caught, they fixed it. Since then, my yard has continued to flood so after 2yr pandemic I called them back and found that they never put a basin in the back at all, just a pipe sticking out of the ground with a lid over it.
Post-pandemic, they tried installing a Used 22" basin in the back but it was not deep enough. I purchased a $80. 14x18" basin for them to use.
CGS guy did not measure, just cut a hole in both sides and now dirt falls into the box and ground sinking. In addition, the intake pipe is 2" lower than the exit pipe, which means the water has to fill the box 5" to exit or backflow to the Side Yard as the slope is uphill.
After numerous calls, Managers repeatedly refused to come out to see the problem and send field guys instead. The office/emails states them to do one thing but they do whatever is easy.
I have asked CGS numerous times to fix the problem, and each time CGS has done nothing but jury-rig the drainage system. The field guys lied to my face on several occasions (i.e., duct tape, 3rd basin missing) and stood in my yard laughing, speaking Spanish, and making fun of me, very disrespectful. They say the drainage is working as long as a water hose does not overflow the yard.
The field guys were supposed to come tomorrow morning but unexpectedly, came today, end of day. They were supposed to replace the basin and correct the slope, according to the email. Again, the field guys get here, they refused to correct the slope, and wanted to install a gigantic 22" box, without correcting the slope, a piecemeal job again, also more water, more mosquitos. I said no, I wanted the job done correctly, on the same day; the manager said he will do no more. Worse company ever. RUN RUN RUN

CGS did a great job at our family home. We had some water intrusion in our basement for quite some time. When it rained heavy the basement was impossible to go to. The inspector who came out had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable about what she was doing! With the help of the CGS crew we are now able to enjoy our basement.They were quick to respond and offered me a payment plan with no interest!! They're super affordable and I was also informed they do all kinds of work for houses so I'll definitely be contacting them for future projects. Thanks CGS!!

Great work done by the team that came to waterproof the basement! Michael and his team were hard-working, efficient, and thorough with their job. They even placed a drain near our door to prevent outside water from coming in a different way. Highly recommend!

I have been having leaking problems for days and with these rains it has gotten worse so I decided to look for a waterproofing service to solve my problem. Searching on Google I came across CGS waterproofing which were at my service from the beginning. They had an immediate response and they explained to me what has to be done.
