Food and service were amazing! Had the beef stew with cilantro sauce. The beans that came with it were so tasty and the beef very tender and flavorful!
Chicken pot augratin was cheesy and delicious! Chicken with rice was very tender and flavorful as well.
We all loved the pickled onions so much (even hubby who doesn't really like onions!) I asked for an extra little plate!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 365209302Feb 3, 20241 check-in
FOOD:
Chef Paz is somewhere you go when you've got an appetite. The empanadas were delicious! Albeit they're a wee oily. I recommend eating these with a napkin. I ordered the salchipapas next. They were pretty decent. I wish the fries were crispier but the flavors were there. The entree was the best part. I love a good runny egg. The flavors married well together. On a personal note, the dish was slightly salty to me.
SERVICE:
Both the man and woman running the restaurant are so quick. They take plates and cups away quickly. They're very kind.
10/10 will be back here again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 27, 2023
Wanted to try something different. There menu is quite extensive. Their food is yummy. The server was quick to Describe and explain the different dishes. The decor is just plain old small restaurant nothing fancy, they do have larger table setting for larger groups and booths for smaller groups. The food portions are quite large and you could eat just an appetizer and feel like you had a full meal.
The Chicken Pot Gratin was the hands down winner of our choices.
I posted as many pages of the menu as I was allowed but it's quite extensive and continues on through vegetarian fare as well.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Patricia W.Longboat Key, FL04Apr 20, 2024
Original, plentiful food, very tasty. Easy in and easy out. Great service. It's great to have a small unique restaurant close to neighborhoods in West Allis.

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter to get a quick bite. The restaurant is cozy and was quite busy for an afternoon. My daughter is a vegetarian, and we ordered appetizers to share. First time tasting Yuca and it was delicious. We enjoyed everything we tried and will be back again.

This is my first visit here ever and came alone at the last minute I've heard only good things about this restaurant over the past several years. Since I came alone I decided to come right when they opened and was greeted upon arrival but customer service was not impressive. My wait staff came by just to give me my entree and bill. The food tasted great overall. I'll try this establishment again in the future with better customer service if I'm not alone

Food is very good. Service was quick and efficient. The restaurant is quite small but comfortable. I had never had Peruvian food and I will be back.

Great as always! One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Food is bursting with flavors! We crave the ceviche. Staff is kind. Cozy and comfortable spot. Keep up the good work!
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 1, 2020Previous reviewBest meal during COVID so far! I have been craving their delicious menu for awhile, but was worried the ceviche wouldn't hold up on the trip home. I'm here to say everything tasted as fresh and delicious as dining in. You can't go wrong with anything you order, but don't sleep on their ceviche or empanadas. Feel free to ask their staff for recommendations - they won't steer you wrong! Please support this amazing local business. They are kind and you can taste the care they put into their food. Thanks Chef Paz!
Jun 17, 2016Previous reviewWow! Been driving past this place and reading awesome reviews all over the place. So glad they were on point. We started with the seafood ceviche. Don't think I could make it my entire meal, but it was a perfect starter. Crisp, clean, and bursting with flavor. I have never had anything like it and I am sure I will crave it from now on. I ordered the paella for my main dish and my boyfriend had the Mar y Tierra. Both were exceptional and unlike anything we had ever eaten. I do agree with a previous Yelper who wished the paella came with some crunchy edges from the pan. Service was fast and friendly. A little pricey, but I am willing to pay for quality. Will definitely be back, and next time we are bringing friends!

I can't believe that I can walk to this place and it's been on my foodie bucket list for ever and I'm just getting over. The place is small and charming with tables and booths and all ethnic people eating so you know it's going to be good. The menu has amazing dishes but I could only have one so it's going to be hard to choose so let's order a Peruvian cocktail the pisco sour in passion fruit flavor, small is a 1/2 pitcher so bring it on. OMG the pisco sour is fu#king delicious.
I ordered the Inka paella with shrimp, calamari and mussels which is a seafood rice dish. It came piping hot to my table and looked great. My first thought was that's it's seasoned nicely and tasty. It's actually very good with perfect cooked seafood and the calamari wasn't a rubber band like some places but the mussels were over cooked because it was on the chewy side, no big deal. The shrimp was tail on so you have to get your hands in the plate.
Overall my lunch and cocktails were pretty good and I'm so glad that I finally stopped over and checked them out.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
