04/27/23 - First Visit
(AC Maintenance):

On time. The AC technician (Fermin) was very professional, friendly and respectful in his demeanor. He explained the entire process of the AC Maintenance Service in detail prior to starting. He even encouraged me to stay and watch the process I guess in the name of transparency. I really appreciated that, plus he took multiple photos of all the electrical test readings on various AC components being tested utilizing his electronic test equipment during the time I left the area. I came back and he patiently explained what each test readings meant in layman's terms. He completed the AC Maintenance Service without complications and gave my AC unit a clean bill of health. He kept the area clean and tidied up before leaving. I will definitely call Controlled Climates Heating and Air Conditioning again for service. I'd give it SIX stars if I could!

05/09/23 - Second Visit
(Heater Maintenance):

On time. We had technician Fermin again which I appreciated for the excellent work completed previously. The work completed today was exceptional just as I reviewed the last time (above). Fermin appeared very knowledgeable in his trade and very detail oriented which I appreciate, because I'm like that too. I did mention a family member was still asleep nearby and he took it upon himself to quietly move about and did his work with the minimum amount of noise which I appreciate. So respectful. I truly believe that technician Fermin should be recognized by company management for his overall hard work and his importance to your company Controlled Climates. Again SIX stars if available!

So disappointed! They got bought by Allbritten after we scheduled our appointment. On the day of our scheduled appointment I had to take the day off work, which isn't a problem, but they called at 4:30 to say they weren't coming. I said I would not take another day off work so we scheduled a Saturday appointment. When they arrived they wanted to charge me the Allbritten price, not the price agreed over the phone. It got worked out, but I'm not sure I'll use them again.

I can see why the reviews are as high as they are. Scheduling was as straightforward, and all visit and fee details explained clearly. When our technician, Mr. Woods, arrived, he was professional, informative, knowledgeable, and incredibly courteous. Beyond completing the job, efficiently and expertly, he went as far as moving our trash bins beyond his service vehicle to ensure garbage pickup wouldn't be interrupted if pickup happened during the service call. Another reviewer mentioned they'd give a 6-star review if they could, and I'd gladly do the same. As long as they're around, they'll have my business.

If CC management is reading this, please give Mr. Woods a raise, his own parking space, whatever it takes to keep him onboard! Same goes for Katelyn, scheduling was a breeze and I appreciate the extra time she took to send us some contractor referrals for additional work that we'll need done beyond the AC service.

They were very responsive, fair pricing and had great customer service. Would recommend.

Controlled climates has repaired our AC twice over the past 10 years and also installed ductwork for an
addition. Every time they've been honest, courteous, competent and fairly priced. It doesn't get better than that.

In the middle of this terrible heat wave, the air conditioning stopped working completely. Katelyn was very kind to schedule us for same-day service, and Conner came out and fixed the problem later that afternoon. Both the office and the technician were very pleasant to work with, and the work was excellent. The repair was not even very expensive, and Conner gave us the good news that the A/C unit overall looks to be in pretty good shape. We have been happily running the A/C ever since, because it's about 110 degrees all week. Very grateful to Controlled Climates that we now have a controlled climate!

Everyone I spoke to was friendly and great!
Katelyn in the office was patient and incredibly helpful setting up the service and communication follow up was awesome!
Ray Montez and Nathan were on time and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Not condescending or trying to upsell us, I really appreciate that.
I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future!

Mr. Ray the young man who is the boss is absolutely awesome.

Before any work done, had a scientist come out to the house to go over all the flows of the current system. Discussed the cheapest option (add new intakes because they were a bottleneck) to the most expensive (add a variable unit - fancy schmancy)

After looking at the quotes, they were much cheaper. Like 33-50% cheaper.
One would think that it would come at a cost.

Had a variable system installed (about a year ago).
Thankfully It was perfect customer service.

The hardware and software were new to the company
They kept tinkering with it as something didn't add up.
Others would have bounced. Ray stuck with it until he had Coleman's actual men come.

When it was realized that Coleman was really slipping with this particular product, they swapped out the system for a 2 level unit.

The amount of work and follow up that they did to make sure we were happy and this complicated machine was working perfectly was unparalleled.

I am sorry it took soo long to write this review.

You will not regret working with this top notch team.

If there was a 6-Star option, I'd give it to Controlled Climates. I have very high expectations but no different than the rest of us; quality, knowledge, and service-first performance at a reasonable price. After trying other hit & miss, nickel & diming HVAC companies, when Mama's old school wall heater needed attention, I decided to try this family-run, locally-owned company instead of no-name corporate places with their profits-before-people schemes.
Controlled Climates returned my call promptly, Katelyn pleasantly got me scheduled with a fair cost range, then their tech Dallas truly exceeded every expectation from communication before, questions answered during, and polite suggestions after the repair!
Wow, people with sincere and compassionate hearts to serve?! What a refreshing expereince, will defintely use them in the future and refer friends & family.
Keep up the stellar work all ya'll at Controlled Climates, there are plenty of us out here who appreciate what you do!

This company was very responsive and professional. The representative they sent out, Conner, was very professional and kind. He took a look at the leaking water heater, explained to me what was going on, fixed the leak and told me there would be a small extra charge on top since he had to do that which was very understandable. Stopped the leak within only 30 minutes and explained to me what the next steps to take were and gave me options. Great experience!
