Cool Vybz Jamaican Restaurant

Hands down the best Jamaican food in Phoenix! I cannot get enough of their jerk chicken and plantains. The owner, Raymond, is a very cool down to earth person. The food had such an authentic taste and I highly recommend you come have a meal here with your friends and family!

Good beef patty. Get em early yo. They run out fast. Or call ahead if you have a big order.

I have never had Jamaican food before but I am so happy I did. Honestly, the jerk chicken was so good, we left and ate there for about 3 strait days after! The beef patties will sell out so get there early! I am all about supporting our local businesses so this definitely is worth a try! I will be going back for more!

I love the their food we mostly order takeout but getting our order is always a struggle. They are always out of something. and super slow. One time they were out of almost everything lol. We stopped picking up food ourselves and started using uber eats cause the food is that good we didn't want to give it up. It worked for a while but they manage to screw that up too. The service is so horrible tits laughable. Like calm down girl no one is trying to argue with you I just want my food . Three delivery drivers later still food. ‍.

One of the best places, next to Ms Martha's, for oxtails. Flavorful and fall off the bone with a nice gravy for your white rice and cabbage. Downside was the cabbage but the oxtails were so good I'll forgive them.

Extremely tasty food & great customer service. the jerk chicken is my favorite and the cabbage is very yummy. I will continue to eat from this restaurant.

All start off with saying I did not eat at the restaurant. I ate at their food truck. We ended up ordering the Fried Chicken, beef empanadas and Cheesy bacon fries. The food looked good but we had some problems with it. To start the fried chicken although had some sauce was really dry as if it was overcooked. The sauce itself wasn't bad but a little to sweet for me. The side of rice had decent seasonings. The beef empanadas was also very dry and too strong of a cinnamon flavor or something. The Cheesy bacon fries was probably the best thing which not a culinary masterpiece but again was pretty good. My guess would be the restaurant would be better over the food truck but it would be a hard sell for me to try it again.

The service is horrible. I requested no rice and peas and requested just the Cabbage and plantains. The owner kept saying you want extra Cabbage instead of rice and proceeded to charge me for extra Cabbage. I told him I don't want to be charged extra. He replied the amount of Cabbage they provide is small. So he was going to charge me for two extra sides in addition to the full price of the meal. SMH...just ridiculous. There are too many other Caribbean restaurants to overpay for mediocre at best food.

I went and spent $25 on an ox tail dinner and they gave me four small pieces of meat with a bunch of rice! As if I asked for rice with a side of ox tails. It's horrible customer service and a scam! And the meat was dry and salty!

The food is good but the attitude from the lady at the counter! Whew chile, I won't be back.

Hell even the chicks working at McDonald's smile and are courteous.
