I have really let myself go as far as waxing is concerned and I do not like the end results of having so much body hair down south.

There are very few places to certain people who find someone who does excellent work and attention to detail. When you find this place and person, you are willing to stick with them.

Today is the day Amy helped me remove my unwanted body hair. My past dealings with body hair have never been as bad as it was today. The process was painless as possible. Some areas of the body were tender afterwards, but this went away after a day or two.

Amy not only pays attention to detail, but spends a decent amount of time removing the wax from my skin. Other places I have visited did pisspoor jobs on such things. I am happy to say Classic Nail&Spa is not one of those places.

Updating the price boards would be my number one request for new comers to this business.

This has been my go to place for years. I have gotten my nails done, facials, massage and waxing all in one place.
Sadly, this is not the case anymore. Waxing is the primary reason I come here now, and it is starting to look like i might need to find a new place.

Now let's take a step backwards so i can explain what is going on. Back on December 21st, I called Classic Nail&Spa to make an appointment. I hung up the phone after one ring, because I needed to check on something first. When I called back I wasn't able to get through.

When I say get through, I mean the phone would ring once, than hang up. This has been going on since December 21st of 2021. Since I am not able to call this business on my cell phone, it makes it hard to make appointments. I do not use a landline phone anymore.

Yesterday was 1/18/22 I stopped by after work. I saw only three people wearing masks upon entering. Myself and two clientele. The staff seems to have had their shots, so they did not were masks.

I was greeted by Amy who looked tired. Amy is my primary esthetician and I was taken to the treatment room by her. The floor looked like it needed a good sweeping and a mop. Undressing to my birthday suit without standing on the floor took some time.

Today...no, yesterday felt different. The ambience was in the store, but it was a different kind of ambiance. Amy started applying the warm wax on my ass, but she stopped to go check on something. (Now in fairness, I did meantion to Amy about not being able to call the store while I was in the treatment room. This is around the time she left the room twice while warm wax was on my ass) When the wax was removed, the feeling was different. The rest of the removal of pubic hair went smoothly, but my butt felt...different.

Amy removed some hair in the front too. It was those hair to reach places a blade has no business being, unless nessasary. Once done, Amy did her clean up and I did not feel pain, but my pubic area still did not feel like should from time before.

After Amy left, I saw blood on the dance floor...no..just a spot of blood on the medical exam paper. I checked to see what the bleeding was coming from and I found little specks of blood on the tissue.

Yes, I am aware some skin can be ripped from waxing. It goes with the territory. Still, it would have been nice to know that I was bleeding from my esthetician.

When I got home, I checked out my situation, but the lighting sucked and i didn't get a good look. Still, i applied some Neosporin Cream to disinfect any kind of possible infection and help heal the small skin tears.
Doing this at night and in the morning has given my lower anatomy where the sun doesn't shine a greasy sensation. Nevertheless, the healing has begun and I will continue this for the next few days.

I just feel like the Coronavirus Outbreak has changed things at this place. Maybe I just haven't been coming here enough and this is why things may seem different. I need to contemplate on my decision about Classic Nail&Spa.

This place isn't bad, but I don't feel good right now.

It has been a while since getting my waxing touchup.   I have been doing the art of shaving down south. A skill many women and men have aquired.  A skill I have gotten better at without the unpleasant itching after effects.   


Still, I don't wish to shave my butt and everything in between.   So I guess in the long run, I haven't mastered the whole shaving thing, but (no pun intended) I am making progress. 

So here I sit waiting for my Tina (My epilation technician) to arrive.     Tina and Amy are very skilled at epilation. I believe there is one more lady who does waxing, but I have forgotten her name. 


The removal of my unwanted hair came quickly and pain free.  In the end, Tina handed me a mirror so I can inspect myself in all its heavenly glory.   I liked what I saw.  
Tina then performed the art of clean up and removal of the wax residue.  Something I think is just as important as the hair removal.  Some places like Avalon Lifestyle Nail Salon which shall remain nameless,  tell you to clean yourself up at home.  Nevermind the wax that is all over you.  Your clothing will be just fine...as well as your skin.  


Anyhow,  Tina did what Avalon Lifestyle Nail Salon doesn't do and cleaned up the left over wax.  Taking her time and doing it right as the song goes...LEAVING out the sexual metaphors in the song I might add.
In short, I feel much better.

While waiting for Tina, I got a chance to see some small changes and things things that need improvements.

The biggest thing I see that need improvement is the price list for the services provided. Not everything is listed on here from what I can see. The manager says he will be working on it soon. I will check back on this.

The newest thing I see is the music boxs on the wall playing classical music. The theme is called Top 100 Love Songs Ever.

There is one song I liked very much. The song I found is called Somewhere In Time, but this version of the song has an Asian theme to it.

Tina did my the upper thighs, whole butt area and front around the penis. (Since i already took care of the hair there) $75 dollars is one hell of a price for feeling much cleaner and hairless.

This was some much needed work and I know wife will love it. Especially since I got her use to a hairless cat.

Excellent work Tina.

THIS IS ONE NAIL SALON THAT IS NOT AFRAID TO DO WAXING FOR MEN.

Oh, I forgot, Hannah does micro blading, permanent makeup and several other skills. This sign is located outside the store. Tina says this cost is $350 not counting the twenty percent discount. Tina says this "normally costs a lot more at other places." I wouldn't know, but you ladies and gentlemen might.

Dispite the Must Wear A Mask sign on the door, the staff have stopped wearing a mask. Masks are now optional and you are free to do as you like.

As I write my review, Amy is removing unwanted body hair from my legs. Yes, nice smooth legs.

The cost has differently gone up, but there hasn't been an update on the prices for service here. It would be a very big help to know the new prices so everyone knows what they are paying for.

Just a thought.

Facial, pedicure, waxing, and manicure hooray!...but it wasn't all at one time. Today at 1:30pm, i had an appointment to get rid of so unsightly hair a while back.

I also got the European Butt Facial. I had some horrible acne which Tina was able to repair and reduce the bump pains. Additional treatments with Stridex have been used and the bumps are now nearly gone.

Thank you Tina attention to detail as well.

7/3/20  After driving by Classic Nail&Spa for months, they are finally  open, but are taking the Coronavirus Outbreak more seriously than other nail salons or businesses I have seen so far. 

New Features:
Upon walking in, "you will find a world of pure imagination, living free you will find explanation,"...but, "if you want to view paradise,  simply look around of you will"...and you will find a manicure, pedicure  and hair cuttery are all devided with plastic barriers to protect your esthetician and you the guest of the shop.

You will also find upon entering this humble abode,  cleaning sprays, hand sanitizer in various locations around the shop, a temperature taker,  a barrier for the cashier. 
Sadly there is no hands free credit cards system set up yet,... but it could happen.  I noticed that the owner has done a lot of panting and cleaning of the property. 

The waxing room has been repainted and the floors were clean up too. I also saw the bathroom was cleaned up too. The walls were repainted and the sink had a new faucet installed. The owner isn't done with the upgrades. I think he has more in mind for the bathroom.

Once again Amy was able to remove my unwanted body hair.  She has been able to do this without pain or discomfort  too. Normally the pain can be more intense in sensitive areas, but to me,  Amy is able to remove hair with care and speed.

Today is May 14th 2020 and it is one day before salons, massage palors and other small businesses can reopen.

Because of the Coronavirus, many of use have had to personally groom ourselves. Some areas are harder than others. It's some of the simple things one can take for granted and I do miss getting my monthly to bi-weekly waxing.

I miss seeing my Estheticians and hope they and their families are okay during these scary times. I hope to see Amy and Tina tomorrow at Classic Nail Spa.

To all of the employees of Classic Nail Spa, us loyal customers have not forgotten about you and the wonderful work you do here.

This will be quick, but one of the best things about this business is this..., if there is a problem with the service you had, let them know and it will be fixed.

This past Friday Amy had done some much needed waxing and all though she does a phenomenal job, misses and mistakes can happen. I found patches of hair that were missed and she fixed the problem without any complaints or added charges.

I am pleased to say this is the number one place to go to for my waxing needs.

To wax or not to wax? I had to wax. Unsightly public hair in unwanted places. Amy removed some hair that was missed this past Saturday at another salon.

Why go to another salon when the best is here to stay you might ask? It's good to have a back up nail salon in case your top shop's employees are extremely busy and can't get to you today. The other reason, maybe they are both off duty.

Have one, two or more places you can go if you can. Still Classic Nail Spa is my number one, and there is no second to none spot as of yet.

Thank you Amy for outstanding job. I even learn something new about you today. See you in two or four weeks.

It's been over a month since I had a Brazilian and Amy was able to get me in and clean me up.

Did I mention that I dislike hair down south where the sun doesn't shine? Well now you know. Amy works wonders and I appreciate the clean up job she does.

I wasn't planning on stopping by here today, but plans changed and Amy just happened to be free to do some much needed waxing.

The time was 7:19 when I arrived, but when I left it was 21:09. Amy was able to remove the unwanted hair and went beyond the usual closing time to help me out.

I appreciate the customer service this business provides. Thank you Amy.

It's been a month and five days since I had any waxing done. I had call to see if Amy or Tina could do my waxing, but was informed they were both busy.

I started my car and was thinking what I would do since I now had free time on my hands. My phone rings and I pull over and park. Tina told me she could do my waxing since her appointment was going to someone else.

The time is now 7pm for my appointment, but it seem Tina's client really wanted her. Amy is with a client and I expect her to take her time and do things right...as it should be.

The owner of Classic Nail Spa has really fixed up his business. I don't know how the waxing rooms or bathroom will look like now, but I will find out soon enough.

19:28 is the time I lay here waiting for my treatment. The treatment rooms look nicely decorated, but the walls and bathrooms could use a new paint job. The floor could use some cleaning, because wax residue is all over the floor and some parts of the wall.

This is just a suggestion. 19:34, Amy started the waxing process. A little power has been put on my skin to help spot the hair...did I meantion I dislike pubic hair? 20:34 I am out the door with the unwanted hair removed.

Amy went over her normal hours to help me out...I thank you for going beyond the call of duty Amy. The owner Kevin has a valuable employee...

I shall return...

Richard Clayderman's Hungarian Sonata plays as Tina works on removing the wax from my most hated places.

Since I am going to attend a wedding tomorrow, I need to get a beard trim, because I was feeling itchy.

Tina can do facials, waxing, nails, massage and haircuts. She is a Jack of all traits and I am glad she was available today.

I believe Hanna was there too, and I think she can do everything Tina can do, but I will find out later.

Well, gotta go,

On August 2nd I was here to have some waxing done. I had gone probably one month or longer without shaving and started to look like a yeti downstairs. My wife commented on this and made it clear she liked it when I kept it clean down there.

I had my whole backside (yes, this includes between the cheeks) waxed, but the front part was to long. When I say front part, I mean pubic hair. I have had very long pubic hair pulled before and it hurts a lot more than the shorter hair being pulled.

So what big idea do I come up with? I asked Amy to shave the hair. This would be fine, but I had to much of my hair shaved and since that time, I have had an itchy two weeks of the hair growing back.

I have been using gold bond medicated lotion to relieve the itchy feeling during the day. The lotion works wonders all day, but (no pun intended) there is a draw back. During this time it has been very hot outside and has made me very sweaty down there. I will take being sweaty than being itchy all day.

For the past today's I haven't needed to use the Gold Bond, but I have used a razor bump remover called Skin Tight. This version is the roll on type (the best kind) and works wonders. The down side is it stinks and should be used if you are going out in public areas. Wait an hour after putting it on is my best advise. Anyhow, I have used this at night time and wake up to find more of the bumps gone.

Today is Friday the 16th and the front part of my public hair has grown back to a decent pulling size. I hope Amy or Tina will be working today. I hope Amy will be there, because I found some hair that was missed last time I was there. I discovered this the very next day, but let it go. I will need to check this time around before I leave the store.

The time is now 7:48AM so I have some time to think about making an apointment. I will be heading from work to the store if I can get the appointment....

Turns out Tina was there and she was able to get rid of some unsightly pubic hair...most importantly the itch factor. She worked her magic, but at the end day, I was the second to last on leaving the store. A young woman was there before me and was there when I left around 8:15pm.

Hello Tina,
Yes I am back again. Back for another scheduled hair removal down south. I had waxing done at Mavanna Nails, but not everything was done.

Tina will be able to finish the final steps for Male Grooming Day 3. Indeed Tina was able to deliver and deliver well. She removed the hair where the sun doesn't shine and clean up the hot mess in the front. I will not let myself go like this again for as long as its been.

Tina even cleaned up several spots that were missed for Male Grooming Day 2....actually, all this Male grooming stuff was done in one day, but I like the sound of day.

Classic Nail&Spa is my go to place for all types Male...and female waxing. This place is one of the few in Virginia that does not turn away men all types of waxing.

Back again, but Tina was on vacation. I am happy my number one Esthetician was on duty today. Amy was just finishing up with a client when I arrived. When I entered the establishment, Amy's client had already left.

Amy found a lot of pubic that grew back in two weeks time. Amy as through and got rid of this hair I don't like.

Thanks to her professionalism, the hair is gone and the itchy feeling won't return.

Known it's been more than two weeks since I had my last waxing touch up, I called yesterday on Friday the 1st of March to make an appointment with Tina.

Today is 3/2/19 and I arrived here ahead of time after my mandatory meeting today. I noticed a new (maybe new to me) shelf for nail polish. I see the old bottles have been placed on spinners. It's only a matter of time before the ease on out the door never to be seen again in the old bottle style...I'd you don't know what I mean, I have pictures for you.


Today is very quiet, but the music is relaxing. Tina is working with another customer, but I am in no hurry....no sooner did I type that in, Tina said she was ready.

Walking to the waxing room, I notice small changes I did not notice the last time I was here. Magazine shelf that now holds various magazines for you to peruse through.

The warm wax gives off a great feeling. Once again the feeling of warm wax on my spread over my body is one of the greatest sensations I have ever felt. The removal of hair was fast, through and most importantly painless. Tina delivered with expert precision around sensitive areas of the body.

I truly admire Tina's technique and knowledge of the human anatomy. I am very happy that she is works here; as well, as having permanent place to go for nails, hair, facial, waxing and massage. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable.

Another great day at Classic Nail Spa.

Another quick touch up by Tina who has her skills down to a since. I use to ho here once a week, but it seems two weeks gives this process better results.

Once again I am back to remove some unwanted hair. Tina worked fast and expertly removed the hair off my ass.. smooth as a baby's ass....how would you know?

Take my word for it. Tina was rocking a red long sleeve shirt with scarf, but she removed it. The black dress pants were new to me, but they had a Christmas look to them. The black dress shoes were...and I quote "styling and profiling."

Tina is always the best dressed for the work she does. Her good personality makes it a pleasure to come back to.

It's that time again. It time to remove unwanted body hair so that it does not itch later on.
Today Amy and Tina are here. Normally one of them are off duty when I show up.

I have had both of the do my wax treatments and they both them pay attention to detail when removing hair. Sadly, I have been to places that do not. I might also add they were not good at the clean up process...but we won't say names...

Anyhow, I highly recommend getting your nails or waxing done with them.

The time is now 9:16am and on Yelp, it says they open at 9am. I will be back after grabbing some pants to be repaired. 9:18am...10:56am and there are now two staff members here.

Tina and the woman with the ponytail. Tina who does my waxing must of the time is with a client. Ms. Ponytail says she has client on her way...guess no manicure along with the waxing today.

No big deal, the waxing is the more important of the two...less itching if you know what I mean.

Since I need to wait an hour, I will go to target and take care of business there...11:00am...11:57am I am back and Tina is ready for me.

After removing the hair down south, the itchy feeling has gone away. I can't tell you wat a relief that is.

Tina is one of the most thorough estheticians I have met. I am glad I found this place.

From what I saw on Yelp, it has been three months since I was here last. This is a long time to go without getting some waxing done.

Today I did the Brazilian, because I wanted to see a difference between here an Regal Nails.
This experiment might take one more or two more times to complete this experiment.

Tina did a great job plucking the Backstreet Boys from the back yard. There is no reason to have hair there. This is just how I feel, and I know someone out there would say there is a reason for butt hair. Well I don't need it so there...

The waxing was fast, but I am glad I preshaved in the front a day early. The pulling of the hair would have been more painful this time around if I hadn't prereshaved. Since I am nervous about having the bean stock waxed with regular wax, I decided to have it shaved by Tina. Yes, they can do that if waxing sensitive areas maybe to tender. If you have had ripped skin down south, than you know what I am talking about.

Today though, I found hair that was missed by both parties. I will inform Tina and see if she can fix this problem. It doesn't happen often, but it can and does happen with everyone at some point.

Just spoke to Tina about the missing hair and like I expected, she is very cool about it. This is one of the man reason I keep coming back here.

I might do the European Facial and European Butt Facial next time. Only $60 for each.

In just seven days, I see hair growth on my body that just grows way to fast.

When I use to perm my hair, I always wanted my curly hair to grow out quickly so I could get my hair straightened to a longer length.

Pubic hair on my grow way to fast for me. Seems like unwanted body hair has a tendency to do that.

Monday July 16th 2018 is the day I get my legs waxed by Lee. Between her and Amy, they do a fantastic job.

Last time I got my whole legs waxed was in January. The hair has gotten to the point that I don't like it.

As I feel the hair being ripped away,
I feel some pain and pleasure knowing the hair will take time to regrow back.

My tattoo now glows bright now that the hair is gone. Great job Lee.

It's been a little over 2 weeks since I had my waxing touch up...correction, 21 days. If your not sure what this means, it means I'm getting my whole backside waxed.

I can take care of the front, but the backside is a pain in the ass so to speak.

So here I am lying on my stomach waiting for Amy my esthetician to start. When she does, she starts with baby powder to get rid of any moisture.

I can feel the warm wax on my skin and followed by the waxing strip. Amy works fast and soon the hair on the back of my leg is gone.

I am normally good about my Male grooming habits, but for the past month I have been under a lit of stress.

Now with Amy's help and her attention to detail and things seem to back on track. Maybe on two weeks time I will have my arms, legs and full Brazilian done as well. I don't like pubic hair especially in my ass. I have tried the shaving thing and that got very itchy. I was new to shaving back then.

I feel the ripping of hair being pulled from down stairs and was appealed to see how much hair had grown back.

If the hair on my head should ever grow as quickly, I would be a lucky man.

Amy finishes off the waxing with a rub down to remove the oil. I have seen different ways of getting one's backside waxed, and I prefer the the on all fours with one's head down. There is less chance of getting your skin ripped by the wax.

I have tried sugaring, and as good as it is, it is very expensive. Plus finding a place that services Brazilians for guys; as well, as women is hard, but not impossible.

Amy is one of a kind and I am glad she works here at Classic Nails. It is always a pleasure with her service.

Once again Amy delivers outstanding performance at removing unwanted hair from my body. She is fast and very thorough.

Honestly if she were to leave, it would be a pain in the ass to find another wax establishment that does Brazilian waxing for men.

Once again Amy has outdone herself on the Brazilian waxing. Once a week Amy or Tina preforms miracles on my body. I dislike body hair down south.

Once a week I am astonished on how quickly body hair grows back. If the hair on my head grew as quickly as pubic hair, my hair on my head could be down to my shoulders...if I started getting relaxers again.

Amy's attention to detail make proud to return to Cassical Nail & Spa. The prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic.

I am bound to get another facial byTina soon and look forward to another professional job.
Ladies, if you get your nails fone, I highly recommend getting them buffed.

Got a Manicure and a touch on waxing today. Cathy was my stylist for my nails today. I never thought about until now, but Cathy and Amy could be twins. I especially liked seeing a new pack of cutting tools opened in front of me. This was a very good start to having a stylist I have never had before. I enjoy having my nails buffed instead of the clear polish that could be used. I find buffing the nails lasts a longer time than polish.

Once I even had my nails painted royal blue for fun. It lasted for one day. The general manager at McDonald's drove by and asked me why my nails were blue. I heard her voicemail later on and removed the color the next day. I found out about buffing the nails after that. Yes, some people found the blue nail polish funny. The facial expressions is what I was after. At the time I did not think about what nail polish could do to food. Luckily I did not handle much food that day as a window person. Once again I digress...Cathy is good and I thank her for her service.

Tina came along to help me with my waxing touch up on the backside. I like it smooth and can do without the itchiness. I noticed it grows back faster than the hair on my head. There is something not right about that.Tina once again did an outstanding job.

Between Amy and Tina, they rule the shop.
Amy does waxing, nails and massage.
Tina does waxing, nails, massage, hair and facials. I highly recommend the butt facial for $60. Same price as the Facial. Ask for Tina. She seems to be the one who can do everything.

Note:
The only downside is the bathroom needs a remodeling and waxing rooms could use a fresh paint job.

I have seen two other nail establishments places changed the game in this field. They use disposable plastic bags that go inside the tub. This cuts down many types of cross contamanation with other people's feet. Combined this with safe cleaning habits and you've got a higher step on the ladder than the others competitors. This will build an even higher clientele level by attracting new customers.

Just a thought.

I've been coming to this salon since 2009 and have never ONCE been unhappy with my nails. Kevin is literally amazing at his work and his wife Kathy is the sweetest. Every employee I've come across has been nice and welcoming to me but I want to focus on Kevin since he is the one who does my sets/fills every time. He takes his time, listens to what you want, and makes sure you're happy. This salon also gives great prices!

My TOP pet peeve at some nail salons is that the tech will do nails that are too thick or uneven and Kevin does it perfect. I've attached my recent jobs. Not even close to 1/3 of the amazing sets he's done for me obviously.
