I have been communicating with the owner and with the stylist who is going to color my hair since October 15. Their answering machine is always full and I can't get a call back. Looking elsewhere.

I was a woman in distress. Bad day on top of bad week on top of I feel like I will go crazy if I don't do something right this instant.

I happen to walk by here, decide a new hair color is in order, and 10 min later I am sitting in the chair with a complimentary glass of wine and the sweetest gal I've ever met! Davina was super friendly and knew exactly what I needed. She's very gentle with your hair, it's so relaxing just chilling in the chair, sipping my wine, and chatting with her.

My first experience at Cibara Salon was more than I expected. Waleed styled my hair with a beautiful balayage and trim. I moved to Ventura a year ago & haven't found the perfect stylist until I met Waleed. He took the time to fully understand what I wanted, and what would be best for my hair. From the bat I saw how professional and experienced he is. He's awesome!!!

6/10/11****eyelash extensions by Kenna.

Tonight I had my first experience of eyelash extensions with Kenna. I'm absolutely in love with my lashes! In just an house she was able to transform my sleepy eyes to look much more awake and youthful. I can't wait to come back and get hem refilled to be much more fuller ;)



Decided to schedule a last minute appointment with Debbie, I'm so glad that I did! Debbie has been in the nail industry for about 30 years, therefore she knows her stuff. She's also a really nice/cool person to chat with while getting your nails done. Nothing is more awkward than getting your nails done and it's weirdly quiet. I already had previous gels on, so for first time clients there is a $10 polish removal. This is just for the first visit, once you become a regular with her there is no additional charge.
A shellac manicure is $30.00 She has many colors to chose from, I only took a picture of one of the color samples she had. She has neutral to wacky, vibrant colors.

The overall salon is pretty cool. It's a full-service salon that also sells make-up and clothes. A super cute boutique style spot.

Oh, they also serve wine which makes your experience thaaat much better

I have been going to Vanessa Moon for over 5 years. She has always been professional and become family.

She always knows what I want and is careful not to take it to extreme unless i want to.

I walked in for the first time with a fried, frizzy, copper colored mess on top of my head. Within two sessions she took my damaged hair and turned it into beautiful blonde balayage locks. Having mixed African-American hair it can be difficult to find someone I completely trust. Lisa is a CHAMP and I love the results.

I recommend her for anyone with curly or damaged hair.

This is a great spot for your significant other to get their hair styled and prepped.My wife is always looking for a great stylest, and she found one of the best at this location. Starr does a great job She not only makes sure that her clients are looking good after she is complete, but they also feel just as good with the look and feel of the final result. The location is central, as it is walking distance from the Ventura Pier as well as many restuarants and coffee shops. As your better half is getting their hair styled, you can walk to the nearest coffee shop or to the peir and relax and enjoy the scenary.

Service is great and you can see customers walk out satisfied with the final results.

it was quick, comfortable, and they offered tea or lemon water, very welcoming.

Lisa is fantastic!! Due to my busy schedule I always let my color and split ends go waaaaayyy too long and she saves me every time! She also preps my root color to match my natural shade in case I let it go longer than intended so it won't look blocky. See photos for evidence of her work :)

About Waled...I have been coloring my hair some version of blonde for...ever. I haven't seen my natural color in decades, although the roots, I knew, were gray. Recently I've had it in mind to embrace my age and find a way to grow out my gray. Today I brought in some photos of bayalage showing some beautiful blonde/gray blends. Waled has been doing hair and dealing with women for 25 years. He was very wise and gentle in letting me know my natural color was now WHITE so my original ideas would not be growing out to look good.
He said 'Trust me, I know what to do, and it will be my responsibility. You will be happy.' I could tell he is a perfectionist because of the extra time and care he took to produce a natural looking color that blends old color and new and will allow my white hair to grow out gracefully. Then, he gave me great haircut too. He is a lovely man, very experienced and talented, with an inspiring story about making this country, and Ventura, his home. This was my first appointment and I will be going back!
