Authentic & flavorful Thai food with glamorous ambience. Not to mention the price is very reasonable!
Although I could not handle spicy food, I craved southern style food so much that I asked them if they could make them not too spicy for me
And it was my lucky day!!! They were able to accommodate me but just for some items which was understandable
I couldn't enjoy desserts that much.... Not because they were not good but it was because my belly had no more space mango was sooo sweet and Bua loi tasted just like in Thailand.
this many starts would have been published if Yelp allows me...
Definitely a place you must go for Thai food.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 30, 2022
Update: reduced menu items
Ordered: Laotian papaya salad, pork jerky, fried chicken over egg fried rice
Verdict: salad was still spicy even at mild. Fried rice was on point.
Toddler verdict: 4 toddler pointsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 5, 2021
Really good food here. The place was recommended by my daughter's friend who comes to Vegas often. She didn't steer us wrong. We ordered rangoons, papaya salad, pad Thai, pumpkin curry beef, & crab fried rice. Everything was fresh and prepared well. I loved the texture of the pad Thai noodles. Probably the best I've had. My daughter raved about the salad but the rest of us thought it was good, not amazing. I recommend the iced tea and coffee. They were all tasty and come in large glasses. Don't forget to check in with Yelp to get your free ice dessert.
Service is exceptional and they check in on you often. About the only negative thing was the parking lot that's not well lit and the location isn't in the best of neighborhoods. Other than that, no complaints. I'd actually rate them 4 and a half if Yelp would let me. Definitely worth a try.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Sandy N.Las Vegas, NV309126700Apr 9, 2022
I can't believe I have not written a review of one of my favorite Thai places in town! Maybe I was trying to keep it to myself lol
I can't be selfish anymore though, everyone needs to know how great Chuchote is!
I've been here frequently over the last few years and have always been a fan of their curry as well as practically everything else on the menu. Y'all, I cannot eat spicy food and this is one of the only places that can make flavorful food without spice which I very much appreciate!
If you're a simple person who doesn't like to try new things get the pad Thai, it's amazing. If you are looking for a delicious and comforting soup, get the Tom Kha soup it's phenomenal. If you're looking for a refreshing salad, try the beef salad, it's zesty, and full of flavor. If you like curry, my favorite is the yellow, however the panang comes in close second. For dessert, you must try the mango and sticky rice, consistency and execution is one of the best in town. Don't forget your lychee drink! That is a must!
It looks like they just went through a remodel, not sure if there's new ownership but the customer service has been as great as it was from the first time I ever walked in. There's usually enough parking because it's a large shopping center, which is a huge plus!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jeff F.Las Vegas, NV2383147May 29, 2022
Hidden gem.
My brother told me about this place. Small spot near Herbs and Rye. Absolutely delightful! I can only describe it as upscale Thai. Traditional flavors but elevated presentations.
Desserts and service are . Not common for small Asian restaurant in my experience.
A must try when you're craving some great Thai!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Frances A.San Diego, CA3138441642Dec 11, 2021
On the night we went, there seemed to be only one guy helping the whole restaurant. . . .even taking the phone orders. He explained that we're a couple of sick calls.
I felt so bad for him because the weekend night was busy and he seemed to have a good nature about him despite his workload.
I actually took more pics than posted, but I was so excited to dig in that my photos were blurry because I did not have enough Patience to take good ones/re-do the photos.
We enjoyed all the food!
The Tom yum did come out spicier than requested but the sticky rice helped tamper our tongues down.
My papaya salad was fresh and not too fishy tasting, but I wish more mint was added as I prefer a lot of mint.
Hole in the wall place off strip is the way to go when in Vegas!Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - 4532022101Dec 4, 2021
What a hidden gem! This Thai restaurant on Sahara has amazing dishes, and they are all absolute hits.
You can't go to a Thai restaurant and not get Basil Fried rice or Pad See Ew. The fried rice has sautéed basil throughout it, making it wonderfully fragrant. The Pad See Ew has chewy noodles with a nice bounce to it, with notes of saltiness from the oyster sauce that's used in it.
The Khua Kling ground pork has a mixture of spice and different herbs that tingles your tongue and sends off different flavors into your mouth. There's freshness from the herbs and a kick from the heat. Even a level 2 heat has me sweating a little! Thank goodness for the side of cucumber to help cool things down.
The beef stew curry was a surprise hit; a piece of soft, tender meat sitting in a pool of salty, red curry, it was amazing! The coconut milk in it gives it a creamy, nutty flavor and contrasts well with the beef.
Finally, the Pad Ped was the all time favorite. You have to get it southern style, for sure! Pieces of crunchy, salty pork belly sautéed with fresh and crunchy green beans and red bell pepper, it's a combination worth while.
If you're looking for a quality Thai place, look no further!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 18, 2020
Quite interesting if you have never tried Southern Thai before. Quite stinky but good!!! I myself skipped the fermented fish innards and went straight to the fried pineapple rice which was quite tasty. I also tried the drunken noodle with shrimp which was just as good. Add a Thai ice tea and call it a meal!
The service was excellent and the prices extremely fair. I always head straight for Chinatown every time I'm in Vegas. Unless it's a late night at the casino, I'm there.
Situated in a shopping center it's very easy to find and the parking is free.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Oct 26, 2021
My family and I were at Las Vegas and my mom wanted to buy us lunch that wasn't super expensive since we were staying at a hotel on The Strip. I looked on Yelp for affordable lunch specials and Chuchote Thai Bistro and Desserts comes up and I saw that they had probably the cheapest lunch specials I've ever seen: 7.95 for an entrée with house salad and some egg rolls is such a steal! When we arrived, the exterior seemed off but the interior inside was gorgeous and comfortable. Our waiter was extremely welcoming and kind with our group. They had lovely water cups and I loved that they were chilled as it was very much needed for this Washingtonian.
Now, we wanted to get some drinks and this place should be on The Strip with their presentations! They came out in these gorgeous jar looking containers with some shaved ice which I loved as I prefer shaved ice than blocks of ice as I get less of the beverage. However, the drink portions were totally fair, and if anything they should charge a bit more! For food, my boyfriend and I shared their lunch phad thai, my mom also got the lunch phad thai and my brother ordered a regular order of their Pad See Ew. All of the food was absolutely delicious and the flakes that they served with the phad thai added some great heat! The lunch portions were generous and you already know that their presentation game is on point! The salad and the dressing were very pleasant and the spring rolls were good too. Honestly, I would totally recommend this spot to anyone who lives in Las Vegas or those who are trying to avoid spending too much on food during vacation! Plus they have a neat check-in bonus for their shaved ice dessert which is a great way to close a meal there.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 2021
Went here for lunch on 7/11/2021 because they apparently have gluten free options.
Honestly, the first thing that I noticed was that it smelled weird when we walked in. Not like food, but like damp, musty building. It wasn't pleasant.
I wasn't a fan of the spring rolls because they tasted dry and the filling was mostly lettuce. My gluten free pad kee mao also was bland.
My husband liked his food and there was a check in offer for a mini shaved ice. Unfortunately the syrup on it tasted like bubblegum, so we took a few bites then left it.
Service was fine, but if you have a dietary issue, I don't suggest their gluten free options.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
